Sounds interesting! Would it be one Rider with forms based on all four seasons, or multiple riders themed after different seasons? Maybe a plot where the seasons are falling out of balance and the Riders have to restore them (which also involves fighting monsters... somehow)?

I was listening to The Megas and thinking it would be easy to make a Kamen Rider inspired by Mega Man, but that would basically just be Zero-One if you mixed in some elements from Drive and made the "Aruto is a Humagear" rumors true XD

What about the tropical dry and wet seasons?

But while the US and Japan are considered to have four seasons, if you look at Hindu beliefs there are 6 seasons due to Monsoon and Pre-winter.

Could be fun to have a Rider based on stuff like Hunting/Fishing seasons.
One based on the rainy/windy season Maybe even a sports themed extra rider (baseball season, Football season etc..)

Again i think the hard part would be figuring out some sort of super and final forms for the four seasons, but since seasons can be used to refer to more than just Spring Summer Autumn and Winter it would certainly be fun to just sorta play up on the various 'seasons' each set being its own rider basically.

I can't draw, but I tried using a dollmaker to make some concept art for Kamen Rider Shining! To go with the "fairytale" theme, all the Shining riders have eyes styled after butterfly wings and armor resembling a knight. And since Shining herself is themed after Red Riding Hood, I gave her a helmet styled like a hood (I imagine it being more like Wiseman than Ghost) and a short shawl, with a bit trailing off the back to be like the classic red scarf.

In the spirit of the season, I've also thought a bit about what the Christmas shocking twist for Shining would be. Like Ex-Aid and Saber, it revolves around a yellow Rider, but this time it's not a death! Shining, Charming and Dashing go to the world of The Little Match Girl. At first the hero riders assume Dashing is there to ruin the story on E.N.D.'s orders, but it turns out she's actually working on her own to save the little match girl! There would be moments in previous episodes to hint that Dashing isn't all evil, but this would be the first we see of her actually being good, and it's also the event that makes Shining start really questioning her beliefs, since up until now she'd fought to keep stories the way they were written.

(Some overall changes I've made since last talking about the story: Dashing becomes a Kamen Rider while still working for E.N.D. and only breaks away from the group later. I've also made Dashing a woman as well as Shining because I want more female Riders and love edgy tough-girl types, and promoted Swashbuckling from move-exclusive to third-quarter villain because I just love the idea of a pirate Rider so much.)

Well, it took me all day but I used the dollmaker again to create Shining's entire henshin sequence! It looked a lot cooler in my head, but I think this gets the point across. I also tweaked her design slightly.

One minor nitpick would be the fairy since it does look like the head would get in the way of the wings folding.

Ha, I know that struggle! For every one idea I actually do something with, there's several others I forget ^^ If you do ever come up with something like this, whether artwork or written, I'd love to see it!

You're right, the design I had in mind was tricky and ultimately I had to make some compromises with what the program has available, so it ends up looking a bit awkward. How I imagine it working is that the head is the button that activates the fairy's noises, so it's supposed to get pushed down when the wings open or close.

Your Shield Fairies (are you still calling them that?) seriously remind me of origami for some reason. Also, you could draw little indents in the wings so that when the wings fold over the body, the fairy 'body' will just be neatly laid underneath the wings 'indents' or 'gaps' or whatever they're called. I know some real DX toys do this (unfortunately I'm currently blanking out on examples).

I remember coming up with a rider idea years ago I know i jotted some of it down.. .but that was on an old computer so sadly it got lost. All i really remember was the villains were animal/plant hybrid tihngs. And the rider had a heavy technology theme like a fire focused 'disc burner' form. But if i ever get an idea that i can actually flesh out some then i'll definitely post it.

And yeah I totally understand I could tell by looking at it more or less where you were going with the wings folding over and it was mostly something done for more of a 'proof of concept' type rough image rather than a perfect image of what it would look like prop/toy wise. But i figured a minor nitpick/criticism was a little better than just going on about how cool it looked. Naturally its just a minor issue when i look at it and noticed those corners of the wings would of had to fold Through her head. Naturally a prop and or toy version would probably have the corners 'cut out' in a sense to allow the wings to fold over better but that would reveal a bit more of the face.

Could always have a 2ndary hinge on the wings so when you fold them over you could flip over a section of the wing to cover the face. Or a little slide bit that you can just slide maybe with a lil lever on the side of the wing. So fold wings over then slide the levers to cover the face and complete the shield bit. But considering what you had to work with it does look great.

Now, I am not sure about most of the parts, but here is the basics.

