Partway there, lots of cleanup needed on edges and lining. So glad I ditched the stickers:

It's looking good though!

Thanks! This was a quick snap for WIP purposes, need to take better pics for the final product when I get there. Finished painting silver details on the arms, just need it to dry for clear colors and gold.
Rest of the WIP so far here: http://s804.photobucket.com/user/dra...?sort=6&page=1 |
Dug out some of my older minipla, need to redo the paint that was worn on this or just sand it off and start over, worse comes to worse I still have the stickers unused:
http://i804.photobucket.com/albums/y...7/DSCN7206.jpg I'm also selling my spares on eBay right now (GekiFire, Gokaiger mechs, Revolver Mammoth etc.) if anyone is interested, open to some offers too. |
Willing to trade for the diesel oh pla?
|
|
Yeah but that arm is coming along nicely
|
I'm thinking about painting my Kyoryujin into the Black version. Gotta remember to find a fine tip brush before I start though.

The fine tip should be good enough for all the details. |
Got my wave 2 Tokkyuger case from Ami Ami. I paid $30 + combined shipping for other stuff.
I have two full extra sets of Diesel-Oh + Tank + carrier Anyone want them? Asking $15 shipped to continental USA |

My plan is to air brush the primary colour and then handbrush the details on using a fine tipped brush that i bought. The one I got is meant for tanks and junk, but I've used it to finish off my Gunpla kit and it's a good brush I gotta say. Didn't really have any issues with overpaint or anything. |
To follow up from the ToQGokai-Oh I made, here's DieselGokai-Oh, which works surprisingly well, I think;

Is the Wave 5 due in August just a reissue of the ToQger or something else? Sorry, not to familiar with the series, just like the minipla.

I'm looking on CSToys right now at a Toq-Oh set for ¥5,360 EMS and I have two questions.
1. Is this a resonable price? 2. Or should I go SAL which is cheaper, but could take so much longer to get to me? Thanks in advance guys! |

Finally started building ToQOh this weekend. Here hs is about 40% painted/complete:
http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/...ps10241239.jpg Just finished painting him today: http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/...ps94e6d554.jpg http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/...ps1cd00dc9.jpg I painted mostly everything except for the white stripes, headlight details, head details and sword/gun details. I just cut out the portions of the stickers I needed to complete the look. Also ended up painting the underside of the trains all black which I believe is not entirely accurate. Oh well. Love the Minipla for their amazing articulation (except for the Kyoryuger ones): http://i1298.photobucket.com/albums/...psf763d9d6.jpg |
Looks great! Nice job.
|
A friend of mine pointed this out to me, apparently Bandai is uploading Minipla instructions online!
They only have the ToQger ones though: http://www.bandai.co.jp/candy/sentai...a/manuals.html |
