Daaamn! SS Agito! How'd that cost you?? Also, I just gotta now what Chalice looks next to a modern figuart lik Brave over there. Back then I had thoughts of picking it up, but the pinhead bothered me. I'll prolly just wait for a SS Release somewhere down the line.

Chalice... I mean, the proportions are definitely a little less accurate than a modern Figuarts. But it'd only ever be noticeable if you have him posed in a rigid, neutral pose, straight up and down with his arms at his side. Why would you ever pose Chalice like that, though. When you've got him ready to pounce, not only is his more exaggerated physique not that noticeable, it actually makes him look cooler? He's lanky in all the best ways, with this wide stance and outstretched arms. Like I said before, his build here is maybe inaccurate, but it's what I think of when I think of Chalice. Also, you can get him for around 4000 yen, and I think he's absolutely worth it. |

A few bookmarked preowned items from Amiami I checked off my list. - Figma Gridman (Primal Fighter) - Figma Gridknight - Figuarts Kyoryu Greeed Dr. Maki's a great piece sculpt-wise and I'm surprised at how accomidating his shoulder articulation is to work with his torso design. Not hindered at all. His only big issue is his ankle range going forward. It's not as much as he'd need to stay stable so he requires real specific posing to stand without falling over. Outside of that I'm glad to have an OOO villain since Maki's one of my favorites. Figma Gridman and Gridknight are absolutely fantastic. Sculpt and paint are aces but the articulation surprised me. I figured there'd be shortcoming but I can't really find any. Arms are multi-jointed to ensure full range of motion, necks are designed to extend forward for more options for positioning, torso has great range of motion and the hips are only hindered going far out due to the armor design but can move in any other direction fine thanks to some ball joints between the hips and thighs. I'm glad I finally have Gridman reps I'm actually happy with. |
The Figma Gridman figures are legit great, glad you've enjoyed them! Wish they'd continued to make other forms, or at the very least a Kaiju Anti figure.

Another pretty neat few packages came in today!!
- A very generous friend sent me their Cybertron Vector Prime along with a couple other neat Transformers I was wanting - My first order from Kotetsu toys! The main thing here was the Max Ultra Medal which I couldn't find anywhere else; but I also took the time to pick up Dyna and Gaia's Ultra Medals, an OOO Eyecon (one step closer to a complete OOO item collection, and pretty relevant to me right now if you look at my avi) and a couple gifts for someone else -- and then they threw in a Gorilla Fullbottle and a poster of one of my favourite Rider movies. Neat! - Shinkocchou Seihou Kamen Rider OOO Tatoba Upgrade Se-- er, Ratoratah! After my Tatoba's Tora Arms ran into that fairly common breakage issue, I settled on getting this over a direct replacement for a few reasons and I can safely say I'm VERY happy with my purchase and have been playing around with it all day https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...104/image1.jpg https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...266/image0.jpg https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachmen...972/image0.jpg |

Y'all keep tempting me to start collecting the Legends Items for Kuuga.

i need to rewatch go-busters so bad Quote:
- When it comes to the Rider Cards, well, the only way to get those is as a full set with the Decadriver. Thankfully, A) When it comes to wanting pre-W cards, it's very easy and cheap to get an original or super best DX Decadriver as far as DX belts go; and B) The Decadriver is the best Kamen Rider changer there's ever been, so you're hardly getting a raw deal with that :p - Gaia Memories for some reason seem to consistently be the most difficult thing for me to track down. Unless I'm really missing something here every site I've checked is very low on supplies for them even compared to other past gimmick items. - Signal Bikes are the second worst because they're Premium Bandai only! There's either the full set for an extortionate amount of money, or one of three sets which has 5 Heisei Riders each plus a Showa Rider. - Eyecons obviously have not been an issue for me, but when it comes to Kuuga through Decade those ones were a Premium Bandai set like the Signal Bikes. So watch out! - I believe the same goes for the Gashats? Aside from that, the fun thing about tracking down these individual DX releases is that mainline items get VERY cheap and easy to get over time -- you can find a Kuuga ridewatch on Manda for 500 yen or so, I find. Some of these are painful enough you might just wanna exclude them altogether unless you get lucky, but otherwise it's very nice and rewarding to see all the items together! |
I'll be sure to keep all that in mind should I ever give in to temptation. Thanks!

