Okay, I had $3 (And nine cents) on my 3DS, so I got the Dream Radar game to get the Genies, so I don't need to worry about them any more.

It's shiny, level 100, has literally perfect stats, and is in a luxury ball... In other words, it's undeniably hacked.

Oddly, it let me transfer Chaos (Darkrai) but not Peace (Shaymin) despite the fact I caught both of them in my Japanese Diamond. Weird

This Dream Radar is rather baffling. I'm using it to get the Forces of Nature, but how it operates throws me off.

It's built like a cell phone game, you know, incredibly fast gameplay where you get a limited number of plays before you hit the so called "Pay wall," where you can either wait out the clock to continue playing or pay to instantly keep playing.

So it wants to charge the player via micro payments? No, it uses 3DS Play Coins, which are acquired by walking...It imposes a 3 use limit before you can't reset the clock with Play Coins for 24 hours.

It's built so much like a phone game, but the designers didn't know why they were building it like that. You start with 10 clouds per level, giving you a tiny amount of dream orbs to obtain, you have to wait 5 minutes for 1 cloud to respawn (Giving you a little under an hour to wait just to play again), when you do play, you get barely any actual game time, and the levels are restricted by needing the player to get an absurd amount of orbs (3000 for Landorus? When you upgrade the scope to about 20 clouds, it doesn't sound like a lot, until you have to sit for 100 minutes just to bust the clouds, and with clouds overlapping, you often end up losing dream orbs).

It has wall (Low initial cloud amount) after wall (Long wait times) after wall (Limited timer bypasses) after wall (Incredibly high orb cost for upgrades) after wall (Absurdly high orb requirements to receive more levels) for little reason.
It's funny. I actually have fun playing it, but the game just doesn't want me to play xD

Dream Radar always seemed like it would be absolute torture, but hey, that is one way to get them.

Oh lord, that is quite the obscure area...

And, hysterically, I'm having fun with Dream Radar...When it lets me play. If they did it in a less gimmicky manner (Not having the player need to stand in the middle of the room, remove all the limitations, etc) and put a little more depth into it, they'd have a pretty decent game with nice connectivity. It's most definitely not for everyone, but I think if they tweaked it, it could work.

My brother has had dream radar since launch... He hasn't touched it at all.

It's a good way to net the Forces of Nature without chasing them down in game.

I've managed to acquire on the GTS (after ditching that hacked shiny) what I assume are two legit Tornadus and a Thundurus. The Therian Formes (...which again makes Dream Radar useful of course...) are pretty cool now that I can finally have them.

I've gotten some good Pokemon off the GTS, but my luck has run out, recently. Either that, or Raikou has suddenly just become super powerful over the Generation shift...

Looking at Landorus right now since for some reason my Zapdos won't move for one and holy fucking shit are there a lot of shinies on the GTS for it.

I'm positive not a single one is legitimate.

Now that Bank's fully out I almost want to just step away from the GTS again since I just hate hacked stuff and don't want them on my games...

But it's the only way I'll get a Shaymin and Manaphy, but there aren't even any of those listed at all.

I'm not investing my time in PKMN Bank since I can't transfer all the Shiny Pokémon I slaved over a hot Action Replay to obtain then max out to LV100, so either I wait until I can hack Pokémon Bank, wait until I can get the necessary codes for X/Y, or I stick with my Black 2 version and not bother with Generation VI at all.

I'm pretty sure as long as the Pokemon themselves seem legitimate you can pass them.

That's so weird! Obviously, Diamond never got a legit release of either of those, so perhaps it's because of the Fateful Encounter flag being so critical to Sky Forme (even though a D/P Shaymin would still have it) that Nintendo was so much more strict about it, while Darkrai has no reason for such restriction so it was no big deal to let it through.

Hot damn, am I having fun transferring many of my old Pokémon to X with the Bank! Right now, I'm focused on getting some of the best, harder to find and the legends, but eventually I'll sort through them enough that I'll complete a living 'dex and then begin to ensure that my old teams are immortalized. I'll be honest, there's a little part of me that feels touched at the heartwarming idea proposed in the Pokémon Direct of being able to share my old favorites with future generations. *sniff*

I know from first hand experience that you can't. A friend of mine gave me a hacked shiny Deoxys, and it didn't transfer.

Put up a Feebas for a Virizion a while back. It didn't push, but I didn't really have much else to do so I left it.
Went to the GTS to look for Raikou again, and, lo and behold, I got a Korean Virizion for that Feebas.
I'm so angry...I can get the bird trio, Virizion, a Spanish Palkia. But Raikou is suddenly the Pokemon gold mine?

Do you need Raikou just for Dex data? because I can get you both normal and shiny if you want.

Matrix, when you get the forces of nature from Dream Radar, can you let me know what level they're at? I'm a little curious about that because of the frequency of level 5's I see for those three on the GTS that just do not seem right...

Their levels are dependent on the game they're transferred to, connected the amount of badges that game has.

So if you have no badges, they're at level 5, but if you have all 8, like I do, they're at 40.

But it means those are probably legit then... and I could remove the stipulation that the Landorus I want be "61-70" (being 70 in B/W), huh?
