Ryuki 30 Cool, a Kitaoka episode! Time to meet meet his old secretary, Megmi, that Kitaoka fired years ago for klutziness. I guess I understand his pain but still... Goro seems pretty jealous at first, but after she beats him in a Kitaoka quiz and reveals she's apparently got the same incurable disease Kitaoka has. Alright, this episode is one thousand percent more goofy than I thought it would be. Still, it's funny though. I can't help but thing this and the last episode being so humorous means shit is about to go down though. And Kitaoka's blank stares at Megumi's antics were hilarious. So, Megumi's a recurring character now? If so, I definitely do not mind. Shimada might, from the looks of things... Also I gotta say, Kanzaki must be incredibly pissed right about now. Shinji, Ren, and Kitaoka are, more or less, friends. And Asakura is really bad at killing those three despite his overpowered abilities. Ryuki 31 Oh man, looks like an Asakura episode. Apparently he's forgotten to feed all three of his contract monsters. You'd think he'd have the least of these kinda problems, being the only rider who probably isn't opposed to feeding his monster humans. If that's a viable option. ...Well I guess Scissors did it. At any rate, Asakura doesn't even seem that concerned. The thought probably never crossed his mind when he contracted two extra monsters. Yui seems to finally remember what Reiko told her about Kanzaki apparently dying in the U.S. Despite...three episodes of goofing off. And yeah, I was right shit is stirring up. Not plot important stuff, but Asakura sending his monsters to feast on the passengers of a cruise, leaving one little girl to survive is pretty important stuff. Though..it seems that it's NOT Asakura's monsters that attacked the cruise, just some random unrelated ones. Even more surprising is that he saved the little girl's life, though it's morel likely that he just wanted to feed those monsters to his and saving her was an accident. Guess Asakura can't just feed people to his monsters, thankfully. The three monsters in these episodes were weirdly Rider-like though. They even had their own weapons and everything. They seem to work together and escaped so maybe they'll be sorta important? Ryuki 32 Eh, why not I'll watch another. It's a direct continuation of the last anyway. Ren seems to hopefully think that Asakura's screwed himself over by contracting three monsters. Even Shinji couldn't protest that Asakura dying was a bad thing. The little girl from last time is still ptsd' over what she saw on the cruise it seems. The nurse mentions that after the monsters attacked the cruise ship, Asakura watched over the girl that night. I figure he was just waiting for the monsters to return rather than comfort her, but still something to note. Asakura seems to treat being eaten like a game...And Kitaoka seems pretty happy to get rid of him without ay effort. Reiko also seems to remember she was investigating Kanzaki and talks to his old prof from the US. But Kanzaki mirrors him away.... Woah...fell asleep while writing this. Might as well finish the rest now. Now Shinji wants to prevent Asakura's death too. Not really for his sake, but for the girl he unintentionally saved. Man Shinji's idealism sparks up again. And...in a bizarre twist, Kitaoka, Ren, and Asakura end up beating the monsters together. Though Ren and Kitaoka REALLY hope Asakura gets eaten by his three monsters. Ren has Darkwing try and intercept and Kitaoka has Magnugigas...moo a little. Well, that's probably the best he'll get out of it. And Megumi saw him leave the mirror world. Looks like Kanzaki's schemes are getting slowly unraveled... |

I hate the gibberish crap, I hated how in Kuuga TVN didn't sub the Grongi so literally half of every episode I had no fucking idea what was going on. The scrub is fantastic though, I don't know Blade on a personal level so I can't comment on the accuracy of the subs but there has been no bad grammar or spelling errors that I've noticed, but most importantly you can now actually see the show unlike with TVNs rips being disgustingly crushed and the aspect ration being all kind of fucked up. |
Quote:
|
Actually the complete DVD set came with translations for all the Grongi, hence why it was all translated by MCS. So don't try being a smart ass, it doesn't suit ya.
|
The DVDs arent the way it was meant to be seen during the time it aired on TV the first time. The Subtitles were added when it go rebroadcastet and as you mentioned it on the DVD release.
