Well besides keeping up with Gaim I'm currently watching watching Blade and am up to episode 8. I really don't get all the complaints I've heard about Blade's first episodes being slow. So much action happens in each episode and it's building up such a good mystery while still giving enough answers to keep me satisfied. Also despite having so many 'main' characters they each stand out with their own personality and motivations.
Then again I just finished watching 555 so I might just be happy to finally have a show where things are actually happening XP. There were things I loved about 555 but the middle episodes just killed me, and normally I don't even mind a slower pace I got through Wizard just fine after all. |

I actually love Faiz a lot, and I thought a lot happened through out it but I enjoyed the characters a lot and viewed it differently. |
Finished X Episode 21, and that was a fantastic end of Apollo Geist, and I think my favorite episode of X. It was like he went through a Capcom game fighting the monsters again. He was just investing finishing moves out of the woodwork, which was totally awesome. Really showed off both Keisuke and Apollo Geist, great fight and end for him. Totally intrigued to see who King Dark is and where this goes from here. I think I heard of him from either a future series or the Manga I'm not sure.
UPDATE: Finished X episode 22, and wow the series has gotten much better with King Dark, the plan from the villain Genghis Khan-Condor was great, the action was great, and the storytelling got better. Really picked up with that last episode and this one. I feel they got the focus on to Keisuke, Tachibana, Chiko, and Mako instead of random people and that helped. I see I am on the Historical figure villains and love it. Genghis Khan-Condor would only been better if he was Genghis Khan-dor lol. Oh how I love you X Rider. After watching more of Kamen Rider X, I am starting feel that Kuuga definitely had some Showa era elements to it a lot. Probably why I enjoyed Kuuga a lot and X a lot too. Figured out where I saw King Dark from before today's episode, he's a boss in the All Kamen Rider Generation 2 game for the PSP that I've been playing. I thought he looked familiar. X definitely has great, stand out Villains. |
Alright so I may be overdoing it but.....
Finishing Wizard, Catching up on Gaim, and watching Kuuga. So far all three have been good. |
Yay another person who likes Wizard.

Really my big problem with Faiz was the villains, Lucky Clover was a joke. Sure they were intimidating at first but even as early as episodes in the twenties had them often losing or tying with the heroes. I almost gave up on Faiz after Saeko and Takuma try and threaten Smart Brain's president when he treats them as just underlings saying that they were the ones who were powerful and that they had stolen both Faiz and Kaxia belt. Which was simply not true as Kaido stole both of the belts which was something they hadn't been able to do, and then they lost the belts while using them which made them extra pathetic as they tried to act like they were some big bads. The fact that the next string of episodes had the plot going in circles with useless melodrama due to people just not talking to each other (which would of helped keep the plot from going in circles)and the only reason for most of the fight scenes was due to Lucky Clover trying to get a new member, who kept dying in the fights. But I made it through and the latter episodes more than made up for it, |

Yeah now that I can agree with you on the plot, but from what I've learned from reading up on the shows on TVTropes.com (Be careful you'll be there for hours) is that in Japanese Culture you don't normally express your feelings so that's why they don't talk as they should Takumi and Kiba. Which leads to Kusaka finding them easily manipulable. I know the plot kind of had the run around a bit, but I felt the duality they did a lot with both sets of main characters was done exceptionally well. Also lots of not talking about things lead to some very funny parts too. It felt very realistic to me because I went through a period of having friends who didn't talk and had lots of drama, and sometimes still do. However you absolutely have me that Lucky Clover was a joke, except for Saeko, and I absolutely loved Kitazaki, The Dragon Orphenoch he was strange and something else. I think the most wasted thing of Faiz was Delta honestly. It should've been someone who could've been useful with it besides Mihara. I think Kaidou or Kiba could've pulled off being Delta very easily. Also if you loved the characters in Faiz, than you will absolutely love the characters of Blade, I think they are absolutely some of the best. |

Watched Kamen Rider X Episode 23, and now we have Toad Goemon, who actually helped me learn more about Goemon. I figured that Mystical Ninja was based on the real person Goemon and might look more into him from this episode, great to learn about history in this show. Keisuke was great in this episode, I love how he laughed off the first GOD soldier and just kicked ass. Love how he figures things out, he is turning into one of my favorite Riders. King Dark is much more threatening right now and I can't believe that we have a continuing story with the Ares Design right now. It definitely has stepped up it's game.

Watched X 24 and am completely loving the quest and fight over the Design drawing pieces between King Dark and X Rider. Scorpion Geronimo is just a jackass that I am glad got the X Kick lol. Keisuke was in top form in this episode, I just love how he laughs at the enemies, he's very cocky, confident, and intuitive. Also totally badass grabbing Scorpion Geronimo's tomahawk out of midair, grabbing an arrow out of midair, and disarming a G.O.D. henchman and using his spear to knock out other henchmen. X Rider is very impressive. Onto Kabuto/Rhino Beetle Lupin next. I can't wait to see Starfish Hitler lol.

Finished Episode 4 of Kuuga and I am looking forward to the rest. The monster design was much better compared to the first too and it looked like there was old school motorbike fighting which was cool.

