That's precisely why I watched episodes 12 and 13 today. Not sure what's going on with this bath house towel whip thing, but I'll take Matrixbeast's word for the quality of this show. :p
I'm not really like this hawk guy though. He's not really menacing anymore, considering Rio totally had the power to kill him in the same episode he appeared. His design really reminds me of that one guy from Shinkenger, too.

I guess he bears a passing resemblance to Akumaro?

So, I had thought I deleted the like, 12 gigs of Gosei stuff I had on my laptop to make room for more Go-On.
Turns out, I deleted the first 12 or so episodes of Go-Onger :I
So...Yeah. I guess I'll be downloading that again. Let's hope it moves a little faster this time around...

I went into that episode fully expecting it to be one of the most insufferable 25 minutes of my life. Instead it somehow turned out fairly enjoyable. I largely credit the fact that I cannot hate any episode of Dekaranger where Umeko gets the main focus. She's just too damn fun.

I also love Umeko. She's very cute and not nearly as annoying as people make her out to be. The Murphy debut episode was just perfect because of her. The duck alien episode wasn't nearly as awful as I thought it would be. Still a little goofy but by no means bad.

And everyone cries manly tears at the end of Jetman.

Just finished that Ran Mama episode of Geki. I'm upset that Mele was actually doing something during this episode. She would've made some fantastic comic relief for this episode.

With Jetman over I'm going back to Dekaranger. Man, is it cool having DekaBreak be an actual character and not a floating ball of cheap CGI.

Also snagged GUIS's complete Zyuranger torrent, so that'll be up on deck next.

Agreed. It's a welcome change from SPD. Dekaranger has been fantastic so far for me. Haven't had much to complain about honestly, other than video and audio quality :lol

The Bouken/Geki crossover is one of my favorites believe it or not. Even with how lukewarm I feel towards Gekiranger it's still a great movie. It picks up after Boukengers finale so don't watch until you finish the show.

That means that the Bouken crossover will probably be packed with Gekiranger...

I wouldn't mind that, especially after how much I fucking despised the Blue Ranger in Operation Overdrive. What makes me apprehensive about Yellow is that everything I've heard paints her as one of those hyperactive, childish genki girls that I cannot stand in tokusatsu. Like Akiko from W.

I rather like Akiko but I don't think Natsuki is nearly as hyperactive as her most of the time. She's a bit childish from time to time but her character has quite a bit of depth what with the amnesia.

Oh man, I just finished the Super Gekiranger arc. I can see why you like this show so much, Matrix. I'm not even at Geki Violet and this show is becoming one of my favorites.

I can't think up a proper response because the only thing going through my head is Kougami screaming "WONDERFUL!" in Japanese. :lol

Oh, and the first 18 episodes of Bouken finished downloading. Not sure if I'm gonna start it tonight or wait until morning, though.

And Dekabaserobo arrives. Way better plot than it's debut in SPD. But goddamn all that english during transformation. The Dekabase voice guy is hilariously bad. "Dekabase Robot, Stand up." :lol

I have to be honest, I really didn't like Boukenger. Half the cast were boring and underdeveloped, while the other half were just plain annoying. There were so many villains that none of them were ever really around enough to properly grab my attention (doesn't help that the best ones were the last ones to arrive and the first to leave) and while I really liked the concept of the series, most of the episodes themselves felt pretty forgettable.

The mecha, the initial Bouken Silver arc and the episode with the monster that didn't want to be evil were about the only saving graces for me.

The one reason I like Boukenger so much,is cause I personally feel it's better then Operation Overdrive.For now that's the only thing I'm watching.I've gotta catch up on all the other series.

I will give it that much, as boring as I found Boukenger it didn't want to make me claw my eyes out like Operation Overdrive did.

What Matrixbeaxt is to Gekiranger I am to Boukenger. It pains me to hear it called boring. Although the middle of the series is pretty damn slow. Still love it :)