Kamen Rider DJ
Kamen Rider DJ is the classic civilian by day, hero at night trope. Except he is a rather famous DJ.
Using the DJ Discs and the DJ-river, he becomes Kamen Rider DJ. The DJ Discs are put onto the DJ-river's Turntables to get new forms. Each form is based upon Music Genres (Pop, Classical, Heavy Metal, Disco, Hip Hop, etc). There are two main types of DJ Discs, Rider Discs and Music Discs. The first slot is where the Rider Discs go and the other slot is where the Music Discs go. It works sort of like a combination of Gaim, Ghost, Ex-Aid, and Zi-O with Main Rider Forms and Armor. The Labels on the DJ Discs show the form on them. DJ's Main Rider Disc plays his Show Theme. For The Legend Rider Discs, each of them plays the main theme for that Rider (like EXCITE for Ex-Aid). They are all Rider Discs and give them Forms based upon that Rider. The Two Discs play two songs, the Rider Song and the Music Song. The Music Songs are based upon the Style from the name of the Disc. You scratch the discs to use the attacks and scratch both to do the finisher.

The Main Weapon is the Boosted Buster. It transforms from the Bass-Boosted Blaster and the Treble Boosted Blade. They both boost the Bass or the Treble of the Disc put into it.

The Rider Machine transforms from a DJ Turntable to the DJ Motor.

I think there should be a Secondary Rider called Kamen Rider Mixtape who uses Cassette Tape-based Collectable Devices which I don't know what the name of them will be.

Most people don't know that the identity of Kamen Rider DJ is that famous DJ.

This was just a brief summary. I may add more, later.

Oh, that reminds me, I thought of what the Legend Rider forms for Kamen Rider Ruin would be. To recap, Ruin is a rider in a post-apocalyptic future, with forms adapted to survive different disasters and dangers. Each form follows the naming pattern of "[Rider name] in [disaster]," so for example Ruin in Cyclone, Ruin in Blizzard, etc.
And the Legend Rider forms would be named after disasters or major threats from that rider's season: Saber in Wonder World, Zero-One in Daybreak, Zi-O in Ohma's Day, etc.

In the future, they should do a rider series like Lupinranger vs Patranger.

Either a lycan/werewolf vs vampire theme or a angel vs demon theme.

I would go for the angels vs demons! Taking inspiration from Goseiger & Devilman. You know how 555 went with Takumi & Kiba being a rider & Orphnoch.

There will be two riders on the angel rider's side as well as two riders on the demon rider's side.

Maybe they could be fighting over the Seven Seals.

You know, this sounds kind of fun, so I'll drop a few ideas here and maybe some art, depends how things work out. So I'll start with something original.
-Name: Kamen Rider Royal. Main color scheme is blue and silver. Main body is black with silver and red stripes. Helmet is reminiscent of Thouser and Cross-Z with a lion's mane and light blue eyes. Right shoulder pauldron with a lion's fur adorning it. Has a thin blue cape behind the pauldron with the emblem of his RegaliaCrest situated on it.
-Driver: KingDriver. Shaped like a castle. Has scabbard.
-Key Item: RegaliaCrests. Banner shaped gimmick, probably with a scroll-opening function that reveals the banner.
-Weapon: Regiscepter. A scepter that also works as a sword (Think Ultraman Geed Royal Mega Master) The Sword uses the RegaliaCrests' powers to perform attacks, while the Scepter uses them for various abilities, such as defense or casting spells, and would be used outside of combat.
-Rider Machine: GrandStallion. Reminiscent of Ryuki's Final Vent, but as a blue and silver Pegasus. Can change into a flying mode and fuses with a mech (Because it seems like Reiwa Riders are going to have mechs.)
-Alternate forms: Similar to Zero-One's forms, as the powers form over his base form. Dominant Gorillord, red and orange gorilla-like armor with large fists and bulky shoulder pads, helmet becomes more rounded with the crown and eyes barely protruding, heavy form. Sureswift Eagalia, white and teal eagle-like armor, fur design is replaced with feathers, wings appear on helmet, back, and across his arm and leg armor, gold talons spread across the body, flying/speed form. Wisened Owlearner, purple and green owl-like armor with a more robe-like appearance, with long sleeves, coat, and collar, helmet adds a pointy wizard hat with stars onto it, rainbow(?) sash across chest. Power-up and final forms will be updated later.

I'll probably add story, characters, villains/monsters, other riders and illustrations at a later date. I even have an ideas pitch for a potential 50th anniversary Rider series.