This was purely done because most of the people had seen the series and knew how the mystery of the Story unfolded hence there was no point in hiding it anymore. So to calrify. Yes there are subtitles for the Grongi language but the show is meant to be watched without them the first time. |
Well that is nice, but I don't enjoy watching a show where I have no idea what is going on. Even by the end, whole chunks of the series went unexplained and unexplored. They didn't articulate their points through body language, give clues with props or locations, I may as well have watched the show raw. A mystery is meant to be compelling, not just alienate and isolate the audience.
But for some reason when Kuuga does that, that is a good thing. Why such a piece of shit of a series like Kuuga gets a free ride while failing at EVERYTHING will forever allude me. But I've long since given up on trying to understand the rabid Kuuga fanbase. |
Blade Scrub 03. This episode, as far as translation goes, wasn't great. The first two episodes were solid, but the grammar here seemed to lack a good proofread. It wasn't HK Sub Engrish bad, but there were a few sentences where I had to pause the video and let it process.
Please tell me the shows history gets explored more? I didn't understand this at all. So 10, 000 years ago there was this race called Undead (whatever that is), there were 53 species, one was Human. A Human Undead??? And then the Human Undead beat the other species of Undead, by sealing them in playing cards???? I know Amane is a dick, but she is only a little girl and the fact that she got attacked by a monster who murdered people before her very eyes should be taken into consideration Hajime, before you start pretending to be a monster and growl in her face. Considering the power of that Grasshopper Undead, Kenzaki's Kick card is pretty crappy, but honestly the fight scenes aren't as bad as I remember them being. The show does the whole wild scramble, we aren't actually all pros here, thing much better than Gaim does. Really the only problem is the CGI and green screening, what is atrocious even by Kamen Rider standards. I forgot how hot Tachibana's vague doctor friend is, shame she is gonna be dead in a few episodes. |
Quote:
And oh no, you can't understand a word people are saying. That's like THE POINT!!! Do you think the Jp understood what a monster was saying the first time they watched the show? Or do you think the Japanese automatically know how to understand made up languages? Curious, what did you think of the Elvish language Tolkien made up for LotR? |
Oh, what sub group did I watch then? I thought it was MCS, whoever it was, they used the DVD as a raw, so not only was the video quality far superior but they had the Grongi subbed as well. Shame I had to switch to TVN half way through as they abandoned the show in the 20s. Not only are their translations poor, but their video compression is garbage.
I find the Elvish hilarious, it sounds absolutely ridiculous and when they spend a "heartfelt scene" of a poorly CGI deaged person shouting gibberish I just laugh out loud, much to the frowns of the sea of neckbeards in the theatre with me. I understand the lengths Tolkein went into Elvish, so I can appreciate it on that level but the Grongi was just shit, just like all of Kuuga. The worst show I've ever finished, and that includes stuff outside of tokusatsu. |

Actually, as I understand it, it's a re-sub of an already fansubbed series. |

Kamen Rider Gaim 07
I did not see that coming. Honestly, I thought he had something to do with them. But I didn't expect Announcer to be working directly with Takatora(Batta)! And the debut of Watermellon was as nuts and epic as I was hoping :lol "Oh no, he was squished!" |
Blade Scrub 4.
Hirose is such a bitch. Blade sure hates women huh? I do love the way Hirose's second chin ripples when she gets mad though. So cute~ It's lucky then that our leading ladies have such great male characters to be softened by. Kenzaki is a real oddball, but is utterly charming, especially considering how harsh he seems at first - I'd love him to meet Gentaro. Similarly Tachibana seems like a real dick, but turns out to be very soft and gentle. So BOARD sealed the Undead...to unseal them again? Is this gonna be explained, or is it just gonna be a dumb thing for the whole show? |
Scrub 5.
