Really vicious looking figure! I've seen Amazons, so I guess I kind of expected this.

I'm glad Kamen Rider Amazons has given me some context for this, since I haven't watched any Showa Rider shows. (Well, and I guess the Amazon episodes of Kamen Rider Decade.)

It's a nice figure, particularly for one that's a little bit older. The accessories are great, and it's interesting that they were experimenting with the movable pecs later found on Shinkocchou Seihou Kabuto.

Fingers crossed for the Toku Toy Box! (And I'm very much looking forward to your review of Amazon Omega.)

I need to add an Amazon to my collection sometime. He was always one of my faves.

Amazon really loves that they have a Rider of the same name do the they? :p Kinda off-topic, but this made me wonder, with the Ichigo movie and the Amazons TV show, along with the chance of Showa renewals, will that mean a revival of Showa? In Heisei Vs. Showa, fans voted that they liked Heisei better, but maybe Toei might be trying to bring Showa in the spotlight and make it appeal to old and new fans by making it more availible to new fan exposure.

The effects parts are amazingly appropriate, giving his attacks a very physical feel. Also he just screams, I am dangerous stay away

This figure looks amazing. Its cool that it's a rare find of a figuart having all the things it needs. I'm not much a fan of this amazon design, it has grown on me a bit. The recent amazons ones I love though. The gallery makes it look amazing and worth a buy. Plus it might be cheaper now and easier to get.

The Amazons designs were cool, but I definitely prefer the raw, organic look of the showa Amazon. Also the only Showa season I've really watched much of. Amazon was different, but the over the top violence was so cheesy.

The original is the best. I do like the effect parts he comes with, just wish I knew more about the series to say something more meaningful on the toy lol

It would be awesome if there had been a blood spray effect too but I know that's not really appropraite given how figures like this are marketed.

They're high end, somewhat expensive figures marketed towards an adult audience :lol

Besides, half of Amazon's enemies sprayed like, blue or orange blood, anyway.

Considering that this Figuarts had a mouth joint, it suprises me that Amazon Alpha didn't! And it's such a similarly shaped helmet too!

While I haven't watched the series (something that I should change as soon as possible) Kamen Rider Amazon's design is awesome and the figure looks amazing.
The stripes stand out greatly even from the distance, the sculpted stripes giving it a great sense of detail, bringing out the colours, I love the way even the knees are sculpted in. Thechest and abs look great as well while the headsculpt is simply wonderful. Eyes also look great and the use of the effect parts really highlight this figure.

Gotta love him facing off against that battle droid!

It still baffles me to think that Kamen Rider Amazon was so long ago, everything about it looks so freaking cool.

Always a weird design to me but great figure

I still much prefer the original Amazon design to the new one. He's supposed to be an animal, yeah? Of course he should look organic. Much like all these older SHFs, he shows age, but I think this one has held up fairly well. The most glaring part is the plastic-y, unpainted belt, but still good.

for some reason I can't help but thinks that there's just something oddly Adorable about amazon. maybe it's all the high pitched KII noises he makes.

Those effect parts really help take some of his cuteness away though. they look fierce!

Been watching though his series on and off recently. about 12 episodes in now. its amazing how far Toku has come since back then. it's been an enjoyable experience watching such an old show.

also it's amusing that Amazon.jp try to monopolise on their name with this rider.

after I finish watching Amazon, i plan to move onto Amazons. although I'm a little apprehensive about it.

I've always loved the Creature from the Black Lagoon look about this one. The mildly disturbing hinged jaw is a nice effect. The pictures of him going up against the B1 Battle Droid made me actually laugh out loud. :lol

It's truly a testament to the SHF team's ability to take an iconic suit and make it an articulated masterpiece. Such a great translation from prop to figure.

Amazon is a pretty cool suit design, I still need to pick him up eventually.

Kind of an... odd design. The colors seem like an odd match, and that head... Looks like a combination of The Fly and Tomar-Re... and not in a good way, lol

Amazon was stupid violent, and I loved it. He's our friendly neighborhood Kamen Rider, who chops and bites his enemies!!

I love how meta this release is and how more meta Amazon is with the new Amazons series. Now to wait for season 2 to have an episode featuring amazon's delivery service or something.

I'm tempted to try and track down an amazon since I have both omega and alpha now.

I don't really know anything about early Kamen Rider. But it looks cool and all those red lines on the helmet are slick.
