I can certainly see the difference between the two, though it isn't quite pronounced enough in my eyes. I'll probably pick it up though. I have the original Seihou but it's hanging out with my Kuuga/Agito stuff. It'd be nice to have one to specifically display with my Decade riders.

From the videos I've seen of the original, it does look a deal more metallic to me.

Why even be upset? Why complain? Just don't buy it and go about your business. It doesn't hurt or affect you for this thing to exist. It's just a glorified reissue that lots of people will be down for.

My only hope is that it'll lead to a Shinkocchou Seihou Rising Ultimate figure.

Yeah I know Kuuga's other forms haven't been done etc. but THAT'S the unique Kuuga I'd want for a Decade display.

It's kinda weird that Figuarts re-issues are just so rare that people can be conditioned into thinking a re-issue is a cashgrab.

Meanwhile Takara's re-issuing MP13 Soundwave and they've re-issued a metric ton of their other Transformers Masterpieces before, and this is a good thing because it provides collectors another chance to get their favourite figure without scalpers completely ruining everything.

I don’t have the OG SS Kuuga so this is a great chance to add him to my main rider collection :) I just hope I don’t miss out on the preorders when they go up.

I'm bummed that this rerelease isn't the Kuuga version, but on the other hand I guess I save some money.

It's funny, it wasn't always this way. Like 3 years ago Tamashii used to reissue 2-3 items every single month. I vividly remember looking forward to them posting what items were available for pre-order next month to see if they would reissue anything I still needed.

Nowadays? Almost nothing. The few things they do reissue are either repainted, retooled or rebranded. I guess they now have the mentality of going forward and either completely redo a character or if old sculpts are used at least change the paintjob and/or packaging.

Yeah, Takara does it right IMO. Although the MP line moves at a much slower pace than Figuarts, which is understandable.

The same way it took 10 years or however long to get base Kiva meanwhile they kept releasing new forms of everything else.

Hold up, is SS Kuuga seriously that valuable? Agito must be the cheap one then.

A quick look on Mandarake gives me 18,000 to 20,000 JPY (aka $166-$184). So anyone saying this reissue is pointless when it's a third of the price of going market value is kinda missing the point.

Exactly! I don’t have the first release of SS Kuuga and I do want to add him to my collection...what is stoping me is the after market price. This Decade version is an instant buy for me as I get to up to $150 and that I got into Kamen Rider by watching Decade first so that was how I got to see Kuuga for the first time :)

Either way it’s a win win.

AmiAmi was a mess, and I couldn't even find it on HLJ.

Hopefully Bluefin can release him, so I can maybe get him from BBTS or GS.

Massively disappointed I couldn't get an order in. Spent over an hour messing with Amiami trying to get it. Pre-Order button was live for like 45 minutes and clickable, but would continually tell me it was sold out when pressed. This is two Seihou pre-orders in a row that I haven't been able to get through them.

Much like how people hoped the popularity of OOO pre-orders will mean more OOO figures - and hopefully at retail - I hope these sites crashing sends a clear message to Bandai that yes, we like re-issues, please do more

But I guess OOO will be reissued once the first Combo is available, to advertise the gimmick.

Well, just like with OOO, that somewhat blows.

If I’d camped out waiting for a pre-order, I’d likely have ended up in the same situation as Den-O (TokuNation’s Den-O, that is!), knowing my luck.

I guess I’ll resume buying SSs once they make enough for the pre-orders to last longer than mere minutes....

Luckily I didn’t want Kuuga but I've got into the same issues with OOO. Seeing the pre-order button and clicking it only to get to a screen that tells me I can’t buy him was soul crushing.

I'm not even gonna bother with AmiAmi next time; I try my luck elsewhere.

Yeah, I'm lucky in that I'm not interested in Kuuga since I didn't like him much in Decade and I haven't seen his series yet.

Just watch, I'm gonna watch his series and love him and sorely regret I didn't pick this up.

My goal is to at least have the main form of every main Rider, so even though I've seen neither Kuuga nor Decade, he's high priority for me.

A lot of times I don't want to pay upfront, which is why I love HLJ and AmiAmi. When I am able to though, I always go through Tokullectibles...who doesn't even have Kuuga up.

It’s a bit of an outlier - less of a blueprint for Agito and onwards (other than perhaps pre-retool Hibiki, where Takatera also tried to do something somewhat unique) than a show like Changerion (Which, TBF, I also very much enjoyed). It’s quite slow-paced, has as much in common with a police drama as KR and the ancillary characters feel more fleshed-out than in some Rider shows. I loved it, and it led me on to broadening the range of Japanese shows I watch.

Bewtween Kuuga and Decade I've only watched Decade, so that's mostly why I want him (though I have Agito and still haven't watched that ...). It's just super irritating being up and online in time to buy, and then not being able to because the site doesn't even work. I made it all the way to choosing payment finally, after trying for 20+ minutes, before Kuuga was out of stock.

Try the AmiAmi Japan site next time guys.

I got in after the sold out message showed on the English site (15 mins in).
Took a while but was able to make an order at about 24 min mark.

Also, try the Amazon Jp ( sold by Amazon Japan G.K). I got Kiva at retail price from Amazon.

Be warned there may be no pictures immediately but if it's from amazon its legit.