Kenzaki was great this episode. I really love the Undead designs. Although there is a certain cheapness in how humanoid they are, I love how they are genuinely terrifying. Kamen Rider has had really cool villains, but most of them look like suits. The Undead don't look like they've just stepped out of a costume shop, they look like they've just stepped out of Silent Hill. Plus the fact that we see them really do some damage, Ivy for example was introduced next to a pile of bodies, is slightly better (although far from perfect) used than it was in the likes of shows like Kuuga. Just a shame this weeks Undead had venom that looked a lot like...ahem. The only real disappointment is how light the action is in this show, the Undead really don't put up much of a fight, and get sealed very quickly and that is pretty disappointing. Although not quite as disappointing as how unspectacular most of the Sealed Undead turn out to be when used as powers. Although that concept is really cool. Most of Blade's fights involve people just sorta jumping up and down and throwing impactless punches, while the camera thrashes around to make it look more interesting, while the editor makes it near incoherent. Amane may be a real bitch, but I feel really sorry for her honestly. She's been caught in the crossfire three times out of five episodes and almost died each of those times. The first time may have been some insanely fucked up coincidence, but the other instances were not her fault. |
Been checking out Kiva. Smacked down episode two and am watching 3.
Four main things, though: DAMN that intro is awesome. DA-HAMN that suit is awesome. DA-HA-HAMN that bike is awesome. HOLY SHIT they could not have found a worse kid to play Kiva. In the suit he's so violent and hard-edged and dark and regal and vicious and yet the actor looks like a baby. He's just so young and fesh-faced, and turns into a metal demon. He should have an underlying air of darkness, yet he always looks like he had a rough day at school. He's not bad at any rate, but he is just such a staggering contrast. The show is okay so far. Nothing wrong really, the two time frames is an interesting angle, but it means keeping track of characters is twice as hard. But it DOES have those awesome bits, the suit, the bike, the song, the... dragon castle? Uh, okay, that last one isn't as cool. But I would buy a Kiva and Bike figuart INSTANTLY. How come rider bikes don't look that cool anymore? It's weird, this bike came after Den-O, who had a kind of weak lookign dirtbike. Then after Kiva was Decade, who had a pretty sweet bike. W then had an awesome ninja bike, and OOO had a neat ride that suffered a bit from the gimmick. Then Fourze was back to a weak dirtbike dressed as a shuttle, Wizard had a fairly generic dirtbike, and Gaim aslo has a dirtbike. What the hell? Where are the sweet hogs and ninja bikes? |
It's funny isn't it, that a show with Rider in the name, can feature so many vehicles that are all utterly superfluous. I mean there have been some fantastic designs, but half the time the bikes aren't even about getting characters from a to b, they just include a single, out of context, token shot of them riding them because I guess...the bikes are their best seller?
Ironically I think about the only show I've seen to really make use of the bikes was Kuuga, that show had some amazing bike stunts and bikefu, and with the inclusion of Gouram Kuuga may have sucked, but he sucked in style. Also, special mention to Vajin since that was a friggin' transformer. |
That I can remember, W used his bike frequently. OOO had the bikes appear often, but it also wasn't a personal bike, but otherwise was often present. Den-O only used his bike infrequently, and mostly as part of the train. Agito didn't use his bike that much. It saw more use in ridiculous bad-CG spoon mode.
It seems the more effort put into the bike design, the more it appears. Higher quality, more solid-looking bikes get more screen time than the cheap-looking dirtbikes I find. |
I didn't include the RideVendor simply because of that lack of personality. Anyone could use those bikes, so really Os was only a Kamen Rider in the sense that I am because I ride a bus to work.
