Alright, first couple of BCRs pre-ordered. Glad that's off my mind.

But damn, looks like they put up a full set of So-dos. That looks like a pretty decent deal, too bad it already sold out. Not sure if I'm interested in them right now of course, but it'd be good to have the option.

It might have something to do with the provisional listing they'd posted for New Kamen Rider Action Figure. The prices don't match, though, so I dunno. I'd assumed based on the price that the provisional order was the SO-DO.

There's also a Shodo listing that's not sold out.

It's probably a full set like they started doing with the mini-pla starting with Kyuranger, a complete set of one of everything instead of a full case of 12 with dupes and all. It's true that the prices don't match though, it's exactly half the price the provisional listing was, but according to the HobbySearch one it should have 8. A decrease from 12 to 8 shouldn't result in such a drastic decrease in price.

Unless the HS listing is wrong and there's just 6 types. Or something. Who knows.

ugh, i was so busy at work today I didn't have a chance to stalk HLJ. I got my pre-orders but it's more than 10 hours after they went up. I feel like I'll probably be put on the restock and/or I'll miss out on the gashat D: Has anyone heard from HLJ on whether or not they'll be participating in the campaign?

Does anyone know the difference between DX and Gashapon Full Bottles? I preordered the Bottle Holder\Driver set but might change it to just the Driver if the DX is just a shiny sticker over non shiny like the Eyecons

Placed my pre-orders for the driver, bottle holder, the two BCR figures and the weapon

But may drop the weapon and bottle holder if I change my mind on them.

Also now have the gorilla and diamond bottles sitting in my pile of loot.

*wild guess* I could see the gasha and candy versions missing either the entire "shake and bubble" mechanism or at the very least the bubbling part of it. Rider gimmicks tend to have some physical changes. Eyecons had a cheaper less fluid turning mechanism and shift cars had to be rotated manually the complete 180°.

Even if that guess is right i wont mind

Honestly, Ex-Aid's SO-DO line burned me out, but if they're sold in sets going forward, I might be okay with this.

Yeah it wouldn't be a huge difference. If the bottles were lit while in the driver I would advocate for DX in that situation but as it is you can barely see it moving. Not being able to shake it would completely turn me off to the SG or Candy though.

In the last video that was posted in the thread you can just make out that the fluid piece in the bottle moves up and down when you crank the driver. It's most noticeable with the diamond full bottle since it's a lighter color of plastic. As far as I can tell from other videos you enable that feature by twisting the cap on the bottle.

Few quick notes:
1. Like Ex-Aid, you need 2 boxes to complete a figure. Instead of armor and body, it's A side and B side.
2. Rabbit and Tank will come with a dummy body that the designer hopes to only has to come with these two.
3. The stand and sword come with different figures.
4. Stickers are mainly on the legs and eyes.
5. There is a waist joint and a neck joint (the latter the bigger gimmick toys may not have).

I think we can customize Build black body into various new forms by repainting and some of modification :D

A better look at how the BCR figures work and for those wondering it's pretty apparent that there will be no head or waist articulation.

The lack of head articulation is disappointing, but not all that surprising. Still, I think I'm going to try and go all in on these, they seem pretty awesome.

Given the limited articulation, I suspect this will be another year in which the SO-DO line will be superior to the retail toy line.

The SO-DO Build in the just-posted display pictures looks pretty good. (That is SO-DO, yes? It looks just like it.) I guess this also gives us a firm answer on what the gashapon FullBottles will look like, being solid-colored rather than translucent with a moving interior.

Anyway, no, I'm pretty sure the metallic solid colored bottles are just the rare collectible for this year. The regular bottles appear to be translucent.

Anyway, I'm liking how the the Remix Riders GorillaMond is looking, the last picture we had of it made the brown look really red. This looks much more accurate.

So here's a question: how does one go about buying any of the SO-DO premium sets? I already checked Toku Taku, and no dice.

The fact that they chromed the entire bottle makes me wonder if my earlier guess could be right. Why spend money on the piston gimmick if no one will see it? It could still have the liquid piece inside so you can shake it but I'd be surprised if it had the ability to be actuated by the driver.

SO-DO Build wave 1 boxes 3 and 4 are Gorilla and Diamond. They come with the stand and the drill sword weapon thingy instead of the dummy body. Release date for wave 1 is 9/25/17.

A Santa Full Bottle, this year's Christmas collectible! It's Best Match apparently starts with C and is white. Build Rider News is speculating the other bottle is Christmas, but I think it's more likely to be Cake, given the color and the fact it'll likely be sold with the Christmas cake.

Nah, I think Christmas is more likely, with the Best Match form changing it to 'Santa Claus' (like Soubosha and Harinezumi becoming 'FireHedgehog')

Cobra is BloodStark's FullBottle. It doesn't have a Best Match.

I don't think that's too relevant. Christmas forms are special, not wholly unlike Legend ones. There's at least one Legend Best Match that makes use of a bottle outside of its normal Match. There's no reason they couldn't use Cobra the same way for Christmas.**

I hope DX Transteam Gun can read all Full Bottles so this weapon has various sounds.