Finished all Den-O episodes (still have to watch the rest of the movies).
It was kinda... meh. Most of what happened didn't really make sense or was just a contradiction to what was said earlier. It kinda felt like Kobayashi got lost somewhere in the plot. Yuuto and Deneb were kinda adorable though, I think the scenes having them were the only parts of the finale that actually were emotional for me. |
I´m proud of you :lol
Here take this cookie. |

So far, I've seen three of them xD Let's go Kamen Riders (when I watched OOO), Chou Den-O and Decade (when I watched Decade- the movie that made me hate the imagin, lol- except for Teddy, Deneb and Sieg, of course) and Ore Tanjou (because it takes place during Den-O).

Watched X 25 or should I say tried to watch it because the Subtitles were so sped up that I barely had any idea what was going on but I got the gist of it with Keisuke rescuing the two kids with the Design drawing that was transferred to their backs. Keisuke seemed closer to finding out more about the Professor and who he sent the design drawings to as well. Kabuto Lupin seemed very interesting and X Rider definitely took him out in a very fun way. I need to figure out my video player in case this happens again. Also really excited to see Starfish Hitler next episode he seems like a very dominant threat.
Also after the episode I looked up Arsène Lupin, who sounds a very interesting, and awesome character, a Gentleman Thief. I am actually learning interesting things about historical figures and characters from this show. That is so awesome. |
Finished episodes 5 and 6 of Kuuga and they were really good. The monster design was a nice twist on the grasshopper that usually represents a hero. It was also nice to see Godai realize that his dragon form has drawbacks like any good form change should.

Almost done with Kamen Rider Black. Into the 40s.

Just watched Kamen Rider × Kamen Rider Wizard & Fourze: Movie War Ultimatum. While enjoyable, not really that good and a wee bit on the long side.
The thing I absolutely could not stand were all the gratuitous butt shots that is so prevalent that it becomes like a weird fetish of someone in charge. Who exactly was responsible for all these? |
Done with Den-O. The Chou Trilogy was kinda boring, except for Episode Blue. Saraba Den-O and Climax Deka were also pretty average. Though the Kiva scenes in CD were kinda cool.

My life is more complete now I have watched the Kiva Adventure DVD part with IXA-Cise! And now I miss Kiva, and Nago, and Otoya and everything about that show! lol

Watched X Episode 26 and Starfish Hitler was absolutely hilarious in design and a great villain who had good plans against Keisuke but Keisuke was absolutely brilliant with his own plans using the doubles to trick G.O.D. Great to see the Ridol Whip can generate electricity through it, and the Underwater fight was totally awesome to see! I watched this episode with my bro and friends because they just wanted to see Starfish Hitler and two of them really enjoyed it, it was their first experience of Showa Era Rider and wanted to watch more. Can't wait for more.
UPDATE: Just finished episode 27 of X and wow it was great to see a Recap of the Kamen Rider series and Kamen Rider V3, that was nice to see bits and pieces of Ichigou, Nigo, V3 and RiderMan in action. Also huge surprise that V3 actually come in and help out Keisuke, Double the Riders make it definitely more fun. I cannot wait for more V3 and X together. Random Question: Any reason why he is still called RiderMan and not Kamen Rider No.4? I mean I know he is honored as the 4th Kamen Rider I'm just wondering why he was never called it. |

And Riderman is called Riderman because that's his superhero name. Yes, he's an honorary Kamen Rider, but that doesn't change his name (especially since the Kamen Rider title was granted posthumously). |
Kuuga Episode 7 and 8! Pretty good, dark, and real. I liked seeing the late head professors widow and daughter, who are both treated fairly and realistically with their grief. Also the grongi have no clue how humans or linto dress. I guess it's supposed to be that way to show how they different from us but they could try a bit harder to blend in.
Also Pegasus form is revealed!..... And then Godai suffers from sensory overload which once again, I like. He's getting powers he doesnt how to use and is thus not prepared for their disadvantages. Though I did laugh at his "I'm green now?" line since he is kinda holding on for dear life at that point |
Kamen Rider Gaim episode 3, i agree with that one member of Baron when saying that Gaim is cheating.
|
Kuuga Episodes 9 and 10! Well these episodes locked up the idea in my head and threw away the key. Kuuga is an utter bad ass here and is now among my favorite riders.
There are also realistic issues with his sister and the Grongi are facing problems with the police. Great two episodes really |

I'm currently watching W and am at the 39-40 ep. mark. I will say it is pretty cool but some things in my opinion could of been executed better.
It is currently my 2nd favorite rider show nex to Gaim('cause who doesn't love Gaim?). Though it is my third series so what do I know! But after W I'll move on to finally after forever to finish up OOO,then either finish Fourze or move on to Ryuki. Choices choices. |
Been rewatching Ryuki, still my favorite season, one of my personal favorite shows period honestly.
Was thinking of checking out Hibiki. I haven't really heard much opinion on it though, what's the general consensus? And for the record, I do know that the whole "wasn't originally a Kamen Rider season" thing is BS. |
