I'd be lying if I said there wasn't a part of me that looks at this like "well I mean, if you don't have Kobayashi writing it..." I feel it's sort of a fool's errand to try and create another definitive ending to a series that already had such a great one to begin with... buuuuut, on the other hand, Mouri has done some great work in his own right, and they definitely seem pretty serious about this? It's inherently nice to see everyone back, of course, but if they really find a good story to tell with these characters again, that's what will make me really happy.

(I know this post sounds super unexcited, but keep in mind this is all rooted in what an absurdly high standard of quality OOO has set for itself. I can't help having expectations!) :p

Looking at the new form the Original OOO gets, there aren’t many images, but I think it’s based on a Dragon.
The helmet seems to have whiskers that Chinese Dragon’s are depicted with, also a kind of scale look on the side.
Also, with OOO’s powers coming from animals, Dragons are seen as the amalgamation of all animals.

Where are people seeing the CSM forms in this? If it's the suit at 0:07, that looks to be a new villain fighting OOO in a later scene, and a retool of Tamashiy

I think they might be referring to their Core Medals, rather than the forms themselves. Gotou’s Birth-X uses the BiKaSo medals (you can tell it’s Gotou who uses the new form, not Date, because you can see both Births together, and vanilla Birth has a much cockier stance than Birth-X, and, more damningly, one shot in the trailer has Gotou holding the BiKaSo medals and mouthing ‘henshin’), and the Tajanity Spinner includes new ‘Goda’ versions of the MukaChiRi medals.

Also one neat thing about OOO having multiple parts is this Multi-OOO we've seen isn't just a Tamashii kitbash.

If you look closely, the head is a partial remold of Burakawani's head with the back having the same molding while the front is different. The chest and shoulders are likely Tamashii but the forearms and legs are Super Tatoba. It's basically a full mix of Movie Exclusive forms.

Speaking of, if you look on King OOO chest, you see four images, in green, blue, yellow & gray.
Guessing the King absorbs the four other Greeed to transform, while Eiji and Ankh combine to make the Ankh Tajador form.

To summarise, there are no reprisals here, beyond Ankh’s arm being played by the original’s understudy.

The ending will be Eiji breaking character and stare at the camera full of anger and recite Marlon Brando's line from Planet of the Apes.Cut to he goes gatakiriba and rider kicks the world, and we get an ending that pays tribute to the Kamen Rider BLACK manga ending. :lolol

Eitoku's busy with Revice so that makes sense to me. I don't know if Takaiwa is busy with anything but I guess it was more convenient to use a new actor for OOO.

(I kind of find it funny that Mezool's suit actors are both men).

Well, Maki was the Final Boss as the Purple Greeed, so I feel like it's more important that his defeat remain untouched compared to bringing back the other four core Greeed (who themselves died at least 1-2 times before their final fights. I mean, Uva died like 2-3 times).

Either way, doesn't mean the actor himself can't come back. For instance, the recent Gokaiger movie featured Basco's actor in a new role and they do a couple jokes about his name
