Bluefin said that they are waiting for license holder to say yes to release the Gaim figuarts and the license holder is also waiting for a reply. I'm starting to get a bit worry that they might not release them since we haven't heard anything yet.

This is the regular process every time a new Rider series happens and is absolutely nothing to worry about. Wherever you read about Bluefin waiting on the license, it should have also been said in the same breath that it's a mere formality and no more.

I think they're all like that. (the second run may be fixed though?) The second jack card is even cut really funny, like it's not the corner, it's the middle of it for some weird reason.

Yeah, they should be. There's really only precedent for new heads for older Figuarts though, so I don't think it'll happen, sadly.

Does anyone know when Hurricane Blue and Yellow are supposed to be released? I know they were always "late January" but usually they're still released with more then 4 days of their designated month left.

The 5000-6000 ones seem to go pretty quickly. Even some (most?) of the 7000 ones sell after a little bit.

So, MMPR Yellow is coming out in the Summer, but I doubt that's gonna be the last we'll see of those bodies.

It wouldn't surprise me if we see metallic versions as an SDCC exclusive…but I wonder if Tamashi would be crazy enough to attempt some the crazier suit variations?

I find it more likely that we'll get a metallic Gokaiger/Super Megaforce set than a reiteration of the MMPR team.

Which... frankly, I'm more on board for, as it'd make getting a complete Gokaiger team MUCH easier and just a bit cheaper. Though I'm not a fan of the metallic paint apps most of the time. Gaim notwithstanding.

Mind you I have no problems with the Wild West Rangers.

If we're going 40$ a Figuart it would still cost the same as the Shinkenger set.

The price of the Shinkenger set is still acceptable though. At 200, they're pretty much around 45$ a Figuarts. Much more reasonable then some of the prices Yellow and Pink tend to go for.

You misunderstand; I'm not saying it isn't, and in fact agree wholeheartedly that it's a good deal, one that I'd be all over it if I had the money. Especially considering I find my appreciation for the suit designs is growing by the day.

I've already sunk about a quarter of that cost into obtaining a Gokai Blue with Darin. I'd love to complete the set at only $200 or so.

I would totally be on board if they did a metallic Gokaigher/Super Megaforce SDCC release. I got the Shinkenger set on sale for $150 including with free shipping around Christmas and love it. And I would totally spend full price on a Gokaiger set.

I also gave into temptation and preordered Gaim and Baron on cdjapan breaking my no Kamen Rider figurarts rule...but I couldn't resist the shiny first edition bonuses XP And I want to collect a figure of each rider from Gaim and this seems like the best option.

Got my Gouraiger set today. I love how it turns out that it's still the Japanese release versions, just that they slapped a sticker on the front of the box with the 'Ninja Storm' moniker. You can even see the original Japanese stuff behind the sticker.

With the next 2-pack coming out this month in Japan, it's a shame they haven't revealed the final member of the team, Sky Ninja Shurikenger. Either do both versions of him separate (or a two-pack), or have his vest be removable and come with two alternate heads.

I'd say they'll probably do Shurikenger with alternate vests. And an extra head. I can't believe he still hasn't been announced yet.

Does Tamashii normally do a set-up for the New York or Nuremburg Toy Fairs?

Shurikenger can wait; Blue Swallow, Yellow Owl and White Swan demand releases! Seriously, I want these guys more then anyone else.

I'm pretty sure there's going to be a setup at the Nuremberg Toy Fair at least, since the Facebook page was hinting pretty heavily at the Super Mario figure being shown off then.

Well, we've seen the Mario set up now. I don't there'd be anything Sentai/PR related and if there is, it'll probably just be the usual MMPR display. WonFes is next Sunday and although that typically focuses on anime (expect a lot of Precure) they are showing Kamen Rider stuff this year, so there's at least hope for there being some Sentai announcements there.

Yes, G3-X is still a good Figuarts. I just got the recent reissue, I've never experienced the figure before, and it is great. It's on par with the Ryuki Figuarts, build-wise, and has a ton of cool accessories.

Okay. I'm soon getting my AkibaBlue in the mail, next week hopefully, and I was wondering what I have to look forward to or need to watch out for.

Finally got an updated checklist with Gaim, Baron, and more.

G3-X is pretty solid. By today's standards it's not as good, but it's still a worthwhile purchase, and the great amount of additional accessories is always nice.

As far as I can tell G3-X's major flaw by today's standards is the accuracy issues with the helmet and proportions.

That's the only bad thing I noticed with it. I wonder if that's enough to justify a renewal. They did release Burning Agito recently, so it's not like they're done with making Agito figuarts. I'm just concerned that if I get it, a renewal will get announced two months later.

I doubt it. If Bandai was going to start a series of renewals of existing Figuarts, they'd most likely continue with main riders first. Plus I have a feeling the G3 molds would be some of the last to get a re-do considering they still hold up quite well in terms of quality.

Really, unless we see a Renewal Agito announced, I wouldn't hold my breath on a renewal G3-X (Granted, Agito desperately needs the Renewal, but it doesn't seem to be on their priority list).

We've only seen Black, RX and Kabuto anyway. Won't know who's priority or not unless we see more renewal announcements.

We can definitely expect renewals of other Kabuto riders, just maybe not right away.

Also, make Kiva anda Hibiki. Actually, do them first. Then new W, then new OOO.

I'd much prefer a renewal OOO, myself, but I think it'd be best to tackle a series with no one released, like Hibiki (At least Kiva has 4 riders released), first.
