Skip to 6:44 in the IGN video I posted. It shows the Megazord ultra. The Dragonzord missiles, aren't a zord ultra. They're his super. The stomp and tail drill are Dragonzord's ultra.

Yes. It's not character based. The stream showed Jason with Goldar as his zord ultra.

Seems the release date may have changed. The pre-order pages still say April, but everywhere else just says 'Spring' and when asked, Nway is being very vague about release date and saying they can't comment. Hmmm.

In better news; they said there'd be actual news to be had in next monday's final Morph Madness stream, so that's nice.

That's so cool! I would have preferred a different Mystic Force character because I love the capes, but at least there's one character from that series in the game. Not a favourite series of mine or anything, but I figured their magic will make things veeery unique!

This is an interesting trend of the only non-MMPR characters in the game being extra rangers though, aside from Gia. I hope they throw in a Blue or a Pink or something from a different series.

a big reason why that is is because, by design, extra rangers/heroes are incredibly easy to market, and they also tend to have more unique powers when compared to the other rangers, who usually get a unique weapon, or not even in some cases

That's true -- the extra rangers do tend to be the ones with the much more interesting designs, but doing things this way makes it feel a bit... I dunno, locked in? Like it isn't the random assortment this should be.

So release dates just got announced. It's... a LOT sooner than I thought. Guess I'm giving up that MMPR Green V2 Skin.

Bit bummed US PS4 is the last one in the line up. I have a Switch, but I think all my friends that would play it with me would only do so on PS4.

Tbh, I think this game would've worked better as a purely MMPR game. I think people would be more receptive to not only a smaller roster but significant Boom representation if that was the case

Yeah probably passing on this game, it looked promising but it's clear that it needs more time in the oven.

That's my thoughts too. The gameplay honestly looked great and I was actually digging the character selection so far since I'm a fan of Boom's comics. But only 9 characters for a 3v3... even for the game's low price, that's just too little. I would have been just fine with 15 even if one or two were clones -- as is I'm just gonna have to give this a pass. Very disappointed in what I see.

It turns out the artbook contains concepts for not just Zeo Gold and Mystic Force White, but also Time Force Pink and Black Dragon Trini. This is... interesting.

It could be that they're in the game as unlockables and Nway just hasn't communicated that to us - they are legendarily bad at communication, so I wouldn't put it past them - and it could be that they're DLC or were cut due to pushing the game's release date forward. Either way those 4 characters don't match up with how DLC is supposed to have 3 characters, so it does stick out as odd. I guess we'll find out tomorrow if any of them are still in the game....

Say what you want, but I honestly really like these. Black Dragon armour is one way to bring in a unique heavyweight and I wanted Trini in the game in some form; and personally I just loved the Liongate movie. I'm surprised anyone from that movie is in though; with how the new one in production seems to have no relation, you'd think Hasbro would want us to forget about it...

It most likely is Movie Billy, they just aren't calling him Billy, just in case they add MMPR Billy to the game in the future.

Ended up buying the $20 version of the game. It’s not bad. I actually do enjoy it but that character roster.... yikes. It does get a bit boring after a while playing with the same characters.

That doesn't mean anything, because Zordon's suit the movie looked the same as Jason's suit. The move set for this Blue Ranger will most likely be the same from Legacy Wars. Also no the suit isn't different, it's just people can notice the brighter colors now.

They are most likely saying that the 2017 Movie Rangers will now be called the Cenozoic Rangers.

This might get me to buy the game. They just upped the character count by 33%, which was one of my 2 hesitations.
