But I'm also skeptical if even half of these will release. I would say Den-O is certainly a safe bet, as well as the Zero-One stuff obviously. I'm not so sure about the rest. As I said before though, Shinkocchou Seihou stuff has a pretty good track record of seeing a release...eventually (aside from Nazca), so maybe there's some hope here.

I think I'm most shocked that they even bothered to show Mugen though. I don't think anybody was expecting it to ever come out, so the fact that it's here actually makes me think it will release.

And another note, I think Den-O's existence basically confirms that the other Riders will eventually get remade. I actually think Den-O was one of the better of the old releases and didn't look terrible next to newer stuff, so if he's getting remade, Ryuki, Faiz Blade and Fourze are definitely getting remade too.

While taking a screenshot works too, you can also mess around with inspect element to get to the original picture, I find it’s often bigger than what IG will show you.

They've been going pretty full force with OOO so I would expect to see these all release eventually. I'd exclude the Bike but even those have had a good track record so far. I think it's weird that they'd have Dark Kiva just randomly there as the only Kiva thing if they weren't going to release it, so that's a very fair bet too. And obviously Den-O and Zero-One are essentially confirmed.

... which brings me to Kuuga. I would have said that forms that minor would be the least likely to be released, but just like Dark Kiva; it's very random otherwise for them to just be there as the only Kuuga thing. It... looks like we're gonna be getting these in some form. Awesome!

In regards to Build stuff, this is like the second time in a row we've seen Prime Rogue so at this point, yeah, think it's gonna happen. Metal Build and Cross-Z Evol are a bit more suspect, but given how prominent they are in the display; very possible.

I honestly think Mugen, Hyper Muteki and Genius are all going to happen. I just... I don't think they'd show them like this if they weren't going to, and even though Mugen seems like the least likely, the fact it's front and center makes me think otherwise.


I think it's good to keep in mind that while the "it'll never get released lol" has been a major factor for Tamashii in the past; just about everything they showed last year (aside from a very small handful of random minor stuff like Turbo Lazer Shakariki) got released, including ones people thought were completely unlikely like the Three Crows and Rabbit/Dragon.

So, genuinely, I think we're seeing a turnaround here. Pretty much everything they showed off is major enough to get a release. To be quite frank there's actually not many surprises here: OOO and Zero-One in particular were a given, we knew these would happen eventually and it was just a matter of actually seeing them. Den-O, Dark Kiva and the Kuuga forms are the most surprising ones and I think those are all gonna get released, so... yeah. Mostly, this is just extra confirmation of expected stuff.

Everybody here, right now, needs to place orders on Dark Kiva when he's available and then maybe, just maybe, we can pull Saga out of Figuarts purgatory.

Bigger picture of our new, much welcomed bat glass shard overlord. I wonder if they’ll change the eye color or if it’s a lighting thing. Because I’m pretty sure Dark Kiva’s eyes are more greenish.

Dark Kiva is also odd to release now if they wanted to go by original Figuarts release order, too -- there, it went Ixa, Rising, Emperor, Dark.

Question while Dark Kiva is still on the mind, but who do people consider the be the definitive Dark Kiva? For me it's the Bat Fangire himself, but I know there are some people who would say Otoya (who I consider Ixa of the past, first and foremost).

(I'm still bitter that Taiga dropped Saga so he could use Kivat the 2nd)

Some of the SS releases lined up with the original Figuarts release order, but I'm skeptical that that's something they'll keep up.

I'm a little surprised they're remaking Den-O before Fourze, but even with just the one picture available, Den-O looks fantastic. I was happy enough with the existing Den-O, but he just doesn't look right next to the other Shinkocchou Seihou Riders, except maybe Kabuto. (Kabuto looks a little off, too, I think because somewhere around Kuuga, W, and Decade, the SS line sized up.)

Of what's been shown, the only ones I'm determined to get are Den-O, Valkyrie, and OOO ShaUTa. I was curious to notice that when they showed off the... um... BattleRiser?... they didn't suddenly display the weapons (Attache Sword, Attache Shotgun, Jin's and Horobi's things) that we've been assuming would be packed with the bike. Makes me wonder if they'll do something unexpected.

