I'm talking about making the choice of which ones to make. Honestly the ones they have a lot of the molds for they should finish before going into ones they haven't even made the mother fucking red senshi of, in my opinion finishing Boukenger, Dairanger, & Jetman aswell as making the Shurikenger should be priority one for the Sentai figuarts. But there's more of a consistency gap with the Rider figuarts cause they still have a shit ton of stuff to finish with Ryuki & they haven't even started with Hibiki and for fuck sake when are we gonna see Orga and Zeronos Vega Form.

As much as I want Shurikenger and the rest of Jetman, I'd be very surprised if they go back to those teams before starting newer groups. After the remaining Zyuranger and Kyoryuger figures, I expect they'll move on to ToQger to cash in while it's still on the air. That's just my opinion, of course, but it makes some financial sense to strike while the iron is hot, as it were.

Exactly, when SH is behind on completing sets for the better selling Kamen Rider I don't see why we should expect any better from Sentai.

Besides as awesome as it would be to see them finish one team at a time realistically that sounds like a horrible business decision for Bandai to make. SH Sentai figures are a niche market, and while they can not assume everyone who buys a figure from one team will by all of another sentai team, it's probably a safe bet for Bandai to assume that those who buy non red figures will probably be the people who will be buying the whole sentai team. It would be crazy for Bandai to expect that everyone in that small group can easily pay $30-$40 dollars for five/six months in a row for toys, even spreading it out to every two months could still be risky and that would mean they would be spending basically the whole year bleeding one consumer group dry while letting other groups go untapped. Sure there are those like me who want to collect all Sentai figurarts but they can't assume that's the case. Hell as much as I am dying to own all Jetman and Dairanger members if they announced that they would release one member of either teams for the last half of this year their is no way I'd be able to buy them all straight from Bandai. Especially with all the other Bandai lines I'm trying to keep up with taking my money XP

And we all know that a metric shit ton more Toku Faithful are wanting an Orga figure than a full Dairanger team in figure form especially since Kamen Rider was before Sentai and is really popular in Japan.

And then those are some of us like myself just sitting here waiting on Juukou B-Fighter and B-Fighter Kabuto figuarts :lol

Problem is, that didn't last that long, same with Beetleborgs, so patience young padewan :lol

Screw it, I'm on record with wanting the obscure NeijiRangers/Psycho Rangers. But we need to finish the Dekarangers Swat Mode, get some Time Force, MegaRangers, and Magirangers in there. I want my MagiLegend Mode! And where's KR Femme/Siren?

It won't surprise me if the Sentai figuarts sell better in the US. I think Americans have more nostalgia to the Zyuranger suit designs then Japan does.

That's a cool way to make the team weapon. Other than the Inordinate Cannon/Bazooka, have they even done that before?

I just hate how close we are to completing some sentai teams. Hurricanger just needs Shurikenger to be complete, Boukenger just needs Pink, Yellow, and Silver, and Dekaranger at least needs Break and Master (Swan is optional)... Just finish at least them and it'd feel better.

I'm still VERY surprised that Shurikenger hasn't at least been seen as a prototype yet. Just don't understand it.

Easiest way would be to include a removable vest and a swappable head.

The head would be easy to do, though the armor would probably be slightly difficult to do unless they went with the hold peg in a front and back piece together method. Just don't do it like they did with Dragon Ranger where you have to take the figure apart to take the shield off.

Getting Emporer and Dark Kiva way way before we even have the slightest thing resembling a possible release of his base form is just weird.

It's because the Sochaku Henshin Kiva came out around the same time.

But why we haven't seen it yet is still confusing. It's been a while, and it's a form that I'd love to won as a Figuart.

I wholeheartedly agree with that. he was referring to back when Emperor Form was released. The upside to this is precisely what you said; it'll be awesome when it's released. Cleaner sculpt, better engineering, etc. then if it was released back then.

So, in trying to decide how deep I've fallen down the rabbit hole I've grown curious about how people count their SHF purchases. I tend to include everything on Shukuen Shinobi's list (including things like effects and module sets). It's not really relevant to anything, I was just wondering how people quantify their SHF acquisitions.

I only have 1 that is still in decent condition, and that one is Ryu Ranger, I can't really stand Knight Survive anymore cause of the damned cape, that cape is fucking annoying to deal with -_-.

I go off of the checklists that get posted around this thread here, so I count the effect part sets and other stuff as separate releases.

I've heard the cape pieces stay in better if you push them until they click, and the stand that he comes with helps as far as balance is concerned. As for Thessair's question, I would count anything humanoid as a figuart. So Fourze Module sets don't count, bikes don't count, and 2-packs like the Gouraigers count as 2. Right now I just have Ryu Ranger, but I soon will have Abyss in hand.

That's part of the reason I asked. It's interesting to see the different ways people mentally approach collecting.

You can count or not count whatever you feel like. Doesn't change the fact that anything released in that line, whether it be figures effects or accessories, is still an S.H. Figuart. It's got it on the packaging, so that's what it is. What else would you call the SHF Fourze Module Set? Nothing, because it's released under the SHF banner.

Eh, I find it easier to run a spreadsheet than to fill one of those checklists out every time they announce a new figure. Plus I can eliminate those lines I don't collect like Sailor Moon and Tiger & Bunny. I know it works for some people but it's just not my cup of tea.


Yeah, I count everything short of promo items like Wizard's Strike Robe as an individual item for tallying my collection. I was just curious how others felt about quantifying the hobby.

And to think, it all started with Ryuki :lol.

I find it much easier just to count them by the series. That way you'll know what you're missing and it motivate you to complete them. :lol