I know that Kamen Rider is the name of the franchise and in Japan its huge and all the rest, but I really don't get why they don't just rebrand. It's kinda like how in Gaim they changed it to 'Armoured Rider', because yes the MASK was the bit that needed changing. Kamen Rider is about the belts, not the bikes. It'd be like calling Super Sentai, Super Houseplant, as they are in at least one episode every season! |

Ryuki 33
Megumi is gonna attempt to uncover why she saw Shinji emerge out of the mirrors. Time will tell if she gets anywhere. Meanwhile, Reiko and Editor-in-Chief are actually putting two and two together to solve this whole people in mirrors or people near mirrors mysteriously disappearing. OR trying to. At least they feel it's connected to Kanzaki. Megumi...doesn't look to be figuring out anything anytime soon. But uh, what's with Yui? She looks like she's beginning to dissolve. I assume this has to do with her brother's mirror world shenanigans but I dunno. Not that there wasn't evidence enough before, but I don't think Megumi's all that right in the head...Though if journalism doesn't work out for her, she does have the whole hot magician thing going for her, I guess. Where'd she even get that mirror trick thing? Though her antics do give Reiko an idea at what's really going on. Well, Goro's whistling seems to have improved somewhat. Uh oh, looks like Kanzaki is pretty pissed about Kitaoka, Ren, and Shinji pretty much just hanging out and not killing one another during the past few episodes. And he can make Eri's condition become irregular just by standing next to her. I mean I get that he was sort of the cause of her trauma in the first place but still. Asakura still seems to think of Kitaoka as his priority target as he's stalking around the house. Kitaoka's falling prey to his illness again, Eri has a few days to live. Shinji's the only one who Kanzaki can't really influence in any way. he's probably hoping the other Riders would kill him. And speaking of other Riders...here comes a new one! Wonder why he's appearing just now, Kanzaki can't be bothered to recruit them all at once or something? Ryuki 34 Kitaoka should really lock his house. Or maybe in his rush to get him out of there so he wouldn't get in another battle, Goro just forgot to. Kanzaki gave Shinji a survive card, telling him to use it to crush the other riders. He apparently couldn't think of a better incentive as he really does have nothing on Shinji and everything he could say would just strengthen Shinji's resolve to stop the fighting. Ren and Shinji get into another fight and for once, Ren's angry demeanor is understandable. And thing bring back Kanzaki's old classmate as Reiko's investigating him once more. He's still reluctant to talk it seems. Man, Asakura's just straight up eating Kitaoka's food. When the hell doe she ever eat usually anyway? At any rate he seems to think he's got the drop on Kitaoka now. Reiko visits Kanzaki's old college lab, where she meets some really creepy professor dude. Looks like he's hiding something. Really obviously hiding something as he prevents Reiko from getting to close to the mirrors. Yui's grandma kicks her, Ren, and Shinji out for brooding and tells them to get some fresh air. Rena and Shinji are both afraid of dogs apparently. Heh. Then in an unexpected twist he three of them go to a carnival? Huh. They seem to be having fun, even Ren cracks something that slightly resembles a smile, barely. Kanzaki even shows p and he's grinning too! ...yeah, that's a pretty bad sign. Goro was completely willing to run Asakura over just to be rid of him. Asakura, being crazy as shit, doesn't seem to care. Kitaoka does, though. He seemed willing enough before to let the other Riders die by other means...though maybe Kanzaki convinced him otherwise? Kitaoka and Asakura star their fight, while Ren has a flahsback of Eri's hatred of merry-go-rounds and their time together, prompting him to remember her critical condition, prompting Ren to challenge Shinji to a fight. Shinji agrees pretty quickly, but he seems to sense something is wrong with Ren. They kinda abandon Yui at the merry-go-roud, somewhat hilariously after that flashback of Eri saying she used to fear being abandoned at a merry-go-round. I guess she would just try and stop them anyway... Kitaoka and Asakura star their final vents...and Genocider's fial Vent is apparently a hole opening up in it's chest...And Ren and Shinji fight...while Shinji uses his survive card! He looks even more Kamen Rider-y now. Maybe it's the antennae. Though really....Ren