Got an Entry Grade Zero-One Rising Hopper Kit and an HGUC RX-78-2 Kit today! Each was roughly $13 at Game-X-Change.

I have the B-Fighter figures too and they are probably my favorite figures in my entire collection.

I always see a few people insist that the movie riders need to be replaced when honestly they still look and function fantastically.

I think the only apparent drawbacks I've noticed are ZO's shoulder pads looking awkward in some poses because of their connection to the torso's shoulder area rather than the arms and J's ankles being a bit hindered.

Outside of that, both them and Shin still hold up extremely well.

When it comes to replacing for me, its usually just the fact that the older SHF are slightly out of scale or have some odd proportions. My SHF Mach is suuuper skinny looking when standing next to an SS.

I actually got him for $70 through a Kamen Rider facebook group. That's about the price I see him on Mandarake, but I basically saved on shipping! Now I gotta get the other two movie Riders lol

Hit up Daiso when I saw they had display stands for basically 2 bucks a piece.

A single one's basically 3.5 inches wide with each step being about 1.6 inches deep, but they line up together perfectly if you have multiple. I definitely wanna get more since each of my shelves can hold up to 6 of them with a sliver of extra space on each side. Wanna get some more to even out my Showa and Secondary/Tertiary shelves and clean up my Sentai shelf.

Good looking crews! I'd maybe quibble with putting Lazer on the Secondary/Tertiary Rider shelf, since he's the main Rider for Kamen Rider Ex-Aid (nice of the show to make Emu feel better by putting his name in the title), but everyone's collection is their own! Nice work!

Daiso has some online offerings but they're primarily brick and mortar. They're a Japanese household goods store that has some locations in the states.

Daiso is great. They are the Japanese equivalent to the dollar store. Just entire sections of things under 500 yen or so. \

The closest one to me is in Flushing, NY. When it first opened, I picked up some great acrylic display stands for $2 that have since been discontinued. I've never found anything as good and I wish I just bought a dozen of them at the time.

I'm really hoping I can go back in a week or so and try and scoop up another bunch. I bought the 8 they had on the shelves but I'd want another 10 to make things even across three shelves.

Recent stuff I opened!

TRANSFORMERS STUDIO SERIES SCOURGE: A much beefier Scourge than I'm used to dealing with (dude is perpetually a Deluxe-class figure, not Voyager-class), but with a predictably simple transformation. Scourge's cape folds up around him, delivering the bar-of-soap spaceship everyone expects. It's a really solid action figure (he's got weight and presence), and sort of fun to play around with. There's no exciting moment to his transformation, but nothing frustrating or compromised. I like him.

S.H. FIGUARTS KAMEN RIDER NADESHIKO: Nadeshiko is the rare female Rider, so I'm excited to have a figure of her, but the execution isn't perfect. The neck joint is a little long, giving her a slightly unappealing silhouette (that head looks like an antenna topper). Still! Flawed Nadeshiko is better than No Nadeshiko, and I like owning a Nadeshiko figure.

S.H. FIGUARTS ANOTHER AGITO: Much like Gills, I think this suit translates pretty well to toy form. Not my favorite character on the show, despite the best debut of any Rider ever (DOUBLE SURGERIES!), but I didn't pay a lot for him and he looks nice. An okay figure!

SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU MASKED RIDER DEN-O SWORD FORM: I talked about my initial impressions of him in a different thread (not crazy about him), but after a couple more days I'm a little more into it. Took some time to try out the Gun Form form-change, and it's remarkable simply and effective. Nothing I'm going to mess around with regularly, but it allowed for both forms to look good. I still don't love the slightly compromised articulation (there're some Sword Form poses this thing can't quite nail), but I still think the sculpting and paintwork bring a great suit to life. I'm appreciating this figure more every day.

SHINKOCCHOU SEIHOU KAMEN RIDER BEAST: I tried for a while to get his hands into his Ready To Eat pose, and I just couldn't do it. His arms can't come in enough, and the provided hands aren't flat enough. That was a total bummer. Once I let that go, I enjoyed what this figure offered. Amazing detailing on his driver and rings, plus an overall premium look to the figure. Happy to have him in the collection!

Man, Alpha Edge looks really good back there... How's his red? It looked like a darker and deeper red in product shots, but I've seen pics where it seemed lighter.

