I thought something was mentioned about this being the sequel to the Korean adaptation of kyoryuger....is this their first adapted version of the series?

Purple Bragigas looks pretty cool, though I'm not a huge fan of the excessive amounts of white and guns on the the other mecha.

A few of them have modified pieces, but they do look like repaints for the most part.

So they're just going to use the core 6 then? Ah, shame. Well, it is a bit too soon to say anything. But I do love how everything looks. Gold's design didn't change much. Not from what I could see.

Considering the breakage issues the BoJ mecha had AND the fact I own a plethora of Dino Charge mecha already...I think I might sit this one out. Still, kind of neat to see.

Can't say much about the zords, but boy, stegotchi is easily my favorite. That chainsaw extension is just awesome.

I gotta say...it actually looks and feels like a sequel to Kyoryuger, the production values are also pretty impressive I was expecting this to look pretty cheap.

Do we know anything about the creative staff? Are Sakamoto, Sanjo, and JAE involved, or they hiring all-new Korean directors, writers, and stunties?

I wonder why they did decided to switch the zords around? Now the helmets don't match their respective zords but I guess they at least changed the image of the dino heads on the suits. The zords look pretty interesting though even if they are just mostly repainted Kyoryuger mechs. I'm most interested in the metallic blue PteraidenOh and Purple Bragigas. Haha.

Also got a bit excited when I read that k-pop stars would be playing the Rangers then realized I don't know any of them. Guess it makes sense that they'd be members from lesser known groups as I can't imagine more popular idols having the time to film a series like Power Rangers or would want to at least. lol.

Sakamoto is the director and I saw Takebe at the press conference, so I would assume she's probably the producer on the Toei side of things.

I agree completely! I am honestly impressed. I feel as though they went through the hoops to get some of the old suits for use here, but they clearly went to the effort of getting new ones made! Saban better be looking at this! If you're going to do your own thing, this is the way to go!

The suits and Mecha differences are somewhat glaring, but didn't Kyoryuger imply that there were once more Zyudenryu than we actually saw? Also, they had a plethora of Zyudenchi in the show, which partly inspired Bandai of America to make toy-exclusive Zords for the Dino Charge toyline! Dino Force Brave is likely just following the same logic to the zenith of reason! This may incite a virtual shift in modern tokusatsu management and marketing!

A): What was Kyoryujin's name in Dino Force?

B): Did they mention the name of this Kyoryujin repaint?

C): Has Toei or Saban released a statement regarding their initial opinions?

Toei covered the press event. The show was produced by Toei staff members. They basically gave the "hey check out this awesome new thing" PR speak you usually get. Probably because the show's going to be coming to Japan eventually.

They opened a Twitter account for it, mostly to promote it as a Kyoryuger sequel.

So Korea gets a Sentai show which is dubbed as Power Rangers, which then gets made into a sequel that goes back to Japan under a possible Sentai name...talk about full circle.

We know what Saban would do if he used it, but what about Toei? Would they dub, sub, or adapt?

And regardless of who does what, twelve individual episodes at about 15 min. each works out as 180 min. total, or 6 individual 30 min. episodes, or a three-hour Movie Special.

Curious how either would use this, and more importantly, could this be a running change into how Korea treats Sentai/PR imports?

I doubt Toei would bother to adapt it just because it's a curiosity to have an official Sentai series with a non-Japanese cast.

They've already given it an actual Japanese name: Zyuden Sentai Kyoryuger Brave

It'll probably air on Toei Channel or one the other cable networks over there. A lot of the cast actually speak Japanese, so I can see them dubbing over their own characters if they decided to do a dub instead of a sub.

It's amazing what a white with Ranger-colored accents can do to improve a toy.

That freaking yellow accent made all these feel like Fisher-Price toys, now? Not so much!

Yes I agree this is a true sequel. I am loving everything about this Kyoryuger Brave. It just feels so good to watch more of one of my favorite Super Sentai shows. The new villains look really cool and very detail this is gonna be a great show to see.

Straight up looks like a legit sentai production. I thought it'd look like something like a Chinese sentai not that the Chinese sentai really bad but some of the production quality...the white dominant repaint tho... idk... I'll still give it a watch tho

They could have disguised the parasagun mouth a bit more. Even so, I think this is the most original of all the modified Zords. Very cool idea to give it an extended neck like a gallimumus or whatever it's supposed to be.

I just wish they had done different Dino's without resorting to the weapon strapped to face gimmick... such as just making the zords and rangers based on the extinct guardians - like my custom zords ;)

Not really, I think it's more like Zaido Pulis Pangkalawan being a sequel to Shaider. So in a way, no Daigo (thank God) and the others.

Goddess, I need these things to come out sooner rather than later. Especially the morpher and chargers.

That still goes to Zyuranger, unfortunately.
Power Rangers' 3 seasons, kickstarting toku interest in the West and there's a reason why Dino Force Brave is a Power Rangers series, not a Sentai :lol

A lot of things still owe their due to Zyuranger becoming Power Rangers, for better or worse.

I'm just kind of curious how Korea managed to get the ability to use the Power Rangers name and thunderbolt for their dubs of Sentai.

Cool idea. US could/should do something similar. The toys look like knock offs tho.

Fun fact, Lee Seyoung (Kwon Juhee/Brave Gold Dino) is a part of K-Pop group CROSS GENE and wasn't the first member to be in a Sentai (or Power Rangers) series. One of the groups members, Shin (who is a huge Sentai and Kamen Rider fan), was SILVER, the Dracula actor from episode 25 of Shuriken Sentai Ninninger.

Dino Force Brave seems really interesting. I do like the repaints and remodels, even though most of them now clash suit themes and mech themes. Can't wait to see this!
