It recently came to my attention that Osomatsu-san is basically what if classic cartoons such as Yogi Bear kinda grew up with the viewers. In the classic original run they were just mischievous kids during the Showa era, now they are jobless grown-ups who still live like they used to in the old cartoons while trying to get with the times. The show's sense of humor aside it is an interesting example of how you update old classics for the times I think while keeping the core elements intact.

What's your first experience with gatekeepers? Mine is with Star Wars. Star Wars is probably the one fandom that has the most gatekeepers.
It was when an article on IGN about Star Wars Droids animated series, I commented that I didn't know it existed, and then gatekeepers told me I don't deserve Star Wars for my lack of knowledge. Pretty fucking hilariously sad yo, these gatekeepers. |

EDIT: Late at night, didn't really read the question! I guess I'm lucky in that I've had generally good experiences in fandoms? This is maybe the most I've ever participated online, and y'all are the best. |

Word of advice: be wary of Tumblr, especially the Tumblr fandoms of cartoons and anime. Plenty of crazy people there. Not all of them for sure, but the crazy ones are quite prevalent. Oh and don't get me started on the Tumblr anime shipping communities. |
I have been using the worldwide web since 1997 and I do remember people in the anime fandom that would tell kids that they should not like anime because it's a grown up thing. I do hate gatekeeping unless it is being used to block certain people out of their fandom (Racist people, Sexist people, Pedos, etc).
Even in the Kamen Rider fandom, you have people that want the series to become popular because they fear the Internet boggiemen (SJWS) running the series for them. Art is something that should be open for everyone to enjoy. If you don't like certain people in the fandom, just ignore them and carry on with your life. |

There are many reasons to not watch Legendary Defender.

@Topic: Today on: "I'm not buying Nendoroids but kind of want to now", it’s Crash Bandicoot and the Doom Slayer! https://i.imgur.com/HJb4PzW.jpg https://i.imgur.com/5vJLUbd.jpg |
I only get Nendoroids when they're either of characters who I know will likely never get 6-inch action figures, or of characters who work really well in that aesthetic. The Winnie the Pooh Nendoroid is really fun, for example. I have a few others too, but probably the most notable one outside of Pooh-Bear is probably MGS2 Raiden, seeing as I seem to be the only one who liked him(yes, I prefer the MGS2 Raiden over MGS4 and Revengeance, fite me).

Yeah - I really liked them giving attention to Okami for example because I love the game but Amaterasu just doesn't work in that cutesy-style for me. She looks like her son instead.
The Doom Slayer is cool but doesn’t work for me either, looks too baby-like with the proportions. Which I understand is what they were going for, but that’s what usually drives me away from buying these. Crash on the other hand works fine because he always had the large-head-no-neck kinda design, even if it's a little bit more exaggerated here. |