could've attacked him in those five minutes they just stood there burning. Ryuki 35 Shinji and Ren continue to fight and Ren seems to be finally going over the edge in his desperation to save Eri. Kitaoka and Asakura fight, but Kitaoka decides to bail and...HOLY SHIT MAGNUGIGAS MOVED. HE ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING! He just swatted Asakura away with his arm before falling. I rewinded this three times, to make sure my eyes weren't deceiving me! Haha, Kitaoka's a sly motherfucker, with that ploy. No mirrors, Asakura's heading back to jail and they took his deck. This is one of the few times Asakura's looked legitimately pissed off by something. Even in his new super mode, Shinji is having trouble fending off the increasingly desperate Ren. I forgot they had cards that made them multiply themselves. That hasn't been used in a while. wow they really beat the shit out of eachother. Yui tells Shinji of Eri's condition which explains Ren's behavior...and is worried because Eri might not have much time left and Ren won't be able to save her since there are many Riders left, but....isn't the goal of the Rider war to gain a wish anyway? Can't he just wish her back to life and in full health? Reiko and Editor-i-Chief investigating the whole mirror monsters thing is pretty awesome. Probably the best thing they've done with the whole reporter schtick. ...I don't know what that scene with Goro singing karaoke with Megumi and Shimada was, but I'm hoping to avoid anything like it in the future. I guess they're celebrating Asakura's capture. Ren sees news of his arrest as well and OH SHIT feathers! The final boss guy is watching! Shinji hears the mirror monster noise...but it appears to be coming form Kanzaki's own lab where they're still apparently researching the mirror world. They seem to suspect Shinji's a rider, so I wonder what their prpose is. Ren is confronted with Kanzaki, who says he wants Ren to fight someoe, but Ren refuses to be ordered around by him. Uh...Kanzaki jsut said there is no need to rush the deaths of the Riders. But, UH, wasn't he...ugh, this guy. At any rate, Ren would rather fight Kanzaki. So is Kanzaki the final boss guy or what? It would make sense that he is...except he and the final dude were in two different places last time and no henshin sequence was shown. Yet Kanzaki had the deck with the final boss symbol on it. And hey, the new Rider shows up to help Shinji! I know his name from seeing his figure pop up on here. And it's a pretty easy one to remember, Tiger. final boss is kicking Ren's ass and seems to have a bunch of powers without using the damn cards. Ina fighting game he'd be the cheapest piece of shit...And even his feathers are weapons?! So the scientists are working on a way to seal the mirror world and stop the battles once and for all. Shinji of course is cool with that and wants to help but they say they have to wait and see if he's trustworthy. Which makes sense, but..they're acting shady as hell too. And holy shit, Ren managed to trick final boss guy and kill him? So, I guess he isn't Kanzaki after all. But then why'd he get killed off so easily? I dunno, it all seems like it was a way to goad Ren into finally killing someone. Ren seems pretty beat up by it, which of course means he'll retire as Batman for twenty years. His howls of agony seem to make Eri cry from her hospital bed...and then she opens her eyes?! And all three scientists have tiger decks...so they're all Tiger?! Huh... |

Gaim ep 8
So Kaito does have a heart, it was just shattered by Yggradrassil. And Cid, I think, is going to end up as a Big Bad somewhere down the line. Or atleast a master manipulator which is somehow better. Mai though really needs to learn not to just walk inside rips in the freaking Universe! I have a theory about those, btw. What if they aren't Tears in another Dimension, but Rips in Time itself? So they aren't transversing worlds.. They're going through time. |
Gaim ep 9
Okay, just damn. This show is starting to show hints of being much darker than Fruit. LockFruit and their connection to the Inves, Micchi learning about TakaTora(Batta), And Kouta being.. a goofball, really :lol This how is getting good |

There's also a Gaim commercial featuring a ten year old, Japanese version of you. :lol |

And I personally like knowing what is going on. |
Nah, he's right. TV-Nihon have only subbed up to episode 24 of Kuuga.
The only full set of episodes for that show if I recall rightly is MCS original non-Grongi version that used poorer encodes. |
Wow then, I apologise.
