Really looking forward to this. Snack theme sounds wild and reminds me a lot of Gaim.

Supposedly the helmet looks a little cat themed (maybe based on the respective monster), and it purple in color. If the leaked on-set photo turns out to be for Gavv, then I have to say the suit looks pretty cool and I like the idea of having a physical giant boot for his finisher.

Also, Geats->Gotchard->Gavv, three G-Kamen Riders in a row!

Yes, but I think it's more of a coincidence than an idea. After all, the names are originally invented in Japanese.

Here's something else I thought about. If you stick to the concept: "living belt and tasty gimmicks", what if the belt refuses to bite new gimmicks and the rider will have to somehow make them more appetizing? It will help bring variety to the "defeat the monster-get a toy" scheme and, perhaps, slightly slow down the flurry of new forms in the first half of the show (but this is unlikely).

Hmm... Gavv would be "Gabu" in Japanese... and gabu is an onomatopoeia for chewing/eating/biting...

I've been following Kamen Rider closely for 11+ years now, and if the details on the first post in the thread are right, that would be among the earliest pre-release details of an upcoming KR I've seen. I can't remember a time when accurate show details dropped before a title copyright.

The jury is obviously still out on whether these are correct or not, but it would be crazy if they are.

Who's to bet if KR Gavv will be snack/candy-themed, it'll have some Willy Wonka vibes there?

Assuming that filming picture is real, the monster that we can see there looks like it has some Showa-era like elements to it. So I'm leaning towards this being a throwback season.

Given the timing... Gotchard still has several months before it's finished... it seems way too early for any shooting to be happening. But who knows! Could Toei have really become this sloppy??

I think if the rumor is true, the food theme in the Gavv series is very unique. This really reminds me of the fruit theme from the Gaim series.

This must be for the Gotchard summer movie since new rider shows tend to start around September and these shows seem to have roughly a two-month difference between the filming of an episode and its actual air date.

Well, a purple rider is quite expected considering it's Hibiki's 20th birthday. But the costume, given that we see neither the helmet nor the belt, is rather boring. The boot is an interesting detail though.

The monster looks like Showa, the rider looks like something from early Heisei. It looks like either Toei is overcome by nostalgia, or they're still going back to basics after Geats.

But it works.

It only goes in alphabetical if you limit yourself to that mindset.

Then Zero-One's theme should be "robots" or "corporation", and Geats's should be "game" or "happiness". The point is that, no matter how you look at it, there are no real refutations of the alphabetic theory. Although, again, with Gavv we are clearly running ahead of the locomotive.

So putting away the figurative Alphabet Soup aside I can imagine the two Vs for Gavv stylized as fangs for the logo. :rock:
And if the rumor of rider no. 2 being chocolate is true, I can imagine a possible follow-up rider being a wagashi (traditional Japanese treats) rider with a ninja motif or a samurai motif. Heck, maybe we'll finally get an ice cream rider who spews dad jokes and bad puns as the Kiriya of the show and die on Christmas Day only to come back as popsicle rider the following year. :lolol

Nah I think F is for Fossils and Gavv, or Gabu, is referencing the bite of dinosaurs. Just think about Kyoryuger. Gabutyra, the Gaburivolver, etc.

Quick reminder, "gabu" isn't limited to dinosaurs. It's generally used for any instance of biting within the Japanese language.

The ice cream theme rider dies at Christmas because its sweetness is not suitable for the cold season. In general, this idea can be developed into something worthwhile and unusual. Like the story of the abduction of Persephone or any other variation of the dying-resurrecting seasonal deity, but with sweets.

I would say it's unlikely to return to the dinosaur theme so soon after Revice, but on the other hand, the dinosaur is almost a dragon, which is the second most popular among riders after the grasshopper. So it is possible, but as already mentioned, anyone can bite.

True. But I feel like if ?anything? bites, it will most likely be another animal theme and tbh I want something else for once. It?s always been animals since Zero-One: AI + Animals (Zero One), Books + Mythology + Animals (both real and myth; Saber), Demons + Animals (Revice), Death Game/Survival Game + Animals (Geats) and lastly Alchemy and Creatures in the form of Chemies (including animal-themed ones; Gotchard).

If I get to choose I want something as random and unique as Build, Ex-Aid or Ghost. Something that?s new or unexplored theme. And tbh I like a series like Geats where it is kinda mysterious and good vs evil isn?t as clear so it?s more unique and deeper (who is right and who is evil?) type shit.

Huh, you're right, it will be Amazon's 50th. Maybe we can expect more graphic violence for Gavv, as much as Japan's PG rating will allow.

But remember that this also happened in Sentai: Goseiger -> Gokaiger -> Gobusters. For the exact same pattern to occur twice, no, that's way too suspicious to dismiss as coincidence. Toei are up to something.
