Dairanger wasn't skipped. Some of it's components were used, like the Zords.

There's nothing saying a season can't be skipped, it just needs to use assets from that season. Stuff that sells toys.

For some reason i want somebody to draw the two reds from Dairanger and Gobusters sitting in a bar with Red gobuster having a very depressed like posed and the red dairanger pating him on the back.

and I'm not sure what could be used...Go-Busters and Kyoryuger are very different aesthetics-wise.

That's true. But people are reading "what Saban said" as incorrect. A certain percentage of footage has to be used, not full on seasons or themes even.

I can see skipping Go-busters as being a decision brought up by BoA, more so than Saban. It is well known that the toy sales weren't great so I wonder if Bandai stepped in and said they didn't want to risk a second year of poor sales with Go-busters. Either way, I'm just glad to see the Dinos are coming sooner, rather than later. Now, where is Tommy Oliver fitting into all of it.
