Honestly, I thought it said "opt" at first. It makes less sense in hindsight.

Damn the first chapter i was writing for Harmoranger was extremely freaking rushed. So i went back and rewrote some of it to have slightly better pacing.

Yeah, I did that countless times for the first chapter of Xtreme. that's... five times I rewrote it until the version that's up now... I think? Anyway, it's good to rewrite things, helps you make them better. Something to keep in mind is that not everything has to happen at once. Take a few breaks in between events to have a few quiet moments between the characters, or to flesh out the world in which the story takes place.

My sister once told me that to write a good story, you need to build the world, then capture a small portion of that world in a frame that you're presenting to the reader. Hope this helps, I'm sure that your story will be awesome!