I have collected all the Legend Rider Kabuto stuff. Some stuff I thought I'd never find but then they would just randomly show up on eBay or something.
Also, the store owner of https://www.kotetsu-toys-japan.jp/ takes requests and can find the stuff that came in sets. That's where I got the Kabuto Signal bike by itself rather than the full legend rider set. |

Turning out to be a pretty Robot Toy-heavy month, literally. -Transformers Kingdom Core Class Megatron and Starscream (Basically done with this size class. Tried these two and the Optimus, and I just don't dig them. A little too finicky, where the transformations aren't that enjoyable, and the high amount of ball-joints makes them none too sturdy.) -Transformers Studio Series Blurr (Okay! Borrows some steps from the Titans Return version, which was one of the best figures in that line, while adding a few twists to make it all look more cartoony. If you've already got the TR version, this isn't a huge enough improvement to recommend. If you don't have that one, this is fun little toy.) -SH Figuarts Masked Rider Kaixa (I like him a lot more than the Faiz from this line. Really good proportions, tons of accessories, and nearly every pose has an inferred smirk on his face that I want to slap right off.) -Transformers Studio Series Jazz (A totally basic carbot that doesn't really have any flaws? The backpack unbalances him a little bit, but otherwise he's a good meat-and-potatoes toy: fun to fiddle with, nothing you're going to rave about.) -Transformers Studio Series Grimlock (Really nice Grimlock toy. Hefty as you'd hope for, and a decent improvement over the PotP version. The robot arms are a little weird, where they need to bend in two different directions at two different points to facilitate being robot arms and dinosaur legs, but that's a minor quibble. Really good chunky Grimlock.) -A box that's a blast to carry up three flights of stairs, where every turn smacks a corner into something a.k.a. Transformers HasLab Unicron (Arrived today, haven't opened yet. The box has handles, which I definitely appreciated. A+ handles.) |
I got the Deluxe Star Wars Black ROTJ Boba Fett

Time for my monthly haul!
https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...76&oe=608158CA Legend of Korra Steelbook Set. Korra season 3 is the best season in the entirety of Avatar, don't even @ me. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...e1&oe=6083DA8C D-Arts Terry Bogard. Holds up as an incredible action figure even today. Which is good, since Terry is one of my favorite fighting game characters ever. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...36&oe=6083CCFF Cyber City Oedo 808 and Mechanical Violator Hakaider. Haven't seen Hakaider yet, but Oedo is a great OVA that you should all check out. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...17&oe=6083AE41 Both versions of the Robot Spirits Turn X alongside the Moonlight Butterfly effect set. With these, my Turn A Gundam collection is complete unless they one day make a Gold SUMO figure, which I hope they do! https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...0a&oe=60849E16 Stand decals for the Nendoroid Winnie the Pooh and Figma Gridman made by bd15decals. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...cc&oe=6083CF90 Seihou Blue Kuuga and Green Kuuga. Interesting thing to note is that both figures have a slight metallic finish to them, meaning they technically fit in better with the Decade release of Seihou Kuuga than the original. Not a big deal, and I still can't wait for Purple and White to be released. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...8e&oe=6081B315 Custom hair pieces for SHF SS3 Goku by Orange PE Productions. Honestly have no idea how Tamashii could hope to top these. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...d5&oe=608328F4 Spawn Kickstarter Trilogy Pack. Incredibly disappointed in these to be blunt. Like, I'll still keep them unless I get desperate for money, but I expected alot more, and alot of the creative decisions made for these "figures" leave me very confused. I hope the Medieval Spawn Kickstarter is alot smarter handled. https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...4b&oe=60824513 Not exactly a recent purchase, but a Gunpla a buddy of mine and I built together. I think it looks good! https://scontent.fdet3-1.fna.fbcdn.n...77&oe=60824B03 And last but not least, some wave effects I got thanks to help from Deepsea. Thanks again! |

