New Trivia: Aruto's actor has a passion outside of acting. What is it?

Accel was probably one of my favorites to play whenever I got to him. Though he's not my absolute favorite in this game, they've yet to show up properly.

That being said for a secondary Rider, Accel is probably the most fleshed out I feel. At least when compared to the rest of the roster that isn't the main guys. It's just that extra form change that really helps when it comes to things.

Also ah yes, that FMA game you all were talking about, I literally only know about it because I saw a tumblr vod a while back of someone fighting continuously with a pogo stick.

Kudos for the inFamous reference! I think the original is still the best. Second Son really could have used some side quests to make it less repetitive.

Damn, these Accel tips are all great! I guess I might try that infinite RP trick after all, if it makes FT Mode even slightly worth it. Although one of FT Mode's advantages in normal gameplay is its ranged attack which can be used in situations where it's dangerous to get too close.

Regarding his change attack, it's cool, but I think it's a missed opportunity not to give him his bike form as an equivalent to Latorartar's super speed mode. Limiting Hard Boiler to a cutscene and Ride Vendor to vending was unfortunate as well. If they put bike exploration in this game, it would've been awesome!

In terms of story, I most certainly love the first inFAMOUS game the most. Have yet to play Second Son despite having owned it for like, ever. Should probably get around to that at some point.

Yeah, but his Aerial Strong Attack is also a fireball shot that can be used all the same. It does jack all for damage sure, but if you wanna play the range game, it's there. Glad you got something out of the tips though!

For sure, it's a great story. The Kessler plot twist was shocking (and that's how you know it's Aruto)! Second Son is still a decent game though, despite how short and simple it is. You can do some cool stuff with Neon on a high karma playthrough.

Either that or they couldn't integrate both FT Mode and super speed in to the same form, since they're both assigned to the same button. Or they didn't want to make Accel too OP. Maybe FT Mode is the reason why there's no playable bike form outside of change attack.

Okay now I'm just really curious, like which Final Form Weapons do you think don't work for which Riders? I'm just asking if only because of the example you gave in the video and this one right now.

This is very true.

Well, to give one example, I'm actually not a fan of the Axecalibur for Wizard Infinity Style. Like, yeah, Haruto knows his way around a gunblade, but at the same time, he would always mix it up with the various spells that he knew. Meanwhile, whenever Infinity is involved? It's all weapon all the time, despite the form supposedly having near infinite mana for him to use. Has Infinity Style shown off some fancy spells even a single time, I'd likely give the Axecalibur a pass.

Funny thing about my run in with the Mantis Yummy, it's first move was to hop on the pillar. And I just decided to go unga bunga, full aim mode with Cyclone Trigger and just kept shooting and shooting and shooting till it died. I just kept stunning and shooting it so it could do nothing but just steadily die.

Ha, gotta love stun-locking. Yeah, Cyclone Trigger is really good in this game, mainly for those piercing shots. Practically a necessity if you plan to fight the 2nd phase of the final boss with Double.

As another fan of LunaJoker, I was also a little disappointed to find the Trigger Memory here. It's weird how LunaJoker is the first form change in the show but you still can't use it at this point in the game. However, it's nice to have the Trigger Memory since I like LunaTrigger as well.

It's kind of pointless how those random obstacles show up once just to make you use the most recent form's ability. Like how there aren't many gaps for Cyclone[x] to double jump across or more walls of fire for Heat[x] to walk through. From the trailer, I was expecting navigational utility to be more important. At least Shauta will get to show off later.

I think the reason why OOO can use Putotyra without worrying about Greeedification is due to these Purple Medals being created by Foundation X. This may also be the reason why none of the Greeed get weaker from losing black-rimmed Core Medals, if their total Core Energy is just being distributed across however many Core Medals they have at the time. That's my headcanon anyway.

I guess you could technically refer to the Hard Turbuler minigame as bike action, but it's not what I had in mind. I do enjoy these sequences though and I like how they let you retry as many times as you want to get the SSS score. However, I would have liked to see more vehicles besides Double's, like OOO's Toride Vendor and Zero One Breaking Mammoth.

So now that Double have had their character development, it's time for OOO to deal with his current feeling of inadequacy against Muchiri, the new venomous bug Greeed (Mukade isn't an insect) who is very strong and looks very awesome.

Also can I just bring up one thing I always found odd when it comes to the more recent writing with Eiji?

It never... ever felt like Eiji lost the Medals he got in Megamax? Like, if he kept the Super TaToBa one's, then clearly he should have kept the rest? Cause like you see him using them fine in Super Hero Taisen, and even Ultimatum. The way I always felt like the timeline went with that is, the remaining one's get sucked to the future, they become Poseiden, go back to the past, get removed and then they're back in Eiji's possession, a perfect time loop.

I just don't like the fact that there are two things now where they go "No he doesn't have any actual Medals now he lost them." and that annoys me a bit. Like I get it, gameplay purposes and not breaking stuff for this, but he should have at least had his starting set of Medals in Generations Final. It's why I headcanon that he does have them, but the Kougami Foundation is keeping them under lock and key to make sure no one misuses them and to study them to help Eiji bring back Ankh.

