Anyone remember what is needed to make a Bulkwich?
|
Does anyone else think that Saban is going to get rid of the Ninninger's changers and create an original morpher for the adaptation? This includes Star Ninger's burger changer. I don't see them using swords to morph and I think the burger will be to weird. They got rid of Shinken Gold's sushi morpher.
|
I could see them ditching the burger phone, but I have a feeling that the swords will stay.
|
Everyone assume that they would changed the morphers for Dino Charge, but they didn't. I can see the swords and burger phone staying.

I could see the Star Burger, but there is no reason to change the Ichibaunto.

Of course they should make a new theme. That would be lovely.

And why would they change the Ninninger morpher? The Burger thing they would, because it's dumb. But the sword changers? The entire gimmick of the Zords and such are based around the shurikens. So why would they change it? This is like when everyone thought they wouldn't use the gaburevolver. How'd that work for everyone. |

I don't think they'd change a sword morpher. Since they always release sword toys, it would be strange to remove and alter it.
|
I think they might change the burger morpher to the sword for the Gold morpher.

Unless something unforeseen happens behind the scenes, I believe the next season is going to be based on ToQger. They might've skipped Go-Busters but I believe that was due to the lack of a gimmick to sell more than anything else. ToQger has that. But when they finally get around to Ninninger, and honestly with how little sense that line makes they can take their sweet time, they are not changing the swords. All last year all we heard, and I thought so to at first, how they would replace the Gaburevolver because guns. They didn't change that they certainly aren't changing swords or shurikens. They can't really change shurikens, the entire toy line is based on them. The Burger Morpher though they probably will change. Because it's stupid. The problem with that though is what do they do with the footage of him using it in costume? The best guess is careful editing somehow. Or, maybe, we'll get an American Sixth like Titanium and we can all pretend guitar ninja selfie man doesn't exist.
If they adapt ToQger I'm looking forward to the mechs more than anything. Also hoping they make an American version of the Safari Gaoh but that could be wishful thinking. Then, they did make Jet Gosei Great so. |
A thought. In seasons with wrist morphers how oblivious are all the civilians. I don't include dino thunder because their morphers materialize from the gem. I mean mainly Time Force and Ninja Storm. Both these seasons the characters always wear their morphers and no one notices?
Like clearly they interact with people. Time Force interacts with the military. So they can clearly have views of the morphers. And ninja storm surely has news coverage of the rangers fighting. So it wouldn't be hard to notice the morpher they use. How can nobody put two and two together? And the other three I have seen, Lightspeed Rescue SPD and RPM don't count as they don't protect their identies due to being part of the police and military. So what gives. Are those two seasons full of idiotic civilana. Heck even Wes' dad doesn't realize his son is a ranger until he almost dies and even then it's due to his helmet breaking. Of all people his dad should have noticed the morpher. |
Well, I think, of the Time Force rangers, only Wes was the one who actually kept it a secret, and even then, Wes was borderline estranged with his father because he didn't hold any interest in his lifestyle. It makes some sense that he wouldn't notice because Wes mainly spent his time at the clock tower.
I can't really think of how the other seasons handled it, though. |
Ninja Storms team always played it off as a watch. Which was dumb because the thing was huge. Time Force never really hid because they were all public really, aside from Wes who by the end was.
|
Zeo's morphers kind of magically appeared, In Space they never worried about them to begin with, Lightspeed were public anyway, Dino Thunder just appeared, and the RPM rangers had too many other problems to worry about at the time.
I don't quite remember how Turbo got around it, and I don't recall whether or not the Galaxy rangers were publicly known. I don't think there were any other wrist morphers. |
Lost Galaxy sort of just appeared at random for the most part.
|
Turbo magically appeared. They twisted/flicked their wrist like they did in Zeo and pulled their key out of their pocket.

No. RPM was pretty public. They auditioned for rangers. And had kids meet them. They were a military unit basically.
|
How do you Power Rangers would've turned out it if Saban started a year earlier and adapted Jetman? What would it be called? What would MMPR's zords be used for?

Granted, I've heard awesome things about Jetman, but I have to admit my interest in a PR/Sentai season starts to dwindle if I'm not enticed with a sixth ranger, who comes with a slightly altered way to his/her powers but are still similar enough that they're not breaking the theme. |
Actually the very first 6th ranger was in Maskman. But he was a prototype and only existed for like one episode. And coincidentally he was green as well.
|
Which is why he's not considered a 6th, but an "Other", as he was not part of the team and only had one appearance.
