Another one who decided to just pretend those movies never happened? :lol

I only saw the second one, and that was more Johnny Storm And His Power-Mushrooms: Rise of the Silver Surfer.

I saw bits and pieces of the first one, and it wasn't that impressive.

The second one really sucked. And it wasnt just the "Galactus is now a cloud" thing :lol

The whole power switch gimmick was poorly done since technically instead of combining them all into Johnny it should have switched between them without actually achieving something. All the powers staying inside Johnny does not work given the rules established in the movie :lol

Oh and Doom Surfer was extremely silly and not nearly as bad ass as his comic counterpart.

Doctor Doom in general should have been handled a lot better in the movies.

But the Silver Surfer was cool.

Yeah the Surfer was the only thing that didnt completely suck. The one thing though I still dont like is that he cant call for his board in the movie.

They showed that in the post-credits scene.

I never saw that since we dont get to see the credits on television over here.

If thats the case though the movie has gotten even dumber :lol

Yeah this makes the whole thing of him getting captured and seperated from his board even worse :lol

Eh.

At least they'll have a chance to fix the problems of that series with the reboot.

I hope so. The cast looks solid.

What confounds me is that they're filming in Louisiana.

It could be that it's in a studio, but still... Louisiana?

My knowledge of the american landscape isnt that great but I guess that this is something bad :lol

They're filming in Baton Rouge, which seems urban enough, but I would think that they would film in New York. It's not bad per se, just... odd.

Then again, I probably won't notice the difference.

Maybe New York got too crowdy now that Marvel is filming their Netflix shows there :lol

I guess that makes sense. :lol

Prior to this EW, did we know Rhodey was in Age of Ultron? I hope it's more than a cameo. While we're at it, he really needs his own flick. Don Cheadle is amazing.

Also Superior Iron Man? Normal Iron Man's hard to root for; can you imagine how a Superior version will be like? He'd make SpOck look like a Care Bear.

Oh, and I read Kraven's Last Hunt. I loved it, but I think Maximum Carnage is still the penultimate Spider-Man story. This one, however, is the definitive Kraven the Hunter story.

There's been rumors of Sony and Disney making a truce and allowing Spidey to be in Avengers 3, so this gives a bit more credence to the rumor since Avengers 3 might come out in 2018 as well

... Well. That sucks.

I don't see how releasing a Sinister Six movie before introducing the entirety of the Sinister Six is going to work.

Those rumors have been circulating for years. I won't believe them until I see legitimate confirmation that they are more than just rumors.

The way I understood how this is supposed to work was that the rest will be introduced in the S6 movie.

This kinda shows that Sony is slowly losing control of this franchise. First Orci exits the project and now they push the movie back this far? Yeah that pretty much screams that they have no idea anymore what the hell they are doing.

If this does mean that Marvel Studios regains the rights to Spider-Man, I'd be willing to sacrifice The Amazing Spider-Man franchise, dearly as I love it. I just hope they keep Andrew Garfield.

However, if Marvel Studios decides to recast Spidey... they should give me a call.
