I watched the movie and felt the most sadness that cut so deep. There was nothing uplifting about it. When I found out (recently) that the same people responsible for that flick, made another called The Plague Dogs and explained to my wife what it was about, she started cry and yelled at me to stop. (She's a big pro dog person.)

Can't blame her. It was horrible to read. Thought I'd watch a bit. What a mistake. The opening segment is one of the dogs trying to reach the surface to gasp for air and he unfortunately drowns. The lab resuscitates him only to do the process all over again, as they had countless times before.

That's just the tip of the iceberg...
