To me just cause it's the first doesn't mean it good,,or that I have to not hate it.

"Forefather status" is a goofy concept to me. I don't think things should be revered simply because their old or they originate a concept or whatever. But this show does deserve some recognition for being a good show. The actual outright hate I've seen for Zyuranger is undeserved.

I agree since I would most likely never become a Power Rangers fan if it wasn't for Zyuranger suits. If MMPR started in 1992 with Jetman then I think MMPR would have been forgotten much like how VR Troopers and Masked Rider are now.

Zyuranger does have logic errors like humans existing with Dinosaurs millions of years ago and you have animals from Ice Age living among with them, but it's Super Sentai. Try not to take logic in these shows so seriously.

Zyuranger is a very lighthearted and kid-friendly show. It's not surprising that a lot of older fans who want everything to be serious and grimdark dislike it. There's a subset of the tokusatsu fandom who seem to forget that these shows are actually made for children.

Uh... yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaah... because having a ranger with a time limit before he dies is so lighthearted.

People can hate/dislike it but I've seen some people over the years downright disrespect with nasty comments and literally take it apart piece by piece. I've seen some people hate on it because it defies logic and I'm just astounded by that because this is Sentai we're talking about. Things don't have to make sense, they just happen.

Witch Bandora worships the Devil and sends kids to the Devil. I would hardly call that lighthearted, even for a Japanese kids show. I also Zyuranger had people throwing trash at the main heroes because they didn't want them around. To me, Zyuranger was better then MMPR. Zyuranger did things better then MMPR did in my opinion. I like how they found Bandora on another Planet then the Moon. In MMPR, we see the Moon having a surface and sand, then the Moon looks just like ours with no surface.

Bandora had better character development then Rita did. Some people like MMPR better for the nostalgia which is fine, but I can't watch MMPR anymore since the acting and writing hurts me.

You forgot the fact that she sold her soul to the devil because her son was killed.

Looking forward to this, hope it sells well so maybe we get other Sentai series on DVD officially.
