It made more than Dairanger and Kakuranger put together. Until Kyoryuger, it was the highest selling Sentai toyline.

There was some speculation in the pre-season that Zenkaiger was taking a cue from "monster tamer" shows, where there would be multiple human rangers each leading their own team of robots, and that there would be competition between the various teams for the Sentai Gears. I don't know how much of that was pulled out of thin air, but based on the details that have been released about TwoKaizer and StaCaesar, I'm not ruling it out.

A tamer styled Sentai show would be pretty cool. Honestly, I'd pretty down to see something like that~

Honestly, though I haven't seen Gokaiger yet (really should), I love how he's GokaiGold, and I'm okay with that. I can see he has some extra details that make him stand out a little, and his weapon is rather interesting, I love the helm for some reason.

This is likely the equivalent of Decade in Zi-O in a way, but more likely being a throwback to one of the biggest anniversary seasons in Sentai, and borrowing Zenkaiser's motif of having a sort of revamped legacy suit. I would have preferred something like coattails to the suit, but he still looks really great, can't wait to see him in action!

Goldtweaker is Gold + Tsuika, in other words deliberately the creators pointing out he is a gold tsuika senshi. The Zox part I am not sure. And for the Gaim fans, Atsuki Mashiko who will play our gold pirate was Proto Baron in the Kamen Rider Zangetsu musical. He seems to have been mostly musical-focused appearing in stuff such as the one I just mentioned and Prince Of Tennis as well.
