The armored Action Body is a generic base that will most likely be used for every armor except Fourze, OOO, Gaim, Wizard and Double (and Decade which probably goes without saying). For the armors that the two of them share (presumably all of them but those five, though we'll see) the Armor Sets will probably just come with both heads, since the rest of the parts are identical. There's a reason the update didn't show the usual set breakdown for the reveals; presumably they were hiding the Geiz Build head.

edit: forgot to post this, it shows the entire set 1 lineup, which we already know has seven types. Zi-O, Geiz, their respective armored bodies and the Build Armor Set account for them neatly.

How are people getting the Cross-Z RideWatch (if at all)? With Tokucollectibles out the only places I've seen it guaranteed are the markups on Amazon and eBay. Does anyone know of anywhere it's still guaranteed, either separately or with a package?

Hm. The blog only showed the Zi-O Build parts, leading me to think that reflected the total box contents. Perhaps they're saving the Geiz stuff for the next article, which they indicated will be about Geiz.

Right, right, but I mean there are some online stores that do already have a lock on a certain number of the promo items and sell them separately, or as part of a package. For example it's selling separately on Amazon and eBay. There's also the Toys 'R' Us Japan pack that is supposedly guaranteed to have it. But the stores that I've seen selling it guaranteed have a hilarious markup so I'm wondering if anyone knows of anywhere that's still selling it for a less inflated price.

What the hell, is the Cross-Z Ridewatch not a DX one? k2eizo's video had one and it acted like an SG toy would, no lights and sounds only play when pushing the top of the watch

As a rule, most campaign items (which are not explicitly labeled as DX) are not DX, even if only nominally. The PMAX Gashat, Build Gashat, Lock Fullbottle, none of these are actually DX items, even if they mostly work as such. The promos that advertise for them usually make a point of including a disclaimer that their specifications differ from those of the DX series products in some way. The Cross-Z watch is no different, although yeah, it seems like it's farther apart from the DX versions than previous campaign items have been. I suspected no lights since it hadn't been shown, but the stuff with the sounds is kind of weird. Will have to see more reviews.

This one used the Cross-Z one, flipping the Driver doesn't make it say sounds but pushing the top for the finisher made it yell Armour Time

That's what I mean by the difference sometimes being nominal. In the case of the Lock bottle, there isn't any difference (unlike the electronic items, there was no disclaimer on its campaign stuff, which I guess makes sense) but it was still never labelled as DX in any official material. I don't know why they did it that way at least for this one, I guess it's just how they operate with the campaign stuff even when it does match the DX.

Aaaaaand all of a sudden my urgent need to have that RideWatch goes out of the window...

EDIT: I liked the way this was handled for Ex-Aid with the campaign items all being Proto Gashats. That way it's still a unique product, but it didn't interfere with regular versions of those Gashats being released at retail. The release of this item pretty much guarantees that we won't see a DX-quality Cross-Z RideWatch at all.

So apparently Geiz and Zi-O have armor time sounds for themselves when their ride watches are inserted upside down in the armor time slot. Though it seems to work better when it's Geiz used upside down, cause the video above showing Zi-O armor time to geiz was a mess of sounds.

Oh... dear. I was excited for the Rider Kicks line, but those are TINY.

Still interested in the line, but yeah, they're disappointingly small. Was assuming they'd be the same size as standard, not an inch or so shorter. Explains the lower than usual price.

Yes it isnt DX as it has no light and the sounds are linked to buttons on the back of the watch (like non DX lockseeds) but when interacting with the belt it works the same, just the button on top of the watch is a dummy so no need to press it

The watch display stand is interesting. I wonder if it's just a display item or if it'll have some plot significance like the Pandora Panel?

Oh, gosh. I preordered Zi-O, Geiz, and the Build Ride Armor since the past few retail Rider figures made a decent-ish stand-in for my Rider displays until the Figuarts version showed up. That... will absolutely not fit. I suppose that with the Ride Armor on, it'll look a little more size-appropriate, but UGH. I don't object to smaller figures in general, but that's pretty much the only reason I preordered these.

On the plus side, it looks like figures can move more in their Ride Armor than I'd imagined. On the minus side: oh, god. It's stickers on a retail figure. *shiver*

I strongly suspect it will, which I suppose means the Pandora Panels sold well enough. For what it is, it looks fairly cool. With some metallic paint, I can see it as an in-show prop. I'm guessing it's not a coincidence that it comes with the Den-O Ride Watch, as Den-O is one of the two prior Riders most appropriate to have plot significance in this series.

With Toku stuff, that's never a coincidence. So it likely plays a factor in that kind of way. So it is an in-show item, but isn't something quite like Pandora's box where it was the entire plot mcguffin.

Well the aftermarket prices on the Cross-Z RideWatch sure spiked. Not sure if that means they're in shorter supply than expected or if the re-sellers are just cashing in on new show fever.