I dunno who I watched then, all I know is for the first half of the show they were higher quality rips with Grongi translated but then they abandoned the show half way through and I had to settle for atrocious rips with half of the episode not being translated. So I just automatically assumed that with the dip in quality of both video and translation I must have moved to TVN. |
Agito 15-More mysteries begin with the Housekeeper who seemingly knows about Shouichi. Hojo is even more of a jackass, with him and the one from FFVII I don't think I can trust anyone called Hojo lol. I love Shouichi and Hikawa's interactions they are so much fun together, and I love how Shouichi wasn't that interested in Agito and Hikawa is. I love Ozawa and Mana too, they are some really good female characters in a Rider series. Intrigued with Ryou at the end of the episode and glad to see we get another Gills episode too. I love Agito's forms so far his weapon in Storm form is so badass. I can't wait for more Agito.

Blade Scrub 6 - all caught up with the Scrubs O_O Do I move over to the crappy TVN encodes or just drop this show for two months so NDA can sub more episodes?
It's nice to see the weight all of all the dead people addressed in this episode. I don't know what direction Blade is going to take, but if Hirose's fears ring true, her father is very similar to The White Wizard. Also wow Hirose kicks butt! I loved the dramatic irony of Amane going on about how cool her Dad was, while we watch him die in the snow. Stay classy, Blade. I love how much of the characters personalities they get through in the Rider portions. Kenzaki especially, is just awesome. It's such a shame though that the awesome that is Chalice is portrayed by such a bad actor out of suit. Although I must say I was never a big fan of the whole "fear in their hearts, destruction on their mind" crap. I thought the concept of transforming taking a toll on their body was great, and brought the out of suit and in suit actors that much closer. I know that suggesting transforming may be a bad thing, kinda goes against these kind of shows, but that is also what made it special. But oh well, fuck that, time for some existential crisis and bad special effects, I'm turning greeeeeeeeeeen! I also found it funny that after the Chief's elaborate magnesium escape, Tachibana doesn't question that at all when he suddenly reappears and chats to his girlfriend. |
Tachibana's hulking moment. I wanted to count how many times they did it, but I forgot to :lol

I got the sense that Kiva is a part of Wataru that he actively represses -- and that repressed, savage side of his personality takes over whenever he henshins. Say what you will about the overall quality of Kamen Rider Kiva (I'm personally a fan -- though I recognize its myriad flaws), but Wataru has one of the most effective character arcs of any KR series I've watched. He's a very different guy by the end of the series. |

Ryuki 36
With Eri waking up, thus invalidating Ren's reason to fight and the scientists coming up with a reasons to shut down the mirror world head scientist dude does seem to be on the up and up so far...at least as far as destroying the mirror world goes. He still acts shady as shit though. Huh thought for a second that the guy who pushed Yui in front of that car was just some member of the press trying to push people out of his way, but judging from that mysterious shot of his sneakers, it seems like he may be important... So wait did Asakura just barf out one of his cards? More importantly, he can summon his contract monsters with just a card? I'm...gonna call bullshit on that one. And hey, they catch up to Ren finally. Someone should tell Yui that there are quicker ways of informing him that Eri is conscious that involve just telling him and not shouting his name eighteen times and slapping him. So the one who pushed Yui in front of the moving car was one of the Tiger people. so like I thought, not as noble as Shinji would think, but I can see why they'd do it since Yui seems to be a key part of this. Anyway, Shinji faces down Asakura in a fight, thought Shinji seems to be more defending himself. When Tiger suddenly shows up outta nowhere ad kicks Asakura's ass! He then does that mysterious loner bit, when he walks away without bothering to explain anything to Shinji. And Eri seems to be alright! I thought for a second there might be some twist that that wasn't the case! But hey now Ren's reasons for fighting are over, maybe he'll be less of a prick! Yui's situation...just got a whole lot worse it seems... Also, was that a