I kinda have mixed feelings about the new designs.

It's cool we're moving past noodle people but those designs are too generic for Digimon. Where's the flair? Are we that against having characters looking like something cool?

Here's hoping the Digimon have OK desgins.

Considering that the characters look like they are now, the Digimon are going to look WAY different and I don't think I'm going to like it really.

I like the new art style of the characters, but the Digimon have to look flashy and not like they had just came out of the anime movie: Wolf Children. :(

(The art style of that movie is kind of similar to Tri's art style).

I kind of doubt it, the franchise has had different styles for the humans amongst all the animes and games, but the digimon species always look more or less the same.
Adventure, Tamer and Xros Wars have way different casts, but Leomon still looks like Leomon no matter where he is.

Its not the designs that will look different and more the animation style. Look at the Digimon movies for example. Especially the ones done by the same guy who did "Summer Wars" the Humans look nothing like in the show but the digimon do and they blend in well because of the way they are animated.

But the general design similarities are still there. To me, the only Digimon series that actually broke it was Data Squad/Savers, but even there, the characters were distinct enough that it wasn't noticeable.

Concerning the Digimon themselves, I think they'll be fine. I doubt we'll be seeing huge differences in their general design (Unless they bring back the giant Greymon design from the movie).

The character designs look fine to me since I was able to tell who ever one is. I'm looking forward to this so much since it's good to see the original characters back. I do hope that the Adventure 02 cast return as well since I always loved Veemon as a kid.

Oh I have no worries about the Digimon. I expect some redesigning maybe (and the animation style difference not counting), but a Digimon is pretty recognizable. Especially the originals.

But yes, I was meaning that out of context, the gang is pretty darn anime generic and unrecognizable. Even with context... They still kinda are. And ugh, you're right Matrix, Kari and Sora are totally the same character wearing different clothes there.

I wonder if Saban will get the original voice cast back if they dub the show in the near future? It's a shame that we have to wait until at least 2017 for the show to come out in the US. Saban did a terrible job on marketing Fusions since there was hardly any promotion for the show and no one knew it was out until a week later. Saban does a better job on promoting Power Rangers then they do with their other franchises.

If Saban is the one to dub it, please god don't let them edit it. They royally fucked Devimon up...

I can't imagine Saban not dubbing this. They would easily want to jump on the nostalgia train by marketing the show to the older fans and the younger fans. I wish Digimon was on Cartoon Network instead since CN would market the show better.

Seriously CN only cares about TTG, even though everyone dislikes or hates it. If Digimon Tri were brought there it WILL die since Cartoon Network doesn't care about action shows, anime or anything if it isn't random.

If we want this to work a video site will have to host it because CN's head is so far up its ass it's starting to loop around to having its head up its ass.

When dubbed, I just hope they don't get the original actors. I hate it when characters that should have aged by so much still have their prepubescent voice *Cough*Goku*CoughCough*

Don't Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh do pretty well on Cartoon Network? I seen several kids in my local area that play and watch those two shows. What other channel would work better for Digimon since Fusion is on Nick Toons which is a channel that most people don't have.

Yu-Gi-Oh is on Nicktoons, not Cartoon Network. I guess Tri would work kind of well on Nicktoons, but I could be wrong.

If anybody remembers at some point after Frontier, Bandai America considered making it'w on Digimon toyline to keep the brand alive, it would've been called Digimon: Force Three, it of course enver went anywhere, but today I saw the original ToyFair pics for the first time, thought it'd be fun to share:

Funny thing is goku japanese VA was going to be replace by time of season five of classic dragon ball the fact she new that made her slightly upset and she loved voicing goku so she went and proved she can keep doing goku he does sond old and deeper in his voice, you have hear from kid on wards to hear change but she does make it deeper but still recognisable for the japanese audiance so once toei animation DBZ team heard that they kept her, she proved her self to keep do the character she loved. Also she voice Guilmon and dukemon

they would barely market the show they will end up airing trailers for it the exact morning it airs like tenkai knights and sonic boom
