It did derail pretty hard as soon as Drew entered the frame, with his scheming, his deadite girlfriend and his time machine. Who knows how this ties back to anything else :lol

It will in the end! It's still not as confusing as Ryuki....that's a plus, right?

Maybe I should give Ryuki a watch, see how it holds up to Dragon Knight.

It's rather rough. I love Ryuki, but don't expect Dragon Knight if you watch it.

Yeah it's a weird beast, because even the fans don't seem to have much good to say.

It tried new things. The characters, sadly, are a bit flat.

I like it. Don't expect any Dragon knight though. Its a hell of a lot more dark and twisted, and not just because of the cultural differences between Japanese and American Kids' shows. It has some pretty good arcs overall in fact, the third arc of the show is probably one of my favorite Rider arcs ever. But it still does that slice of life thing early Heisei stuff did a lot. So if you can't stand that kind of stuff, I can understand, but in Ryuki, its very minor.

Its one of my top 4 favorite Rider series.
