W A-Z GaiaMemories of Fate/Eternal! (DC Version)

Damn. Firstly, Eternal kicked just as much ass as I was hoping he would. I love that suit and he was everything I wanted. And I liked seeing Heat, Metal, and the rest as Dopants. I felt bad for Maria. I honestly did. She was one of those villians that wasn't evil, she was just doing something ungodly stupid for what she felt was good reasons. Her son.
And my God.. XTreme Gold, please tell me we see that beauty again! I loved this movie. Start to finish I absolutely loved it. Including seeing Ryuu and Akiko's love blossom. They make a good couple.. even if she is a little off her goard.

You know what put the biggest smile on my face though? Eiji! Seeing OOO make his Debut was brilliant!

I can't believe you didn't mention the best part of the whole movie...

Joker! Seeing Shotaro kick ass all by himself, with a little help from the ghost of Skull, really shows why he makes W what he is. I only wish Shroud had seen him truck on by himself with all the shit she done be talkin' him.

Also, GoldXtreme is a movie exclusive. It does show up at the end of War Core. Where it's actually activated by accident when a massive rush of underground steam shoots an updraft at W.

Not quite as dramatic as the winds of the city rushing to save their protector, but hey, wind is wind.

There was alot to remember for an old Man :lol But yes, that was awesome. But I was disappointed it wasn't Skull's actor. I guess they couldn't get him to do a second and a half cameo as he walked out the door.

Speaking of Shroud.. that part with her at the end of the DC confused me. What was I looking at?

Raito is Dead.. I honestly never saw that coming. I also never saw Terror's headpiece becoming this flying monster of awesome coming either. Shroud though. Showing up to that dinner solely to save Raito by telling him to trust Shotaro/ She trolls like a Tendou :lol

Watching Accel use the HardBoiler's Wing Part though was truely awesome, and an idea I wish they'd used sooner.

If there is one thing I have learned about Kamen Rider movies, it is that the Director's Cuts are completely worthless. Usually every 1 out of 10 minutes is even worth it. Most of the time it is pointless crap that was cut for a reason because it slows down the pacing of an already slow movie.

W Ep 46-47-48 Finale

I'm going to spoiler all of this for those of you who haven't watched yet. .. Seriously, watch this damn show.

Just when you think you're done tearing up W laughs and off you go again.

Utopia was a good final villian. He was near-unstoppable, a jackass, and completely heartless. And his plan for Gaia Impact wasn't a horrible one. Aside from the part where 2/3 of humanity dies.
But man.. the feels. I was holding it together but then Philip died. Seeing him start to close the driver, then Shotaro saying No.. he'd do it. And the whole episode Shotaro unable to Henshin because he knows hearing Jokah means that his best friend dies.. And then 48 comes along. I'm enjoying the W send off. Smiling.. And then W pulls a W and Philip shows up! And that scene with his family.. And I tear up again >_<

I should've watched this when we did Let's Watch Wedsnesdays. ... Going to miss these guys ._.

You know what's sad though? I knew Philip didn't die going in because I watched that Den-O and OOO movie. :lol And it still got me >_< Wtf?!

EDIT: Had some thoughts about Gaia Memories before I went to bed here.

In A-Z those 26 refined memories that Eternal had, couldn't they have been put into the W Driver? They were just like the ones they used already. Imagine those combinations..

And Saeko said something. She said when utopia implanted his memory that only their family could use Gold Memories. That got me thinking that that's why the GaiaMemories each had different color borders. They were colored according to rank and strength. I think, anyway.

I liked that Utopia wasn't completley heartless, until he killed Saeko. At that point he just didn't care, he had nothing to love anymore. Even though he had a minor part, I quite liked Utopia as a character and villain.

Also yeah, the border colour dictates the strength or rarity of Dopant memories. And since drivers slightly decrease the power allowed by memories, W and the Sonozakis all use the strongets memories. That's whay Saeko so quickly masters Nazca when she uses it without a belt.

Yeah, Shotaro closing the driver gets me every time. His actor REALLY knows how to put emotion into his performance. He looked like he was really witnessing his closest friend die. Then afterward, when he opened the present and saw Philip's book and the Lost Driver... man, it got me again.

