Ahhh I remember hating the Disney era because of their lack of promotions of the franchise. Which is weird when Saban bought back the franchise, we'd get more promotions but the quality took a dive instead. Even if till this day I still hate Operation Overdrive, it still is a solid and coherent season.

However the cynic part in me is afraif that Hasbro era will make me appreciate Neo-Saban era. God I hope not.

My biggest concern is that Beast Morphers still has that same feel of trying to be like MMPR except having a good story and characters this time, which I fear is going to continue in future seasons.

Honestly in terms of production Saban era actually got better from Turbo onwards, where you can feel like there's an increase in quality. There's still the cheesiness, that is PR's dna, but it's not as bad as MMPR.

Also please just move out from NZ. Or at least use well known voice actors, I can't stand Steel's voice.

I think operation overdrive should be called relic hunters.

While I agree with this sentiment, the Green with Evil saga very much suddenly made me care about the non fighting stuff, which showed they were trying.
If Neo-Saban did something like that, the ranger would turn back to the heroes side by the end of the very episode they're introduced.

The Green Ranger was not bad, but it should have been two episodes. Re-watching it was a chore because it felt like it went on forever.

Nowadays compared to Neo-Saban seasons it looks like a masterpiece. I guess the biggest sore spot is that the characters are very unlikeable. But even that at least Mack has a better character arc than Tyler and Brody.

Maybe it's just my vague memories, or living in the UK, but I remember there being a fair bit of Power Rangers promotion for the Disney era. Like, I can remember promos for SPD and OO airing fairly often, and I vividly remember seeing an advert for something unrelated, and being hyped for, the premiere of OO! RPM definitely got messed around, that was on at an awful time, but promotion definitely existed enough to target children.

At least, i agree this time.

I think they missed the mark by not tying Andrew Hartford into either lightspeed rescue or being someone tommy met in college. Never could figure out how else he got his ranger tech
