I really hope that they do Sodo Chronicle quality thing that redos older Sodo with the newest innovations. I'd go for Ex-Aid or Build even if I had to go through P Bandai. I could see them doing something like this after they run out of Heisei riders to do. I could see them doing main forms and final forms in the mainline and the form changes and less important riders like Poppy or Mad Rogue in P Bandai.

Yeah, I think a P-Bandai set of the four main Riders from Ex-Aid would be an At Any Price purchase for me. To go a different way, though, I think a VS two-pack might be a cooler way to go, like an Ex-Aid vs Dangerous Zombie one, or Ghost vs Any Of The People Who Bring Up That They Hated Watching Ghost If You Ever Bring Up Ghost On The Boards.

But yeah, releases of of older Riders (aka Build and Ex-Aid) would be neat, but I can see them doing the majority of the Heisei series first and ditching just before they do that last completionist-satisfying series.

“Once they run out of Heisei Riders to do” seems to be, uh, an extremely long time away if ever.

Well by the time that happens the series will be old enough to have their own Chronicle series :p

There were some P-Pandai SODO sets for Build and Zi-O that improved a lot of the molds and parts (though not to the level of SODO Chronicle obviously).

Dai SODO for Build which included an improved Build, improved Cross-Z and the Build henshin diorama.

Kai SODO for Zi-O which had Zi-O, Geiz, and Woz all improved with light piping in the heads.

I know but they were both exclusive to some Japanese shops and I wasn't aware of Mandarake's existence sson enough.

Don't forgot Dai-SoDo Ex-aid, which added wrist swivels, waist joints and better paint apos to Ex-aid, Brave, Snipe, and Drago Knight Hunter Z.

Edit: Also on the note of things I want to show up in SODO Chronicle. I'd really really like to see Ghost, because most the toys from the figuarts, to the gimmick figures, to the candy toys are pretty rough.

Shoot, I'm angry I missed that.

It's one of the hardest to find and most expensive sodo sets that I've seen. regularly runs at least 8000 yen.

I'm terrified of the temptation to spend P-Bandai prices to eventually complete a Chronicle Ryuki collection. I figure a retail first wave Ryuki, Knight, Zolda and Ouja, maybe a second retail wave of the Ryuki Survive and Blank along with Knight Survive, but I imagine the rest of the 13 and Alternatives will be P-Bandai. And the contract monsters, ugh, they either won't maje all 13 or the will and it'll be horribly expensive. No matter how it goes, Ryuki So-Do is going to torture me

I mean part of what I think is an advantage of the ryuki ride is that most of theme share a similar base suit right? (the black one)

Yeah, it fits super well into the body and armor model of So-Do, and Ryuki is a fairly popular series, so I expect they'll probably do everything from it when they eventually get to it

Femme and Verde are going to be a box set that costs me $90 on Mandarake, I just know it.

I've gotten the 2 packs for like 30 on zenmarket, so I can help you out if that happens.

Edit: Also Ryuga will absolutely be a lottery item.

After the madness that was last week, this time things are a lot calmer.

In terms of new reveals, we have probably the last product for 01 - Ark-One! He comes with punching hands, and the blog talks about some interesting producton work, including how the head is PVC, but still has stickers! THey tested it, and it should be fine! He also mentions how he's doing this entire review without seeing any of the episode, since it debuts today with very little known, so he's making up the fight images as it goes.

The gold lines are stickers, if I'm reading the translate correctly, but the armour does have texturing on it, so that's cool! He comes with both Red-Eyes and Black-Eyes heads, and a spare Cracked Arcle

I'm almost surprised So-Do actually decided to go something predictable for the first time in what feels like months with Ark-One and didn't go crazy one last time and announce a Battle Raider or Fighting Jackal or something. Or even better, include Naki in the last wave instead of the Ark. Oh well, it's a great looking design! Also excited for Daguva, haven't gotten to the point of his appearance in Kuuga yet, but they've been teasing it last few episodes

I think it won't be too bad, I think what he's actually saying is that just the arm and leg lines are stickers

Upon further inspection, it's paint on the body, stickers on the arms and legs! The stickers also aren't pure gold, but have some black around them, allowing a little give, because stickers that thin would just be evil.

Time to petition them for an entirely Zero-One wave in Saber, we got it enough times with Zi-O in Zero-One, so it's doable!

At this point they've gotta. They took up so much Zero-One with Zi-O, they owe us Zero-One in Saber. We're pretty much guaranteed Naki, but Ill be surprised if Saber never does Fighting Jackal at the least.

The P-Bandai Ryuki set for Converge figures is super expensive now. Definitely pick up the SODO set if it happens, the value with hold.

That definitely exciting potential. Did you mean wave 3 though? Or did you manage to find a listing for wave 2?