Also I will firmly say I'm in the Tajador is the final form camp for this! Which is why I am absolutely glad it is not in the final form slot! Because then you can be Tajador for as long as you want in this game whenever you get it.

This is also why I have to give points to the Battride War Games just a bit, because the final form is on a gauge, but also they let you start up immediately with a finisher to deal damage. But also, there are figures you can equip to your characters that can easily supplement and even fully negate Super Form depletion as well, letting you play in Final Forms to your hearts content.

I’ll be clear here, the reason for the audio bleed is because my video was slightly out of sync. I didn’t realise until we were a few minutes in and I wasn’t comfortable saying anything then.

Oh yeah, Muchiri is great. I also love that it has no will of its own and is a total puppet of Zeus; Something that will have significance later on. The downside to this part of the game being that from here on, Double and OOO are gonna start taking up almost all of the gameplay.

Yeah that's a weird thing with Eiji in terms of everything after the Fourze crossover. It seems like in the cameos where he's a major player, he's without his medals, but whenever he's just got a small role, he's allowed to have his entire arsenal(like in the Wizard epilogue).

Your headcanon does make some sense, but it also means that the Kogami Foundation routinely sends Eiji into danger without anything to protect himself with(like in this game), which, I mean... I can see that, actually. Guess he really likes saying "Happy Birthday OOO?"

It's also the last form Eiji gets in the story of this game, meaning that it still totally counts as the Final Form! Win-win!

Well I mean, there is a way to do that in this game(sort of). But it'll be awhile before I'm allowed to show that off. Sounds fun though!

New Activity Idea: Everyone write a short essay/story(like a page, maybe 2 at most) detailing TN as a High School AU. I'll even throw one in if you guys want. This idea just really amuses me for some reason.

It’s funny how they went with Flying Falcon as the one base form in the game, given that it’s in-show track record is atrocious. It gets made to defeat one type of monster (the Onchyo Magia), but fails to defeat two of them and the key ends up stolen by a third to be used by Kamen Rider Jin, who proves way more effective with it.

I gotta say, like, it's one thing to hear yourself talk normally, but it's another thing to hear like yourself on a recording through a mic. So this was really nice to sorta just like gauge, how like people can hear me? Like having done Let's Play type stuff before, and just general recordings, it's interesting to hear my voice sort of, evolve. And I gotta say it turned out pretty nicely, really glad for the headset recommendation and I'm glad to have gotten a chance to join in.

Probably just so they'd have a mobility/flight form for most of the characters. But like I said with Shining Assault Hopper, this game makes me make it cool so it all works out in the end. But also, such is the fate of a Pre-Series Collectible that gets advertised via the prior Riders Summer Movie. Flying Falcon in Over Quartzer is honestly really cool.

My one weakness! High School AU's! Sadly I don't have much to contribute on this. Other than I'd probably be the one guy locked up in the library for the most part, but not reading, it'd be me either playing Yugioh or being on my Laptop. But I will say that even if I did attempt this prompt, it'd probably somehow just turn into a normal shonen or action series or something. Because slight old story, but I recall back in the olden days of 2010, going to a Kingdom Hearts RP Forum that was primarily a High School AU, my entrance eventually spiraled the forum into just turning it into a full blown normal KH RP.

If I had to choose a favorite Dopant, it would have to be Yesterday for how unique and potentially dangerous her ability is considering how much chaos Shoutarou caused while under her spell.

Sagohzo was very useful for no-selling all of Violence's bouncing. I got a game over from this guy and then I remembered: Oh yeah, Sagohzo!

On the topic of things we don't like about Tajadol, I never liked how the eyes turned red. I mean, it's already red enough, right?

Need to take out a clustered group of enemies? Walk in to the center of them and use LunaJoker's or Shining Assault's change attack. So satisfying! But yeah, we have the same appreciation for LunaJoker!

Gorilla Candroid surprised me when I got it since I totally forgot about its existence in the show. I looked it up and found out that Date was the only guy who ever used it, so maybe that's why. Also, I'm disappointed that Ptera Candroid isn't in this game.

I think the inclusion of Flying Falcon and Zero Two is justice for how badly they were treated in the show. It's partially why I'm planning to use that infinite EX accelerator on Zero One, just so I can give Zero Two the attention it deserves. For other forms, I think it would've been cool if they went the OOO route and give him an exclusive like Dynamiting Lion. He's definitely my second favorite Rider to play, after Double.

I guess I'm the only dude in the thread without a Discord now, haha! Oh well.

Well, the game does provide a reason for that, albeit much later on. Lends to my theory that despite having late show forms in-game, story-wise this might be Aruto's' early days.

You know admittedly I don't think I've ever heard people talk about how like... badly treated Zero-Two was, if only cause I sort of love Zero-Two and felt it got as fair a shake it could. Given well, everything surrounding the latter half of Zero-One. I feel like Flying Falcon and Shining Assault Hopper got like bad usage on a more intentional level than Zero-Two tbh.