Got my CSM Delta Gear and Primitive Dragon WRB
Love the Delta Gear. The voice activation is great and works well as long as I pay attention to my pronunciation. The quality of the CSM belts has been amazing. Primitive Dragon is great. The look is just so metal with the bony claw grabbing the book put inside. The voice clips are good, with ‘I wanna get the force’ (In English!) sounding a bit silly. |

https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ExbKx4TX...jpg&name=large Got Blades in from Amiami. Surprisingly, getting him from them through DHL was probably the cheapest option I could find whether I wanted him now or wanted to wait until preorders came in. Had him on preorder on BBTS which would have been around $65 or so after shipping and tax. A local retailer got him in with a free shipping option but his price was increased by $10 and would have come out to $85 after taxes. Amiami with DHL shipping put him at $61. Perfectly fine price for me and shipping only took a day. |
Did you ever say to yourself, "This month is probably a good time to slow down and cut back"
... yea me neither Non-Toku first: Shipped out a couple items from BBTS Vintage Collection Star Wars TIE Pilot, Death Trooper, Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker, and Marvel Legends Retro Spider-man. Always fun to get troopers and this is best Return of the Jedi Luke available at this scale right now. I'm keeping the Spidey on the card to better appreciate the throwback. I think for many of us, the 90s show was our gateway to both Spidey and the bigger Marvel universe https://i.imgur.com/zatCZV1.jpg So hey, it looks like I'm jumping on the So-Do train now Hopped on Bluefin's sale for the Golden Power Kuuga set ... https://i.imgur.com/kpfTivw.jpg ... and Kuuga Mighty & Ultimate form. Thanks Die for hooking me up with these! https://i.imgur.com/XMcRli0.jpg From Zenmarket, Zangetsu Shin and Jimber Gaim. The decision to include only angled hands for handling the bow is questionable and makes for some awkward poses, but these look great regardless. Hoping to make resin casts of the Jimber armor for all the lockseeds https://i.imgur.com/h5adDb2.jpg To be honest, I could've probably gotten these cheaper from Mandarake; but I needed to pad out the rest of my non toku purchases to get the most of the shipping cost. But on that note, https://i.imgur.com/W9vwWdp.jpg These stands are such a great idea. Chunky and bright, they really add an extra layer to your display. Because ... you guys ... https://i.imgur.com/EGkpnTT.jpg Seeya next month |
Not all have actually arrived, buuuut round two
So-Do AI 5.5 finally arrived (thanks Deepsea) Ultraman Geed Primitive Figuarts Ultraman Geed series/movie set Gundam Bug and Budubing set So-Do AI 02 So-Do Vulcan Rampage Gatling Heavily buffing my Zero One collection this month. |
Ok I made sure this is the right thread this time, so here is was the Creeper Spearichu got this month so far.
Kingdom Dinobot - Awesome toy, great if you like to take pictures. Kingdom Ractonite - nice skeleton soldier, think of him like those decrotive suits of armor that you see in media in mansions. Also makes nice weapons, had Dinobot dual wielding him as a hammer and spear/lance. Earthrise Military Two Pack Earthrise Patrol Two Pack Mega Constructs Krabby - Adorable, have him in front of my tv high fiving my Sableye. 30 Minute Mission Ciel Nova (White) Two accessories packs that give the Ciel Nova a jetpack and needle face. Mom found at a second hand store a brand new Universe Brimstone minicon that I didn't know exist. My brother (Fuck You Casey) got me the Rozen Zulu Clear version in the Theater Exclusive box from what I can understand. He got me this because he knows I hate Gundam Unicorn designs (for the most part), so he got me the one suit with annoying noodle stickers that happens to be purple. The clear plastic scares me. After getting so very little of it done because thin ass noodle stickers are a pain to put on and stay on when you have sweaty hands because the room is hot. Decided I will hunt down an ultra fine tip silver paint marker to do the white lines. Wish me a lot of luck as this kit seems to require some force to put things together which is scary when its eight year old clear plastic. New Gundam Breakers for the PS4 - Game is ok at best don't pay full retail price for it as the story is generic crap and the fighting has too much going on that makes it less fun when you have to do all these other tasks as well or else you still lose even if you defeat the opponent. I got the game for $15, decent price so don't pay more than that. Tokyo God Fathers Blu-ray/DVD - Good movie was amazed when I saw it in Walmart and with an English dub. Here is hoping the dub is good. __________________ |
