I guess they don't really do toy fair exclusives anymore, though I did get a couple little things and a bunch of crap. The dc direct bombshell harley seems like its a test sample or something, and the mega blocks press kit thing has some really neat packaging and weird new pieces for use with real life objects. Mattel also gave out a bunch of unsold junk, im going to the wrestling figure to some random person i see.

Well, I got my copy of All About Katsushi Murakami: Super Hero Industrial Design Art Collection in from Amazon Japan today, pretty darn quickly, too. Unfortunately, I got double-whammied by the big ol' sticker slapped across the cover and by the DHL guy. There's no way that bar code ended up right in that spot by accident. I imagine someone in Amaxon's warehouse got a good chuckle.

It rained all day yesterday and most of the night so I put a foot stool on the porch to put the package on since my porch takes forever to dry out. I also put a special delivery request in and asked the driver to leave it on the stool when I pre-signed for the thing. When I got home I found the package in the middle of the porch soaking up yesterday's rain. Thankfully Amazon packed like HLJ does and it was shrinkwrapped to an extra layer of cardboard.

The book is only a little wet, but if it warps to much maybe I'll just crack the spine and find somewhere to scan it. We'll see. I've included a few bad pictures of the incredible interior.

Wow what a great book I was going to order this but I just could not make up my mind.

If you could take some pics of the Megaranger stuff in that book I like to see if that ok with you thanks.

How are the double page spreads? I've heard some complaints that they're hard to make out, some of the image being obscured by the binding.

How was the shipping cost btw? Never ordered a book from Amazon JP.

I'll have to make myself a mental footnote so I can maybe order this book through HLJ in June when I have something else to ship, it looks really interesting.

It's really a beautiful book; easily one of the nicest pieces of the type I've gotten to date.

That is my one complaint with the book. The binding is really tight and the art goes all the way to the back of the page. Anyone who wants to scan this thing is going to have to completely pop the spine. I wish there had been a digital release, too, just to be able to see those spreads in their entirety.

I'll flip back through it when I get home from work. I didn't want to do too much while it was still drying out last night.

Not a single figure is broken. YES!!!!!! I also got a new Polaris and she doesn't have a single bobble head issue. Also, her cape doesn't seem to fall out as easily.

I'll post pictures and thoughts later, but right now I will say this, Cyclops blows chunks.