And I mean Zero-Two's honestly great as far as like Final Forms go since it's one of the like maybe two Final Forms in Rider to have an In-Series record of 0 Losses. Which is impressive when you think about it. :lol

I think I migrated to Discord around... 2017 or so. Mostly because I was fed up with Skype as a chatting service. It's just an overall great place to go to and chat with people tbh.

I'm also a fan of Zero Two, which is why I'm disappointed that it only got a few chances to shine. Most of that is you-know-what's fault, but the staff's decision to repurpose Ark One and throw in RealEyezing Hopper as a "new form" just made the problem even worse. The former I could kind of see what they were going for, but I can't defend the latter.

Shining Assault Hopper actually managed to keep up with Thouzer, so I think it performed as expected for a Q1 upgrade. Flying Falcon though, poor guy got "Edisoned" by Jin and when Aruto finally gets it back, Thouzer steals its data. Rarely have I felt so much pity for a form as I have for Flying Falcon.

Zero Two may have a 100% win rate in the show, but like a certain other president once said, 100% isn't good enough. The last time we see Aruto use it is when he gets his a*s kicked by Eden in the movie and when he gets another chance to use it later, nope, it's that damn RealEyezing Hopper again. It just seems like the plot goes out of its way to stop Aruto from using Zero Two.

Hmm, maybe I'll look in to it.

Since we're talking about Merchandise, oh let me count the ways in which plastic crack has ruined me in terms of DX stuff. Though I also have a rule of only getting the Driver and trinkets I like. Since a few of my first shows were W and Decade I grabbed from them, but since the year I started watching was Wizard, that's when I started collecting with the show. So sadly, no OOO or Fourze.

Decade: Decadriver Korean Ver. (Because the sounds weren't changed yet and the cards were wiped blank of Ganbaride stuff so they're more accurate) and Diendriver Korean Ver. because the one I found was super cheap even if it's not the best version of that toy.
W: W Driver which I modded into a Lost Driver after getting a Skull Magnum and Skull Memory.
Wizard: White Wizard Driver cause I liked the voice more.
Gaim: Mostly collected a random assortment of Lockseeds, but also specifically Zangetsu's and his faceplate before getting a Sengoku Driver. Mostly grabbed Zangetsu's stuff for a cosplay for a convention because I love Takatora.
Drive: Mach Driver, mostly for Chaser
Ghost: Ghost Driver and Eyecon's, my holy grail of that is the Ishinomori Eyecon.
Ex-Aid: Gamer Driver and lot's of Gashats, mostly Brave's and Genm's cause I did a cosplay for both for a con one year.
Build: Build Driver and dozens of Full Bottles, more than I'd usually collect (Thank you Toku Toy Box 2017 for giving me that head start)
Zi-O: Ziku Driver and Ridewatches of Riders I like, and Trinity.
Zero-One: The one year I collect multiple actual belts from a series, Zero-One Driver, Shotriser and Forceriser with assorted Progrise Keys.
Saber: Probably the one series I didn't really get anything for? Maybe I'll get Suzune, but so far all I have are Buster and Slash RKF's alongside one Wonder Ride Book to display with em.

My one rule though is even if I don't have the Driver it's associated with... I will always buy a Penguin Trinket. Because Penguin's are my spirit animals. My second rule is, if the Driver has a Skull related trinket that's easy to get, I'll buy it. *Stares at my Skull Lockseed*

And that's like me not getting into heavy detail of what I have in each series. Cause it's a... lot. Currently trying to redecorate! Ha ha!

Anyway, here is my contribution to making memes!

My main way of making memes is posting screenshots to a Facebook group called “Spandex Sentai Contextranger” (a spin-off of a page called “Spandex Sans Context”, which takes screenshots from Tokusatsu shows, often with the subbed dialogue, and adds a funny caption to them). My personal Magnum Opus for that group is “I’m Hidari Shoutaro. A private dick.”

And in terms of rider merch, I’ve got the Zodiarts switch from Fourze, the Wizard Action Please Wizard Water Style action figure from Wizard, the “15 Rider” Lockseeds from Gaim, the Gaim Eyecon from Ghost, the Ride-Player Chronicle Gashat from Ex-Aid, the Smash Bottles and RKF Build Hazard from Build, the Memorial Ridewatches, Anotherwatch set 4 and RKF Kamen Rider Zi-O, GhostArmor, Zi-O II and Grand Zi-O from Zi-O, the ShotRiser with Shooting Wolf Progrise Key and the Flaming Tiger Progrise Key from Zero-One (with the Memorial Progrise Keys AIMS and Zaia set on its way) and quite a bit from Saber (the Swordriver, the three emblems for it, the 3 main books for Saber Blades and Espada, Kenzan’s belt, Fuusouken Hayate and books, Saber’s first quarter power up and both of Blades’ power up books, to be precise). I have a bit from other Toku franchises, but that would clog up this post, so I won’t list them.

Maaann your lists make me jealous. Really wish I had the space for more roleplay items! I can only hope Team Kamen Rider gets to bring over the CSMs for the Arcle and OOO Driver to the US at some point. And that Hasbro eventually makes an SPD Morpher.
