I'm playing the Demo for Phoenix Wright: Dual Destinies. I am also playing Pokémon Y. |
Dynasty Warriors Gundam: I hate the Grypos 2 mission with a burning passion. Not only do I get ganged up on by Haman and Scirroco, but when I do finally manage to beat both the Argama gets destroyed. And the AI in this game is useless. Char should be able to hold his own, why do I have to save him?

Pokemon X.

Dark Souls.
Now this game is starting to piss me off too. I'm now in Anor Londo and have switched my main weapon to the Gargoyle Halaberd. But my main problem with this area is those FUCKING ARCHERS. Those arrows are huge and every time I try to run up and kill one of them, I either get hit with ridiculous damage or my shield blocks and I have a knockback that won't end the animation until the split second before the next arrow comes. Mind you, THERE'S TWO OF THEM. So I'm stuck.... again Pokemon Y. Game's moving a lot faster then I expected. I like the sprites but it annoys me when the 3D light keeps switching on and off when i go in and out of battle. I named my Froakie Epyon. Like the Epyon Gundam from Wing. |
Working through the Wind Waker HD remake and have reached probably my most hated section of the entire game. Involves a Temple puzzle building a path of boxes to carry a lit torch across constantly rising water. If you get the torch even close to the water, it goes out. If you run out of sticks you have to leave the room and try to set things up all over again.

Picked up Alan Wake today and man. I finished the first episode and I definitely will be enjoying this game.

I am glad that my Wii U's internet is working A-OK again, but I do have a quick question about TV Tropes and said system. I want to be able to read the spoilers but I can't get the damn pad to highlight text.
I've tried looking it up on GameFAQS. Of course they're too busy pissing and moaning on the boards to be much help. Can anyone tell me how to highlight text with the Wii U gamepad? |
More Apollo Justice, almost done with Case 3.
|
Was farting about in Okami when I randomly drew the infinity shape and, to my surprise, found out I already had the Fireburst ability.
I finally realized what point I was at in the game after back tracking to 3 prior story points and realizing I had finished them, too. So, huzzah! |
Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate.
Playing some of this online again reminds me why this series is great and fun. I'm still halfway through 1st tier on G-rank and probably won't finish the game until Monster Hunter 4 comes out in the U.S. Dark Souls. Those two bosses are annoying. I finally got past the archers and opened the gates to the castle and guess what, another duo is annoying me, this time the Not-chicken man from Twilight Princess with a hammer. Along with this lightning lord. Did anybody replay Dark Souls once they were done? Because I'm not a glutton for punishment more then I have to in order to finish the game Kingdom hearts Final Mix HD I finally found out what to do and I had to hit some stupid pole in order to unlock a cutscene so I could advance. This game is BS sometimes. Don't hate it though. Pokemon Y. Have my 6th gym badge and tried out Pokemon Amie for the first time. Its really cute with all the Pokemon cuddling and being happy. I'm primarily happy with pokemon as a game because it refreshes me to not only be playing a pokemon game after so long, but also playing a game I'm able to beat. |
I started case 1 of Phoenix Wright Duel Destinies, and I like what i'm seeing so far. The new animations for all the characters look a little bit weird at first so that's gonna take some getting use too.
And because it finally dropped in price, I decided to get Unchained Blades, a game I've always procrastinated in getting. The game is pretty much plays like Etrian Odyssey, a game I know everyone likes but I've just been kinda meh on. The story interested me though…it's about an all power and arrogant Dragon Emperor that suddenly looses all of his powers after challenging a life-creating goddess and needs to learn a little humility in order to get his powers back. |

Oh Amaterasu. Origin of all that is good and mother to us all. I love me some Okami~ |
I want to love Okami... I mean from all the reviews I've read and all I've seen I should... But I made the mistake of playing it on the Wii and spent literally hours trying do the stupid slash/cutting bit where you have to time it with the swordsman's slashes. Never did it, just gave up and left a bad taste in my mouth.
And because of that I never bothered playing the DS game either =[ |
Learned something random in GTAV. If you get into a cab and choose a custom waypoint that's smackdab over a body of water, choose trip-skip and the cab will appear twenty feet over the ocean and you'll plummet straight into it.

You should play it on PS2 or the HD edition. It's so much better with a controller. |
Can't wait to play Call of Duty: Ghosts soon.

The drawing gimmick is a lot of fun, too, and you get tons of creative powers. It's fun. And Ammy is such a cutie. Origin of all that is good and mother to us all~ It's also the first game with a female main character that I enjoy because it can't rely on the sex appeal of it's protagonist. |

And the Z shape is actually forward > down > down-forward. The difficulty of inputting it depends on the game and how much input leniency it has (Many players input forward > Quarter circle forward, but some games need you to stop precisely at the down-forward mark). |
Still can't high light text with the Wii U's gamepad. For some dumb reason my laptop won't load TV Tropes anymore and I really need to learn how to highlight text so I can read the spoilers.
Please don't blow me off again for talks of that crapfeast Call of Duty. Sorry if this seems forceful but I'm getting frustrated. |

AC4 is very quickly going to consume all of my free time.
Just a quick glimpse at all of the optional locations stunned me. This world looks to be truly massive and I hope I'm not disappointed. |
Ive been playing The Serect World. an interesting game and a lot of fun.

My thoughts on GTA V (Spoiler Tagged for those who haven't played yet)
I'll start this with the characters. Micheal, Franklin, and Trevor, are so different that changing between them makes the game that much more fun. Micheal's family provides alot of comedy, intentional and unintentional. Franklin's trying to make something of himself provides alot of the story. And Trevor is.. Trevor is Chaos walking on Two Legs. The Strangers and Random events you come across are fun to. Some of them even help you gain Heist Members for your team when you pull jobs. Sadly there's only four jobs and you can't choose to hit something. It's all story related. One of the downfalls of the game, really. The sheer amount of hobbies (Golf, Tennis, even Yoga), races (Off-Road, JetSkis, and Off-Roading), and collections (UFO parts, Submarine parts, a Confession letter), make 100%ing this game a real chore. But worth it. You can own a submarine and explore the ocean with it or scuba gear, you can buy all manner of aircraft and fly through Los Santos and the Alamo Sea. The game itself is beautiful. Photo realistic scenary, exploring under the sea is just breath-taking. One word of warning though.. when going into a strip club and asking for a private dance, remember that the dancers in this are topless now. So watch who's around you :lol Loved the game. (And if you want the best ending choose Option C, trust me on this) |
Dynasty Warriors 8 and Fallout 3.
Dynasty Warriors 8...isn't that great. It's still basically the same as any other Dynasty Warriors game, which is great for us fans, but a lot of the most basic problems still haven't been ironed out. Objectives are usually vague and hard to follow, the maps are basically giant mazes to create the illusion of space but just mean you end up getting lost a lot, the map is still impossible to read properly, co-op still never works as well as the concept would seem and this new weapon equip and switch business means characters feel less unique. Blah. Fallout 3 was a game that disappointed me a lot the first time around, but after completing New Vegas I've been itching to play it again. Today by random chance I found the GOTY with all the expansions and stuff and picked it up. Even though I've played like two hours already, I've barely scratched the surface and I love that. |
