Yeah, Light type seems pretty redundant between Psychic and Fairy. I was mainly interested in Sound type, hence the "kinda."

I'm still not interested in a "Light" type. I think Fairy perfectly fits that role.
Sound is interesting, but not worthy of being a type in and of itself. Sound better fits as a sub-classification of attacks, I feel.

That would be a cool concept for a Pokemon game, some attacks have types that don't belong to any Pokemon like the sound type.

Again, Shaymin's in-game event was only officially unlocked for Platinum, and Gen 4 and 5 have flags in place that note the game of origin. More importantly, Platinum and event Shaymin are "fateful encounter" Pokémon, the ones that are supposed to be compatible with the Gracidea flower. Meanwhile, your Manaphy is probably a "legit" clone, using PKMN info from whatever distribution or the proper info of a hatched Ranger one, making it far easier to evade detection.

I need help completing my Pokedex, I need: Shaymin, Deoxys, Manaphy, & Aromatisse. I also need help getting my Inkay evolved into Malamar, Porygon into Porygon 2 then into Porygon Z, Swirlix into Swirlpuff, & Feebas into Miloctic.

Inkay doesn't need traded to evolve into Malamar... Just turn your 3DS upside down just before it levels up, starting from at least level 30, and it'll evolve.

Okay, i'm convinced, Pokemon bank does let hacked pokemon through, i had a multi battle with people who clearly had hacked Pokemon on they're teams.

If the Pokegen'd Pokemon hit the right flags, they can get through. People use Pokecheck for this.

The XY anime is OK so far, but Serena really feels like most pointless female lead on the show yet. Granted after going through 5 female leads you're going to run out of stuff to do, but other than her crush on Ash, there's literally nothing else she's here for.

Granted, every female protagonists goal in the anime has been handled terribly unless they were a coordinator, so who knows. Even to this day I don't even know what Misty was trying to accomplish while she was on the cast.

I find it bizarre you claim May was. "rude" since her character was known for being pleasent and down to earth, very rarely if ever mocking other characters like Misty or Iris (or Max) did. The times where she was acting arrogant she got called out on it by Drew, Harley, or the Contest judges.

She lost 3 Contests, and both Grand Festivals at reasonable ranks. Top 8 and Top 4. Far more realistic than Dawn getting into the finals her first try.

The Contest techniques changed over time because the writers started writing contests differently. It wasn't just May, all the other coordinators in Hoenn did it too.

And I'm still wondering what "attitude" you find from May, when there's literally a vast difference between her and the type of attitude early Kanto Misty had, or Iris' constant condescening tone.

Best Wishes is actually considered the worst Pokemon series since the Johto arc.

I've never enjoyed the Pokemon anime. Origins, Chronicles, or whatever subtitle they tack onto the ongoing series. I think they're all trash. I'm merely basing my statements on BW on other's accounting of it, not my own.

Now then, I have no intention of rectifying my memories of May because I have no intention on wanting to like her.

Keep in mind MatrixBeast I'm merely asking you this out of curiosity, not because it really matters who likes what character. I'm just very curious since you've been called out on this by other members, and not just Kholonafan.

You seem to be taking a single moment from one episode and applying it to her entire run as a main character. In her first episode she found Treecko, "creepy" so she chose Torchic over it at Birch's lab. I think that's probably what you're remembering, since I can't think of any other time she was bothered by any other pokemon.

Well what I meant was I can't remember any time Max ran away from sometime May said, and I've rewatched the whole AG series 3 times so the episodes are fresher in my memory than yours. Are you thinking of the time Max got mad when Ash beat his father in the Gym, and he stole the badge and ran away? Or the other time where Max got lost in a forest, and May had to go find him before the ferry had to take them to the next Contest? Neither of those had anything to do with Max running away from May because of something she said.

Virtually all the Pokemon girls have the same basic personality in filler episodes unless its an episode heavily focused on them. In any of the May-focused episodes of the series, what arrogant moments she goes through are for character development.

Back when Hoenn was airing the writers probably weren't sure what they wanted Contests to be yet. That's why they resembled battles more than actual Contest techniques that came up when DP started.

Well I know you're not a fan of the anime, but you seem to comment on it often hence I am interested. I see from your profile your current age is 22, but Hoenn began airing back in 2003, meaning you were what...about 10 years old when that saga was airing for the first time?

Sounds to me that when you were 10-12 years old you saw those episodes with the mind of a child, and since you never revisited them later, you don't seem to actually have a viewpoint of them. It doesn't really matter whether you like a character or not, but some of your reasonings seem very odd or off base. It's almost like you *want* to continue hating a character for no reason.

Thing is, you don't just hate a character. I was never one of those sentimental kids who started crying when Misty left the show. I didn't point at May and declare "I'm gonna hate that."

I may not have liked the Pokemon anime, but I still watched the entirety of the Hoenn season, and when May left the show, all I had was hatred and anger towards the character.

It's possible I'm off base for my reasoning, but there has to be something that occurred that started it all for me.
I don't want to hate May for no reason, but I'm not going to sit and watch 192 episodes on the chance that I'm wrong.

Yet this is what I don't understand. The Pokemon characters' personalities in general aren't even strong enough compared to other shows to even have these kind of reactions. None of the main characters in the show have complex personalities, they're all simple designed for young children.

And going through a lot of the stuff you mentioned above, I'm trying to pinpoint what started it. You keep claiming stuff like, "rudeness, arrogant, whiny" yet I wonder if we're actually watching the same show. Even characters who DID have traits like that such as early Kanto Misty and Iris didn't act like that all the time.

Eh, nobody said you have to rewatch 190 episodes. You can cherry-pick what episodes starred the character and go from there.
