Just, right now I got the opposite problem of being stuck in a slump so to speak. Really need to get back on my Power rangers story at one point. Might look into what exactly you've written. |

I love that it's an episode of Saber, where the main Rider is also a writer (a Kamen Writer? Aruto ja naito!), that's bringing all the fanfic writers out!
And it's kinda making me want to start writing fanfic too... |
I think what also helps in that regard is that Touma is very relatable in his writing struggles.
There were so many "Mood" moments during the first quarter when it came to him and writing. |

About time the Villains finished a book. I don't know if it's just me, but I always find myself hoping to see the Villains weekly evil plans actually succeed for once, mostly because I want to see the consequences of failing to save someone (Though Saber did mention this last episode, which was something I was glad to see) and so that the Villains aren't just making new cannon fodder every episode. Speaking of cannon fodder, where have the mooks been lately?
And Buster, despite being a very minor Rider in comparison to his peers, is still enjoyable to watch, especially that moment he crushes Saber, only for him to absolutely tank it, but not without taking a load of damage. It was great to see Touma take out the Meggido in civilian form (Yes, I know Saikou dealt the finishing blow) and seeing everyone react to it made for a nice moment. Next week: Primitive Dragon finally debuts! Gosh, that suit looks great. |

Less superficially, I also think Ogami's actor brings a great energy to his role that makes you believe there's some depth there despite how straightforward and simple the material he's been given is. It's a very convincing performance. I mean, he comes to pick up his kid from school or whatever in this one fully armed and I didn't even stop to question how weird that must look to passersby at first. :lol |

hahha. I agree with all your comments. I know I possibly have a reputation for being stern about what I see to be the show's failings, but I like to think I'm also considered fair though, as when I like something, I go out of my way to talk about how much I like it, and I really, really like Buster, and I really think his actor makes him thoroughly come alive in a way that is charming and inspiring, and genuinely makes me think of Fujioka Hiroshi's performance... as Segata Sanshiro. :p No, really, I think there's a lot of callbacks to the mannerisms and charms of Hongo Takeshi in the way Buster is portrayed, and I love that, because it's almost the suggestion of what some of those older characters might have been like after the fall of Shocker, and Badan, and Gorgom, and Google, and every other evil organisation, and what they might have been like if they'd just been allowed to settle down and raise families too. I've hijacked this thread, sorry. tl;dr I think Buster is great. *rips off her jacket to reveal a t-shirt declaring "I <3 OOGAMI RYO."* |

Forgive me this following reaction: when Daishinji's character was first introduced in the show, I literally squealed with mirth and delight at the prospect of young, unsuspecting people opening google and typing the words, "Kamen Rider slash." |
Me, a fan of everyone; and whose favourites are Tassel and Ren:

I have been trying so hard to be as big a fan of Kenzan as I am of all the others, but he's yet to click with me on any visceral level. I legitimately like just about everything they're doing with him conceptually, even; he just refuses to make me feel things. I did think the "Maji!? Nai~ wa..." bit at the start of this episode was pretty cute, though. |

Also, I happen to love their designs as Riders. |

Anybody else have Blades as their favorite Swordsman? I like how Rintarou cares openly and sincerely about his friends, putting their welfare above his own and doing everything he can to help them. We need more homosapiens like him.