Given this is Day One, I wonder if there'll be additional reveals. They've unveiled a ton already. I've still got my fingers crossed for Fourze by the end of the event.

Ultraman stuff starts at 10:17, Kamen Rider at 14:10.

I noticed Ultraman Tregear has a Premium Bandai tag, so they already know that they will sell him, just not when.

I also realized what bothers me about Den-O... the eye-pieces are way too far apart. That needs to be fixed until they put it up for pre-order IMO.

Dammit, I just got the Riders Kick Den-O a couple weeks ago. *sigh* I figured guys in the RK releases wouldn't get SS figures anytime soon, meaning Fourze would be the next (Neo)Heisei main rider to get the SS treatment. Well, what's done is done.

I really need to get Tajadol, Muteki, and the full cast of Zero-One (minus bike). I really hope Vulcan and Valkyrie at least are mass release.

Vulcan definitely IMO. Valkyrie, well... they have the tendency to release only one of two Riders at retail if their style is similar, like how Cross-Z Charge was retail but Grease wasn't.

On the other hand, all of these 4 Zero-One Riders appeared very early and Valkyrie is a special case since she's the first female Rider that is this important since the very beginning of the show. I want to think they are both retail, but logic tells me that Vulcan is retail, Valkyrie the first Web-Exclusive, and that either Horobi or Jin is again retail and the other exclusive.

Only time will tell though.

I know it's a prototype and it'll be 10 years before they release it, but Grand Zi-O looks amazing!

I'm almost surprised, honestly, that we didn't see any Seihou Final Forms. Especially Hibiki, since with these 4 Final Form announcements today (and Kiva Emperor being a thing in Figuarts' early days), Armed is the only Final Form to not have been given the Figuarts treatment.

The "no final forms" problem extended beyond the mainline, Seihou's only had Kuuga Ultimate and Kabuto Hyper so far. Bring on Decade Complete and W Xtreme!

Define most. The Rushing Cheetah Progrise Key comes with the Keyholder, but what else? Her action figure, vinyl, plushy etc. are all sold separately like every other toy from what I’ve seen. Same with the Lighting Hornet Progrise Key.

Call me a little bit spoiled because these reveals have been fantastic (even got a renewal for one of my all-time favorite Rider suits with Dark Kiva).

I personally prefer Taiga as Saga than Taiga as Dark Kiva.

Kengo = Ixa
Otoya = Dead
Taiga = Dark Kiva

As for Dark Kiva, I've had him with the Jacorder in hand always in my display, that's how much I wish I had a Saga haha. But really, I do associate it more with King. So that's even more of a reason for them to give us a Saga so we don't have to dual purpose Dark Kiva haha!

It bugs me to this day as to what happened to Saga's arsenal after Taiga abandoned it. Plus Taiga himself is stated to be Snake Fangire, so Saga fits him better.

Ahhh I remember the time we saw a Saga prototype. Sadly though, if he comes out, he'll likely be a Seihou web exclusive.

I must agree, it was a very strong showcase this year for both Kamen Rider and Ultraman and I'm very pleased with that.

Plus, I genuinely feel most if not all of these will be released sooner than later. Not all in 2020 obviously, but still, I don't think I'm looking at a sea of prototypes with no hope of release here.

Yeah, the vast majority of these are major suits in some form or another.

The most minor ones here are some of the OOO combos and the Kuuga forms. But we've already seen that they wanna go all-in on OOO with the likes of Gatakiriba and friggin' Human Ankh; and it'd be sort of weird for the Kuuga forms to be the only Kuuga stuff there if they weren't going to do anything with them. At worst I could see only Growing form released and none of the others.

There ain't any Shakariki Sports or Type: Vegas here, just about everything's got a chance.

Thing about the eye color is that it always has been depicted with an emerald tint, the same shade of green visible in Kyoryu Green and Ryusoul Green's suits. But in this case the reason it looks more blue than usual is probably because the figure is under cool/low temperature lighting.
