Definitely need to add a Gavan to my shelf. This one looks great, even with his problems.

I really need to get into the Gavan series. Perhaps once I'm through more of the Heisei era Rider and Sentai series.

A very pretty figure, shame theres so many issues with it.

I really like the chrome. Just wondering, why is he placed with all those Super Sentai figures? is it just for scale or is there a theme going on as well?

Shaider is really big over here in the Philippines, and I sort of remember seeing a reference to Gavan somewhere too. Sharivan, however, is someone I only "met" during the Superhero Taisen Z film. He's the one I like best though, in terms of look, so I might might get the renewal, especially if it improves on this figure.

Yeah, I do not have many metallic or shiny figures for this reason. But its such a cool design and I love that they are giving older Toku series some love in figure form.

I may have to get the renewal...

I like these older techy designs. Really brings out the best of color and chrome.

I never care for this metal hero. The figuart cheap plastic made this a bad figure to pose with. I wonder how much the renewal will improve this figuart? Will it have some other QC like this or no QC at all time will tell when he release.

I really like those shots with the effect parts. Good stuff.

I always wanted to get Figuarts Gavan, but never got around to it. Lucky, I guess? Looking forward to the new one!

It's a reference to the Gokaiger vs Gavan movie. It's a pretty good movie.

Gavan is THE most popular Metal Hero, so it's a she he got such a bad Figuart release, makes the renewal all the more exciting!

Lools good. Love Metal Heroes and the figuarts make them absolutely gorgeous.

While it does look amazing in the gallery upon closer inspection you can see that indeed it is a flawed release. Good to know that there will be a renewal figure, which I'm sure will be nothing short of brilliant.

Having said that I think I will skip that one as well, for as much as I like the design, metal heroes never had the same impact in me as Sentai/PR and kamen rider.

Wow, there's something about Gavan's design that's just timeless, it's certainly retro, but it'll never look old like Ichigo and Akaranger do...

That sucks about the design flaws and quality issues. I never really got into Space Sheriff Gavan. I think I first encountered him/them from one of the Taisen movies. Despite my love for Transformers, I don't much care for the Metal Hero Series in general. :)

I don't have much expeience with Gavan. having only seen him in the Gokaiger crossover. but there's just something about this figure that seems underwhelming to me. I think maybe. somehow. it's too shiny. it seems to lose some of the details due to how bright and shiny it is.
that may just be the pics though.

I'm Beyond happy that the metal heros are getting proper SHF nowadays, that franchise has some of the best suit design in all of toku.
