IIRC I once saw something about how someone pitched Power Rangers Cyber Corps which would have frankenstiened together Go-Busters and I think Gosieger. It would have taken place on Miranoi. And the big bad would have been Venjix. Who would be revealed to be the Venjix from Forever Red as well.
Well considering how badly that went when they tried it for Super Megaforce, I don't know... But I'm thinking Toei might be trying to get all the shows used one way or another.

I suppose it could be because they felt all the others had too big problems, with TQuoger's trains not being popular stateside, Zyuohger's suits and mecha not looking appealing for US audiences, Kyuranger having too many characters, and Nick's writing not being up to the moral complexity of two heroic ranger teams on oppossing sides... But I prefer my first theory.
So what's next, Hasbro uses connections to Toei and Marvel to put out a figure of Leopardon?

These last few days have been a wild ride of unexpected news. If you had told me that Bandai and Saban would break up on Valentines Day, Hasbro would swoop in and become the licensee, and then we'd get an adaptation of friggin' Go-Busters of all things I would have called the police because that amount of lying has to be criminal.

I was looking forward to Kyuranger but uh, I'm okay with this.

Also, that logo kinda reminds me of something like Beast Machines but I can't place it

Okay so we might get the first Evil Rangers in Power Rangers since it returned to Saban in Beast Morphers.

In the age of the internet where you can literally predict everything that's going to happen incredibly accurately thanks to leaks, this is one of the biggest surprises I think I've ever seen.

All we need now is for the actual show to be any good. I think Hasbro would want the brand to convey a positive message in their first season in charge so the show needs to be good, although I suspect it will be the case of "good enough to sell toys".

This is gonna be interesting. I was pretty invested in Gobusters and have most of the zords and morphers as well as all the Figuarts so I probably won't be in it much for the toys but I am very curious how this will all turn out.

This is doubly shocking given that I vaguely remember an article stating that Kyuranger was the first sentai to have Saban involved in developing the design and the concept to guarantee a more marketable power rangers adaptation.
It also seemed like they were building to potential connectivity between Ninja Steel and Kyuranger with multiple references to the Lion Galaxy which would tie in nicely with Shishi red.

I've heard Saban wanted to do that after Zeo but Toei wouldn't let them skip Carranger.

Bandai of America was involved in development for Kyuranger, not Saban. However, this does bring up the question whether or not Kyuranger will be adapted at all now, since Beast Morphers will be the first Power Rangers series under Hasbro.

You may be on to something here. If I had to guess, Saban probably WAS planning on adapting Kyuranger next after Ninja Steel had concluded, but because of Bandai of America's poor reputation with making Power Ranger toys, that may be why Saban switched over to Hasbro and probably why we're getting Go-Busters next instead of Kyuranger.

In all honesty, I'm kind of happy Saban decided not to adapt Kyuranger. The thing about that Sentai is that having TWELVE Rangers in your show doesn't give a lot of time for each character to be fully fleshed out, especially when adapting it into two 20-episode seasons of Power Rangers.

Help guys, I think I'm trapped in some kind of weird dream world because there's no way Go-Busters is getting adapted into a Power Rangers series over half a decade late and with toys by Hasbro. Like, seriously, what the f*** is going on here?

Huh. Interesting. This does now open things up again in terms of speculation. Though I wish they would, I doubt they'll drop the two-part series. No idea what the next series after this will be (ToQ if they're filling in blanks, Kyuranger because it's recent and could be great for merchandise, probably not LupinPat yet but who even knows now...)

I can't remember what the deal is with movie footage but the Dobutsu Sentai movie could be used to amusing effect here.

Go-Busters is one of my all time favourite toku shows so I'm super excited that we'll be getting new toys. (And maybe the show will be good?) Don't let me down Hasbro!

Go-Busters makes a lot of sense considering the primary mecha is a triple changing bot with a car and cheetah mode.

Bandai of America had a (very limited) hand in the design of Kyuranger. Not Saban. Now that BoA is out of the picture, Kyuranger is no longer a lock for adaptation.

I really liked go-busters. Now if only they could avoid butchering it by trying to frankenstein two series together that would be great.

I love super sentai because of what it is: A watchable show combined with a tv commercial, all I want is power rangers to be super sentai, but with americans.

Which it has been. Wild Force and Samurai are straight-up translations, more or less.

It can be MORE than that, though, like with In Space and RPM. I'm hoping that, since this is obviously going to be an RPM sequel, they're going for RPM style for Beast Morphers.

I can only hope this will be a good thing. I am excited but we don't kniw if the show's quality is going to be changed, which is the primary problem of the franchise right now.