$58 would be a more than generous offer for Den-O, right? I've been staring at this one seller selling his lot of SHF Riders and had not one, not two, but three SS Den-O's for sale on that price.

I picked him up at wholesale (one of our vendors offered him and they actually managed to fulfill the order for once), so $58 was about what I ended up paying last year. At that price, I like him just fine. If you pay that, he's worth it.

It's a figure that goes for about $65 opened (or $70 sealed) on Mandarake, so $58 is a not-too-amazing discount. If this one seller won't deal with PayPal, you'll have plenty of options down the line to grab it for around the same price. He's not hard to track down for less than retail.

Got another Mandarake package today. I definitely need to wait a little while before another another one of those, gets expensive. Got another SIC, New Den-O this time, as well as SHF Takeshi Hongo for the Kamen Rider 50th anniversary. Also threw in Transformers Cloud Roadbuster, because I can't resist Unicron Trilogy references. Only unboxed the Rider figures tonight, saving Roadbuster for tomorrow. New Den-O, despite somewhat limited articulation, was pretty easy to get in a good pose, while Hongo resisted my attempts to get him into his Henshin pose, so he's just standing there so far.

Okay, okay, this must be a sign, because I was browsing a vendor's site, and they have SIC Faiz available, and I love Faiz, but I don't know anything about SIC figures and if they're any good.

And then you just got a new SIC figure. And you posted about it. Like, minutes after I thought I'd never know anything about SIC figures.

This is a sign.

Talk to me about SIC figures! Aesthetics aside ('cause those are pretty obvious), how do you find the quality? Are they prone to breakage? Are they sturdy when posed? Do the accessories stay attached? Any big problems that I should be aware of? Tell me what you know!

Older SIC figures I find tend to be a little more brittle now. But I recall reading somewhere VOL.40 (starting with Den-O I think) and beyond have that problem fixed.

All I know tho. Saw a Putotyra for $60 back then (it's still on sale tho haha) and was tempted but that was before SS OOO was announced and I had troubles thinking of having a larger-than-normal OOO on the shelf.

This is only my second SIC, and my first from the original Chogokin line instead of the newer Colosseum line, but I'll do my best. Like Raizin said, the stuff pre volume 40 is more fragile, something to do with them using ball joints for every joint. Seems the Ryuki ones are especially infamous for knees shattering while still in package. The oldest ones are little more than statues, they gradually get more and more articulated over time. The Den-O era stuff is pretty decent from my experience with this guy and other stuff I've read. By the time you reach Colosseum era, they've got all the standard articulation you'd find in something like a Marvel Legend or a Star Wars Black Series, plus a little extra. Nothing above and beyond, but there's nothing essential lacking. Coliseum Kuuga feels a little light, but Chogokin New Den-O is fairly hefty. Only chogokin he has is his wrist and ankle cuffs, but they add a premium feel. New MacheTeddy feels pretty well held in the sword hand, it's flexible enough to push it between hid thump and fingers, but once it's held it's solid enough to not feel like it'll move much. Kuuga's only accessory is a display stand of the corpse of one of the Grongi minibosses, the second grasshopper guy. Only other issue to be aware of is that I don't feel like the Colosseum stuff is worth the $120 retail price. I could see $90 max. I got Kuuga for 5500 yen thanks to a slight scratch on his flat black base that he also comes with, and New Den-O for 4000 yen, and they're extremely worth it for that price. If you're looking at the 2020 version of Faiz, I wouldn't recommend you pay much more than $90, he tends to go for around 7000-8000 yen on Mandarake, which seems like a fair price for an 8 inch retail figure with a transforming BFG accessory. Hope that covers everything. I'm pretty new to this line, but I'm having a lot of fun with it so far. Got two more figures I'm hoping to get soonish, Kamen Rider Joker, who last I saw was listed for about 4000 yen, and Kamen Rider OOO Tajador Lost Blaze, a unique take on Tajador that looks more like a Rider form for Ankh. It tends to go for 10,000 yen plus, but looks worth it honestly. It's a beautiful take on my favorite looking Rider suit

You did great! Thanks! I think I'm gonna roll the dice on this SIC Faiz figure. He's so gloriously over-the-top (the Faiz Pointer is a crate!) that I'd like to experience him in-hand.

Have you tried submerging the figure in warm water? Always a good idea to try to loosen the joints before posing straight out of the box