Here's some more info on Kamen Rider Royal:
-Story: Since ancient times, monsters known as the Garvaleans, have fought Heroes and Gods, filling humanity with fear. But hope was found in a Savior clad in armor, who united humans and Garvaleans under his banner restored order to the world. As time went on, the heroic deeds of the savior and the horrors of the Garvaleans soon faded into obscurity.
Now in the modern times, the defeated Garvalean Emperor, revived and sought to make humanity kneel before him once more, and strike down his nemesis, the armored Savior. But that is not the only threat the world faces. An ambitious human warlord, created a replica of the Savior's great relic that gave him divine power, created an army of magical warriors to give him the power to rule over humanity.
With the balance slowly shifting, the Savior makes his way towards the island nation of Japan.
-The Garvaleans: Monsters who existed since the Age of Gods. They saw humans as weak creatures and decided to make them bow before them, as they were generally considered Gods among men. Their Emperor was defeated by the Savior, who sealed the Garvaleans in the Underworld. After centuries of confinement, their seal weakened, allowing them to escape. Though the Garvaleans were mostly hostile towards humans, there were many who fought alongside the Savior and continue to follow him.
-The Savior: A lone hero given a legendary artifact created by the Gods to defeat the Garvaleans. He was capable of leading humans and Garvaleans, with the powers of majestic creatures. After defeating the Garvalean Emperor, he ruled as a King, in a great castle in Europe, until he and everything he ruled vanished. In the present day, the current wielder of the divine relic is the son of the previous Savior, who, along with his castle and servants, dwell in a world outside of the real world. He is eventually given the name, Kamen Rider Royal.

Very interesting! Especially the bit about some Garvaleans fighting on the side of humanity, that adds a neat twist to the usual ancient-sealed-monster type of enemy. I can imagine a heroic Garvalean making a good second or third rider, perhaps with an artifact designed to refine or focus their natural powers...

Thanks! I wanted to try doing a different take with the monsters for this idea, kind of like Den-O, the servants from Kiva or Morgura Beastman from Amazon 1974, with some good guy monsters and some humans as antagonists to break the formula a bit, since I like to play with that kind of stuff, also, it will play into the story. I'll probably post the Secondary Rider next.

Secondary Rider, or perhaps Rival is more appropriate: Kamen Rider Eikou (Glory)
-Design: Like a Japanese Daimyou. Red and gold armor, while main body is dark red with black and white stripes. Since he's a replica of Royal, the design is similar in places, except for the form looking incomplete, think Kamen Rider Vulcan and Valkyrie, with part of the armor being absent. Helmet is adorned with a Samurai helmet with a dragon head in the center, only the left eye is visible, like Chaser from Drive, while the right is concealed similar to Ouja or the other Ryuki Riders. Right shoulder has a large shoulder pad with a dragon tail draped over him like a scarf and a thin red cape with his emblem on it.
-Driver: Like the KingDriver, but based on a Japanese fortress, maybe looks incomplete with some exposed mechanics visible, like the Build Driver.
-Weapon: Naginatana. A katana that connects to a polearm he carries on his back to form a naginata.
-Rider Machine: None, but uses a mechanical dragon as a mount to soar through the skies,
-Forms: Like Royal's but more akin to Japanese armor, changes head crest. (Names are subject to change) Fuketsu no Kame, green turtle-like armor, gives him a shield and heavy armor, defense form. Kitsune no Mahoutsukai, orange and white foxlike armor, similar to a Japanese priest, nine fox tails are draped across the armored areas, wears sleeves that open like fans and a canonical hat, magic form. Graceful Crane (I don't have a Japanese name for it yet) Black crane-like armor, with wings adorning his scarf in place of the dragon tail, ribbons on right arm, wears a kimono only won from the waist like he's bare chested (Except for the armor) talons? One of his Powerup Forms will be a complete version of his base form, maybe a little more detailed.
-Extra Detail: Royal's driver might have a voice that speaks English, while Eikou's speaks Japanese.

Again, he might be more of a Rival than a Secondary Rider, still working on that. More coming soon!

Gimmick Items: Gunnery Badges - Essentially a badge-like trinket about the size of a Ridewatch which is slotted in the middle of the belt. Upon transforming the badge opens up like a saloon door revealing the logo/emblem of whatever form used.

Weapon: Gangun Revolver- Basically a revolver with multiple firing modes.
Rider Machine: Machine Gunner

Forms:

Sheriff Revolver - Base form
Sheriff Gatling - Long(er) range combat
Sheriff Dagger - Melee combat form
Sheriff Dynamite- High firepower
Sheriff Magnum - Super form
Sheriff Star - Final form


Secondary Rider: Kamen Rider Zorro
Weapon: The Sunzan Saber
Belt: Sheriff Driver with double badge adaptor and using Outlaw Badge and Saber Badge

Enemies: Outlaws- Wanted alien criminals that are currently residing on Earth to fullfil their various goals.

