I really want that Baron S.H. Figuart.Gaim is a meh.My only question is how will the ab crunch be.It seems the chest armor kind of hangs down just a little,I keep wondering how much it will effect it.

Variants tend to not be very popular, but Kyoryuger has been popular enough that we might get a Carnival.

I'm more interested to see whether or not we get Cyan, Gray, Violet and Silver though.

The only thing I'm not looking forward to on Garren is having to put those god damn stickers on.

Oh yeah, those stickers are going to be a major pain in the ass.

Gaim and Baron look amazing. I have no problem buying them even though I already have the AC versions.

I'm really having a hard time deciding if I want the AC or SH versions. I know it's comparing apples to oranges, but still.

Hmm... Fruit puns seem to be unavoidable when talking about Gaim.

I'm just going to buy the Figuarts. Why waste my money on an inferior product that I'm only going to be able to sell off for a fraction of what I paid when the Figuarts come out?

I honestly wish I could get my hands on some AC figures but with the Figuarts coming out soon, basically looking like a miniature version of the suits and the AC being only slightly less than Figuarts prices at best I can't really justify getting one anymore.

If they weren't so hard to find and were within maybe the $20-25 range, hell yeah I'd pick them up. As it stands though, I find it hard convincing myself to drop that much money on a gimmick toy line that, aesthetics and technically-wise, holds no candle to something similarly priced.

I wonder, which should I get: KR Wizard or Nadeshiko.

Finally got myself a Zeronos. ^_^ If I hadn't talked myself into buying my first Rider belt at the same time I'd have probably snagged a Den-O Sword Form or Liner Form too... But ah well, some day.

AC figures may be inferior, but it's loads more fun to play with and I am pretty sure the value will only go up for these figs due to their limited supply.

Maybe for you, but not for me. I'll buy them, do some comics with them, pictures, and then they will sit on my shelf for the next several months until the Figuarts come out and I do replacement pics.

That's because your focus is on the looks of the figures, not their playability. In that case, the Figuarts would definitely be better.

For many people the playability is important too, they are toys after all.

I think it really base on personal preference. They both are good in their own way. SHF has the details and great articulations and AC has the swappable fruit arm gimmick. I'm getting the SHFs cause I prefer displaying them in the shelf but if I want something fun to play with, I would've gotten the AC ones. IMO, SHF are fun to play with but swapping hands and twisting joints isn't going be as fun as swapping armors.

And I'm glad to see I'm not the only person who occasionally takes the SHFs off the shelf and plays with them.

I love the playability of my AC. More than happy to buy every damn release in that line. But I'll honestly also buy every single release of Gaim SHF's I can possibly get my hands on. I want the play factor of the AC's and the gorgeousness of the SHF's. I will easily own more merchandise from this show than any other rider, which is insane.

Not to mention the ACs will be more durable due to being made for children.

Unfortunately, no. Tokkyuger is the first series to have a gimmick line outside of just the Red and their bike with articulation worse than a main line Power Ranger.

So no kid/play-oriented line then... Curses.

AC tend to be cheaper then the Figuarts. So it's up to your budget.

I'm 31. The time to play with toys ended 16 years ago.

Don't get me wrong, I constantly change the poses of my Figuarts, but the AC toys would end up being a waste of money as they would be replaced. And if there is anything I no longer have the luxury of doing, it is just needlessly buying toys just for the sake of buying them.

I honestly have been feeling the same way about my "toys" that I've been buying. The past few years I find myself spending less and less time actually "playing" with them. Maybe its cause I've moved on to collecting what may be considered higher-end products so I'm scared that I'm gonna break something I've spent lots of money on. Nowadays, most I do is take some pictures and play around with accessories (for SHF's anyways) and after that, off to the display to go or even back into their boxes depending on how much space I have. Every now and then I might go back and take something off a shelf and fiddle with it for a bit but nothing like I used to do when I was younger (although I am more in the 20's then 30's).



Anyways, more onto a more SHF related topic, I recently had time to fiddle with MMPR Pink/Ptera Ranger and I have to say I really like her. Maybe its because of the nostalgic-ness but I think she's a solid figure although maybe a little light on the accessories (especially the lack of a blade blaster in gun form).

Ive just sold my AC figures with the intention of being all in for the figuarts, it was fun but i love my display pieces.

Do we see the kyoryuger line ever being completed? The 100 years after V cinema is likely going to see releases off the back of it, but at half a dozen kyoryugers still to be announced, its going to be a tall order and at least 1 character will need male and female versions, thats a pretty hefty order.

Btw, does anybody have Hurricane blue and yellow yet? Mine is on the way and im interested to see the range of parts after the mammoth gouraiger set

Not to get too anal about this kind of stuff, but spoilers dude. Some of us haven't seen the new Kyoryuger or its previews yet.

I really wish more was done on toku fansites to deter people from posting spoilers. It's bad enough that we can't discuss episodes without somebody posting rumours, leaks or magazine scans, but can we at least wait until the most recent episode has been subbed before posting spoilers about upcoming things everywhere?

I know magazines and episode previews do recklessly spoil things regardless, but not everyone wants to see those and it's not that hard to put things in a spoiler tag.

Cool pics. I really like PteraRanger too outside of one thing, the different colored joints. I have different shades of pink above the boot on the lower left leg, above the glove on the lower right arm, and half of the pink on the lower left arm. I have no idea why it is like that, especially the half and half one.

It may help to deter spoilers getting into discussions if there was a framework to obey, like a set time limit after the episode airs before discussion is declassified from spoiler status, just a suggestion but im sure it would help.

Sure, it's easy. Just put [ spoiler ] [ /spoiler ] around what the spoiler might be (Without the spaces inside the brackets, of course). When you post, it'll appear to be blacked out until you hover your mouse over it.

To keep things on topic, I picked up ZX and Alternative Zero yesterday. Both nice figures, but ZX's scarf makes me a tiny bit nervous. When I plugged it into the neck hole, the stem of the ball peg immediately showed stress signs.

I'm just telling Talisman he should get what he prefers and my opinion on AC and SHF. I mean I kinda moved on to 12" Medicom Riders myself because I don't have a lot time to play with my toys and I want something that has a more screen accurate Rider to display with.

I'm surprise that they haven't give Kamen Rider Sorcerer a figuart yet. It seems like the summer movie riders have got figuarts.

So, I guess I just miss all the Blade King listings on Mandarake. How much does he usually go for on there?

Hopefully you get one that has an actual queen sticker though for the rouzer as mine came with a king and 2 jacks.
