Saw the season finale of Gravity falls, the Pines family has climbed up my badass list, all the way up there with KH Mickey and Bumblebee.

I completely agree that finale was glorious and I cannot wait for the next season.

Man, I need to catch up with Gravity Falls.

and I need to finish TF: Prime. I watched the one with Knock Out and Starscream today...Airachnid is a vampire now...yay?

No. She's stuck on that asteroid. But we are getting a movie in october, so you never know.

Whaddya wanna bet the movie either features Optimus finding an ancient Cybetronian relic that transports his team to a parallel world where the Autonots must brave the harshworld of High School, or Optimus dies (AGAIN) and his team needs to find a way to resurrect him as ancient Predacons ravage Cybertron as they travel with new armored upgrades?

Remember, Hasbro movies are either Equestria Girls, live action Michael Bay and Michael Bay imitators, or 80's toy shilling. And since the Prime TV movie is animated, it's probably not the second one.

For some reason I can't help but picture Prime in a schoolgirl costume.

Man, Beware the Batman just keeps getting better and better as the show progresses.

Not just in terms of the characters, plot ETC but the animation is steadily getting better too. The characters outside the fights didn't seem as stiff as the previous three episodes.

Is it wrong I want to see that now :lol

Shame I'll never watch it. But it is Cartoon Network so my guess is if people start liking it'll be cancelled in a few weeks anyway.

Started rewatching Beast Wars because shut up, I can.
Wow, Rattrap is a gigantic asshole, but after spending the last 5 years with Autobots who line up to suck off Optimus, it's nice to have dissension in the ranks and not have Prime be the be all end all ultimate leader and infallible genius.

Anyway, outside of the choppy writing of the first few episodes, the only real problem is that the animation hasn't aged well.

Rattrap is an interesting character. Some people hate how much of a jerk he is in early Beast Wars, and somewhat in Beast Machines, but I liked it. He was always the character that was the most volatile, the "less-than-perfect". Granted, they all were, some in more surprising ways (such as Rhinox) but Rattrap makes for a very interesting character and my personal favorite outside of Primal as a kid.

That's what I like about Beast Wars and Animated, the ragtag misfits that grow into a genuine team of respect and trust.

And yeah, 90's CG is usually pretty crappy by today's standards. Still has some charm, though.

I like Rattrap. Always have, but I'm appreciating him more by having a character who doesn't have faith in his leader (The closest we've got to another like him was in Animated, and even then, it was more just them not obeying every order with no question).

Yeah, that made the casts memorable and more interesting for both series.

And I really wouldn't agree with that. While I can tolerate the choppy CG, it's really not very good in the slightest. I'm only giving it leeway because it was, what, the 2nd show to be 100% CG animated?

I love how Mikey gets annoyed whenever his coworkers do some random Anime art shift like the super-deformed "WHA?! Faces," and he tries to induce the effect befor giving up and calling them showoffs.

That made me laugh each time. XD

I found the show unwatchable for that exact reason, I guess it's just gonna have to stay fond in my memories.

Alright new episode of Beware, this really was a return to form after last weeks misstep. I loved this weeks villain and all the cool moments Alfred got. Plus having the general tone not overly kidified certainly helps as well.

However my continuous gripes are with the animation and character designs, the show is well directed and stages the action well but everyone looks so out of proportion and fights always come across more like two nets caught in a whirlwind. Ugly, ugly, ugly.

I remembered it. I like it quite a bit. I always wondered what other nationalities would look like in that show.

Seriously? I hate that damn show! It's garbage! It's annoying as all hell, all the characters that aren't Mickey look like shit and it's as if the only thing the writers knew about anime was "Be over the top and random!" Now true, there is some anime like that. But it's not all that anime is. I find this show absolutely atrocious and to the people who like I just have one thing to ask... HOW?!

Perhaps because I was like 10 when it came out?

Maybe it's because I'm old but I seriously have no idea what that show even is and I personally think that opening makes it look absolutely terrible.

Moving forward, I've interested in checking out Gravity Falls. Is it any good?

I tuned in once, then turned it off about one minute later because I found it to be incredibly stupid. I later found an article on the Internet that said that it was one of the smartest shows in TV history. Make of that what you will.

Its fantastic. The best animated show Disney have put out since I don't know when.
