Don't remember that one. The one time it was addressed in the manga, during the time Vegeta and Nappa arrived on earth, Vegeta stated Saiyajin blood combined with human DNA would be like a super-fuel, so it would make them even stronger than pure Saiyajins. He even thought about building an army of hybrids, but scrapped the idea because he feared they could easily overthrow him.

I think Saiyajin-genes are too resistant, they can't be watered down to a point where you would lose the ability to go Super-Saiyajin. The only thing they might lose is their true form and SSJ4 because of the lack of tails (not sure if Pan had one or that it was mentioned being cut) but SSJ is essentially just a power-up that every blood related person should have the potential for. Of course there are ones like Bra, but I guess even she could pull it off, she's just not a fighter. And we know Saiyajins like that existed back on planet Vegeta too so it has nothing to do with the human heritage.

Also Pan counts as a Saiyajin for the SSJ-God ritual, that alone means something.

Yet again it was some stated in GT I remember. Then again GT now part of movie time line as it fit in there more.

I don't remember there being any sort of in-show explanation in GT as to why she couldn't become a super saiyan, but it isnt like she did all that much fighting in the show anyway. As to why it never happened for her but did for the juniors, well...that isn't really rocket science is it?

I'm not big fan of gt I like as part of video games gt I them more game to play. But I'm waiting to a jaco anime.

The only reason Pan or Bulla didn't go Super Saiyan is because Akira Toriyama didn't know how to draw a female Super Saiyan at the time.

He flat out said this he also mentioned both had the potential for it.

I don't understand honestly how hard it would be for him to draw them as super sayin, they'd just end up with spikey yellow hair that might look a bit closer to SS3 but not as extreme. Heck just take Yang's hair from RWBY at this point and spike it up a bit. I just hope if the new movies last long enough in the time line he actually gets it to happen. At least Akira Toryiama said they had the potential for it. That makes it a bit better at least.

well the new movie is set before 288 of the anime episode and set a year after battle of god. Pan new born and is be held by videl in the tie in manga so these movie are set just before pan is 5

Yeah i knew it wouldn't happen in this one I was just thinking if we get like 3 or four more movies. Like if instead of a new anime we get a new movie ever few years.
