Damn, no Psycho Silver.

I'm going to need Psycho Red, for being my Main in Power Rangers Legacy Wars lol.

Here is what upsets me. Bandai says buy to get more Legacy items, and they are wildly successful and then they seem to skip the Shogun megazord....at least for now. They should have at least mentioned it in some way(Unless I missed it).
I do my best to buy the action figures and they are good, not great, but good. So many here are on their high horse, claiming they never bought the Legacy Rangers but will buy the Psycho. I know money is a touchy subject, but if you want something and are remotely interested, as I tell my dad, " You must buy to have." You want the Psycho Rangers, then support the line. I know BOA can do better as I mentioned above, but it looks good, the Legacy Figures do, you are a fan of PR and you want more, then buy the Space Rangers. You have to show Bandai, it's more Power Rangers than MMPR that can sell. |
I've been meaning to get my hands on some legacy figures for a while. The only thing that turns me off about them is the proportions. Those steroid muscles, small waiste, huge boobs look ugly af

Some follow up.
- Legacy Zords do NOT combine, stated in panel they wanted to give fans a cool display of the individual zords to have with their figures - Alpha 5 is the Build-A-Figure in the Psycho wave for 25th Anniversary reasons. A different character was originally pushed but lost out to Alpha 5 for 25th Anniversary reasons - Megazords will continue in the Build A Figure series - Dino Thunder figures not on display as they are in China being deconstructed to begin manufacturing - The missing tip of the collar of the Legacy Zeo figures ... stay tuned for clarification, one company says it's getting fixed, another says it is not. - Just because Shogun Megazord wasn't announced or shown doesn't mean that it's not coming. This show happened at that weird time in the development process where a lot of things are in approval stages and can't be shown, and other things just aren't physically present to be shown. That's all I got. Don't expect much more from Bandai on my end as I do not get the feeling their current staff likes me and thus don't really care for any input I have to give or insight I can share. Their loss. |

Eh, wouldn't be the first time. |

But weren't the roided muscles always a complaint among fans? It's kinda odd to me that they keep them for a dedicated collectors line. |

That said I too am excited for the Psycho Rangers. I have a headcanon where they are similar to the Ginyu Force and such if I get them I want to do them in the Ginyu Force team poses. |
Well, now that I know the LEgacy zords won't combine, I'll just wait until I can afford the SoC one.
|
And I also just noticed Psycho Pink comes with the Savage Sword that featured in the Lost Galaxy episode where Kendrix died.
|
If it's true that the Legacy Dinozords don't combine then I have zero interests in them. I have both the Legacy black and gold Dino Megazord and Soul of Chogokin Daizyujin. I do not need these.
Legacy Titanus sold horribly? Then why the hell are they releasing a black and gold re-color? They better come out with a Legacy Shogun and other megazords after. I'll be pissed if black and gold Titanus is the last we see of the traditional megazords in the Legacy line. I have four Legacy six inch figures. I am not impressed. They are stiff and oddly proportioned. If this is the only line to continue under the Legacy name then I am done buying Bandai America figures altogether. |

Well, they already have all of the development cost out of the way with Titanus. The reapint is likely just an attempt to get some more profit out of the mold.

Legacy Tor is an item retailers do not want as it is not seen as iconic and there is no real play pattern or play value to it aside from combining it to other, not-on-the-shelf items. Can't sell the item if no one is willing to buy it to put on their toy shelves. |

Like with the next Legacy Megazord. They're likely at a point in development where they know certain things, but the important things aren't solidified enough yet to actually talk about anything. In that position I wouldn't blame someone for possibly being annoyed by the inevitable stream of people at SDCC asking them "Where's the Shogun Megazord?". |
The Legacy line is really boiling my blood at the minute. It started off with such promise but I honestly have no idea what Bandai is up to recently. I can't tell if they've lost interest or if they've just gone absolutely crazy.
When the line started there seemed to be a clear line-up of releases that were being set up in chronological order but now they just seem to be releasing random bits anytime, anywhere! I don't want Bandai to waste their time, money and resources on black and gold re-colors. The original Megazord was a nice touch because of the original 90's release but I could've easily lived without a B&G Dragonzord and especially Titanus. I'm going to be super pissed if they then waste even more time by doing a B&G Tigerzord, Thunder Megazord etc and the Movie Morphers were a complete waste without Ninja coins! My opinion is that they should've really focused on their chosen area (which has obviously been MMPR) and just released items from that era without doing stupid rereleases etc and then moved on to the next PR series. If they'd done that we probably wouldn't have been left with bits and pieces and not complete sets. For instance it would've been nice to get a Shogun Megazord, Tor, Pink/Black/Blue/Yellow/Green/White helmets, the other Power Weapons... Instead we've now got random Zeo items starting to creep out, Legacy Figure madness, ridiculous items like the new Legacy Zords that aren't really going to do anything, out of place Legacy 2017 Movie items. After the release of the Ninja Megazord my wishlist would've been... Shogun Megazord Tor Serpentera 5 inch Ninja Ranger figures Ninja coins Power weapons (complete set) Pink/Yellow/Black/Blue/Green/White helmets Yellow and Black Movie morper That should've been their focus to completely wrap up MMPR and then move on to Zeo and give that their full attention. |
From what I gather is Bandai America wanted to do a Legacy Tor but it would cost $500 retail. It wasn't practical. They should just re-release the old mold with paint instead of stickers as it's already compatible with the Legacy White Tigerzord and Thunder Megazord. That's what I use is an original Tor. It works great.
I completely agree the repaints are a waste of time and money. I don't even know if I want the b&g Titanus. I do have the other b&g so I might get it in hopes of seeing the Shogun Megazord someday. We really should be on Turbo/In Space right now. It's around their 20th anniversary right now. The repaints set it all back. They should use the Legacy line to celebrate anniversaries of each season. I am an avid megazord collector. I don't own many ranger figures so if the megazords stop at b&g Titanus or Shogun then the Legacy line will be dead to me. |
One of these days they should do a 4-feet tall SIC-esque Daijinryu/Serpentera.

So am I missing something, or are the Zeo things and green ranger helmet the only things on display? It seems like the showings this year are pitiful. Not just from Bandai, but from a lot of companies. Mattel's booth seems to have shrunk 70% of what it was last year.