The call for it will be "Fusion Ride" like Ultraman Orb & Geed's "Fusion Up" & "Fusion Rise".

I like the idea of a fusion Rider. I've posted some fusion ideas in the Reiwa Rider thread, but here are some of the ones I came up with:

I also have a 50th Anniversary Rider draft I might post here. Though I can tell you, mine is more of a return to formula, with some of Fourze's original plot.

It's not fully formed, but I have an idea for Kamen Rider Visit, a Rider with forms based on landmarks. The collectables are Sekai Marks, translucent spheres with a globe texture on the outside and an image of the landmark they represent on the inside. I haven't decided on the plot specifics yet, it's either a globetrotting treasure-hunt to find the Sekai Marks and keep them from falling into evil hands, or a rebellion against an evil organization that has isolated Japan from the rest of the world and imposed a new sakoku or "closed country" rule. Maybe one of those plots for the show and the other for the movie?

The globetrotting treasure-hunt idea could also work for a rider based on treasures and artifacts instead of landmarks, basically if Boukenger was a Kamen Rider plot instead of Sentai.

Just a little idea for what I would make for the 50th Anniversary Rider:
-Name: (2 Ideas for the name) Kamen Rider Legas or Kamen Rider Shingo
-Design: Based off Ichigo's first appearance design, with black being the main color, with light blue armor and magenta eyes, similar to Ichigata, with the design more in line with Sango, but a little more futuristic and modern (The idea of him being like Zenkaiser was an idea, but didn't want to copy him.) Wears a red muffler with a white stripe, Ichigo's logo(?) Red and gold accents on parts of the suit. (Undecided: "L" on mask. L being the Roman Numeral for 50, standing for Legas, or Legacy.)
-Driver: Legacy Driver (Kamen Driver was tempting.) Reminiscent of Ichigo's belt with more detail. Center opens to insert henshin item. Plays a quip from every Rider's opening?
-Items: Rider Masks (Undecided) Replicas based on previous Rider Masks with their emblems.
-Weapons: Uses masks to utilize past Rider's weapons. May have a unique weapon being a mask that turns into a sword.
-Forms: Legacy Riders. All have his muffler and stripe, but palette swapped for each Rider's color. Incorporates details from their various forms, some forms being based off their own forms (Zi-O's form is based on his armor forms, Gaim arms, Build combo.)
-Rider Machine: Kamen Cyclone. Based off Ichigo's Cyclone, but more streamlined, possibly different model. Has Ichigo's color scheme, eyes and antennae on the front. Can be modified to work in various situations like in W.
-Story: Takes place in a world where Kamen Riders inspired works of fiction based on their heroic deeds, (like Heisei Generations Forever) But now, a mysterious group known as Kaizer, has decided to hunt down the Riders and end their legacy once and for all. The protagonist is a young man who has an interest in Kamen Riders, gets captured by Kaizer who plan to use his knowledge to create an Anti-Kamen Rider. But he is rescued by a Kamen Rider (Ichigo?) and escapes, only to be attacked by Kaizer's Servants which forces our hero to transform into a Kamen Rider. His goal is to find the Kamen Riders' memories, which are recorded in the Rider Masks, to overthrow Kaizer.

It probably won't happen, but I thought I'd take a crack at it. I wanted to incorporate some of Fourze's original concept into this, along with a return to format.

Zi-O + Decade? It'll be used as an upgrade or super form. Cause was thinking about with Ultraman Orb, Geed & Z...

- Ultraman Orb: Origin (True Form) & Orb Trinity (Ginga + Victory + X)
- Ultraman Geed: Ultraman Belial + Ultraman King = Royal Mega Master
- Ultraman Z: Delta Rise Claw (Zero Beyond + Geed + Belial Atrocitus)

The two fusion riders - protagonist & antagonist? Their forms will be opposite to each other when with Decade & Zi-O.

Protagonist: Like Orb Trinity in some way for a super form: Rider's true form like Origin combined with Zi-O & Decade.

Antagonist: Demonic Fusion Ride with Oma Zi-O & Decade Violent Emotion.

As for Blade & Hibiki? I wanna save those when Blade gets a combo from a tarot card-based rider and Hibiki with a combo from a music themed rider.

That goes for Kiva & Ghost, if they'll make combos with a demon rider & an angel rider due to a "VS" theme like Lupinranger vs Patranger.

Ah, I see. I was thinking something similar with the Ultraman influence, though the Lupinranger vs Patranger element never occurred to me. Also, my mindset with Rider themes for the fusions probably isn't perfect, since I've only seen (Full series) Decade onward, mostly, with Rider shows, save for Ryuki which I recently finished, so my knowledge on Rider is somewhat limited. Either way, love your idea.