And since you mentioned it, any regular-sized memory can't fit in the W driver, even Dopant ones. They wouldn't, though, because thay're unrefined and, well, create Dopants instead of riders. I think the only reason the AtoZ memories looked the way they did was because Foundation X was trying to make memories of the same power level as W's, even though they still need a first or second generation driver in order to create riders.

Something about the Neo-Heisei Riders and bringing the feels.. W, OOO, Fourze.. Okay not Wizard. Wizard was devoid of emotion.

And that sucks. I would've loved to see some crazyass T2 combos :lol

I like to think a lot of Kamen Rider Wizard's problems was due to playing it safe.

I don't know if there's just one cause for Wizard's problems. I tend to think that a part of it due to the show having to be mangled to fit into the Den-O pattern, which had clearly worn out its welcome. Part of it was due to the show's most pivotal character being largely absent for most of the show's run. Mostly, though, I think it was a case of the show having a split personality: part of it wanted to be a serious action drama, part of it wanted to be a screwball comedy, and both parts clashed horribly with each other.

Watched X Episode 3, and man this is gruesome. Hercules was a very brutal foe to even make Keisuke bleed. However I love how brutal X Rider was to combat Hercules and even knocked him to the ground, he is one badass Rider. I am really enjoying this so far.

Oh.... Kota.. you're back!

Wow, they really fleshed out Micchy in the 2 episodes he had his origin story. Baron's kind of a dick, and this episode potrayed him as not the good kind. I also liked that Baron used the 2 Acorn lockseeds to summon nondescript Invess, so maybe later on, Riders will probably be using 3 lockseeds at once, a lockseed for transformation, a lockseed for Musou saber and a lockseed for an Invess fighting with them.

That last thing makes it kinda like Ryuki with the contract monsters

Nah, Wizard definitely played it safe. We should have gotten to see SOMEONE turn into a Phantom, just once. It would have made far more sense for that to be the plot that gives Haruto Infinity instead of Koyomi since she didn't even do anything for 20 episodes straight at that point.

BTW, has X actually been subbed beyond the first episode?

The first 6 are subbed, the rest I hear have some problems to them I'll see when I get to them.

Watched X episode 4 and still loving it. Medusa was very creepy and very dark for a villain, all of G.O.D. is so far. Also the action is really good here too, nothing like beating down a foot soldier with a metal staff. Keisuke is a really nice and awesome character, he seems to befriend people easily. Also doesn't mind throwing a foot soldier into a car-crusher thing that's name escapes me at the moment.

Watched Episodes 5 and 6 of Kamen Rider X and they were awesome. Keisuke met Tachibana for the first time and this is my first time meeting this character (I think) but I know he's a big part of the Showa Era. Keisuke is totally awesome and I am so in love with this series. I am intrigued with the look-a-likes of Kiriko and Ryoko and what's going on there. I love how G.O.D. contacts their generals with random objects that blow up, reminds me of Inspector Gadget, lol. The Ridol is such an awesome weapon and very effective forms.

Watched episode 7 just now and this the change to the bad subtitles, and man these are in broken english, however the video quality is really nice. It's going to be a bit difficult but I still enjoyed the episode and great to learn a little more from the Kiriko/Ryoko thing. Man, G.O.D. is dark, I'm glad Keisuke kicks their ass. Also great to see new moves and great use of the Ridol Rope.

Fun bit of X Rider trivia: the actor who played Keisuke and the actress who played Ryoko/Kiriko got married in real life. Their son even auditioned for the lead role on Kamen Rider Agito.

The more I watch Ryuki, the more I'm starting to like Kitoaka. He's just so entertaining to watch in all of his egotistical assholeliness.

Kitoaka is a great character.

He next to Shimada is definitely my favorite character of Ryuki so far.

Watched X episode 8 and wow I'm not used to shit like that happening so early in the series, huge answers all ready and huge plotlines. Wow just wow, I feel so bad for Keisuke, G.O.D. picked the wrong guy to fuck with. Intrigued to see Apollo Geist I was waiting for him to show up since I've seen him in Decade.

Just finished 30 of Ryuki. Kitaoka and Megumi...still a better love story then Twilight.

Oh yeah... I forgot that happened in episode 8. It seemed kind of abrupt, but I guess the writers didn't think they could get much more out of the storyline.

And Apollo Geist is awesome.
