Yeah man, it's great. It is also really fucking slow, the padding and stretching of scenes doesn't feel that much of a problem in action scenes because it does a great way of constructing a sense of utter chaos, carnage and panic but once the fighting stops the show really drags.

You see by that point I'd already started moving away from anime for the reasons I explained a page or so back. It'd been quite some time by that point since I sat down and wolfed down an anime with such gusto. But I was just hooked on TTGL and it kept my bum glued until the end.

Also, Shingeki 11 was a little better - still cripplingly slow but it was at least establishing things, rather than just being a single scene stretched out long beyond the point of reason. If there is something this series does well, it is the horrors of war, and the general terror and psychological damage it can bring. With so many heroes, in so many mediums, charging into battle with reckless abandon, you largely forget about the role of fear and how that can be the greatest antagonist that truly beats you in the end.

Plus, it puts a firm value on human life, constantly reminding us that everyone no matter the rank, has hopes, dreams, a name, a family and that their life is important. You can sometimes forget that amongst all the carnage, this isn't a series to glorify war, it damns it.

Plus, the movement control stuff is still awesome and Eren turning into a titan is EPIC.

watch 2 episodes of Star Driver and i am really linking it it has mecha design feel of Big o in there in some of the fights. i also like takuto i think that the red hairs guys name. but also it stating to be easyer to flush out the students that are part of the evil group.

I'm watching the Battle city arc in Yugioh, this is one of my favorite arcs in anime in general.

That actually inspired me to read my Yugioh mangas again.

Oh, Yami isn't a superb person, but he's not as bad as YGO abridged paints him.
Except for that one time he murdered a man for kidnapping Tea.

But other than those occasions. He's not a total monster. :p

Kaiba's theme park was originally created solely to kill Yugi and his friends.
As in, literally, murder all of them. He even hired Leatherface (Joey killed him, though).

Like, the first 7 or 8 volumes of the Yugioh manga (Before the Card game becomes the main focus) are freaking awesome.
Mokuba wasn't a ridiculous joke, Kaiba was a complete monster, Yami wasn't afraid to send someone to the hospital for cutting him in line. It was great.

That's awfully dark for a manga about a children's card game.

Remember, this was before the card game was the main focus.
While there were 2 chapters about the card game earlier (Kaiba's first appearance), it didn't become the focus of the series until another 3-4 volumes (Not chapters this time, but volumes).

Yeah. The first 7-8 Volumes (I don't remember the exact number right now) can get surprisingly violent. Not necessarily dark (It's not like a 90's anime, where deaths are graphically detailed), but it is kind of violent at times.

More often than not, however, it's just when you think about Yami's Penalty Games that make them more violent than at first glance.

It was pretty good. It'll be interesting to see how the three Zentradi react to human culture. I know that Max marries Miria later, so it'll be interesting to see what she does later.

Episode 12 of Shinkegi was basically another episode where nothing happened. This series has really gone downhill...

Part of the Duelist kingdom arc was in Season 0?

Season 0 was changed to make it less violent (Though Yami still does light someone on fire), as well as introducing Kaiba (Whose "Game" was the card game) a lot earlier than in the manga.

Gurren Lagann episode 9:

Nia showed up. Simon's depressed. I wonder if they'll explain just exactly what Nia is. Where does Team Gurren (or Dai-Gurren) get all of this red paint? So yeah, this episode was pretty good.

Just finshed watching star driver and I got to say it never thought it be so fun I enjoyed from start to finish I like how tokuto knew who is farther was when he asked for directions. Also it did feel long then 24 min episodes

All this talk of Star Driver makes me want to play with my RD Taubarn...

No, I cried because the first character to get a story arc was Fuko.

If Decade didn't exist, Fuko would probably be my least favorite fictional character ever.

It was by her hands alone that I never continued Clannad. Shame, considering everything else aside from her was pretty good.