Maziger clip that played when Shinji was flicking through Kitaoka's t.v? Also, Tiger has the coolest Rider design in Ryuki. Ryuki 37 It seems another Rider is the one who attacked Yui! and...he has a weird belt. Huh...Also he appears to be insect themed. That's a new one. It appears the one who was Tiger last episode was the youngest one of the three scientist people. Also I've realized another reason for why I don't trust the leader of these scientists. He was this really creepy Fangire on Kiva, I think! And I think it's safe to say one of the scientists is the bug rider too. Shinji remembers Tezuka's warning to watch after Yui. Starting to realize she may be very important to these battles, maybe? Eri's condition and her waking up have no known causes. Some mysterious shit is apparently going on with her. She seems to recognize it too as she asks what's happened during the year she was comatose. but Ren covers it up. Ren does make somewhat of a good point to Shinji. He can't stop fighting. Darkwing would eat him! Even if he doesn't have a reason anymore, Kanzaki would probably just show up and make Eri comatose again. Still maybe no longer having a reason to gain a wish mean he'll be less of a pr-nah... Editor-in-Chief seems to suspect something weird's goign on with Shinji, but he let's it go for now. Reiko's suspects Kitaoka of knowing more about these mirror disappearances and he tries to steer her away for..safety, I guess? And she still wants to see Asakura much to Kitaoka's chagrin, aha. The scientists seem to be very "sacrifice one for the many" hero types, while Shinji's more of a do what I ca to save them all". And seeing as the scientists are clearly after Eri, I don't think Shinji's going to be going along with their plans in the near future. Eri...why would you leave in your condition? Is that really the brightest thing? And...she's going to go back to her coma? Then what was the point of the twist? I mean Ren was still gonna fight anyway, but that wold set him back to the madness he had before. Also, I think there is confirmation that Darkwing is the douchiest contract monster seeing as it had o reason to go and bother Eri at all. Or maybe it's Eri knows Ren's Knight now. And she passes out again, but maybe it's just from exhaustion. Weird how Ren's started to fade in the mirror world when he hadn't been fighting that long at all. Then again, mirror world rules are incredibly pointless some of the time, so. And the young scientist takes the part time job position at yui's grandma's place. Judging from his demeanor....it's probably likely that he's Tiger, I doubt it's the old guy. And the other scientist who was pushing Shinji around is most likely the big guy, maybe. Ryuki 38 Ah ,Eri's still alright. That's good hat they didn't just write her off back to sleep so soon after she woke up. Okay, so this Kagawa guy's influence really shines in his pupils, since Satoru is echoing his hero philosophy. Also Satoru's kinda creepy. Of course it take Shinji an hour to figure out the scientists are the ones after Yui when he saw Satoru give Yui and evil glare for five minutes! The bug rider is definitely different than the others. When he uses his cards, the voice on his vent was different. He also started to fade out pretty quickly too after using that card. Satoru informs Shinji that Yui's death would stop the rider. Might've been more convincing if he wasn't smiling like a lunatic the entire time. Shinji's obviously pretty torn up. Which...Satoru notes to his comrades, when explaining to them why he told Shinji. He seems more normal here and even looks like he understands why Shinji is all torn up about it, but he goes right back to weirdo as his comrade figures any future failures would be his fault. The other student scientist just seems more concerned with revenge. I'd say he might be the worst of the three, but I dunno if I would ever side with those other two either.... Looks like Eri's going comatose again either...Thought if Re knew the whole time, I guess...it's not as bad. I'm not as angry as I would've been if she just went back to sleep at the beginning of the episode. Anyway, it was nice of Ren to take her back to the beach one more time. And the Alternative guy was the prickish scientist....who's killed by Tiger?! Who is Satoru, who...decided it was wrong to kill Yui, so he killed his comrade. Though I'm sure the guy insulting Satoru played a part in it. But why the hell is he crying? This dude might have a couple screws loose. And hey, Kanzaki's still around, he hasn't shown up in a while. The final boss rider is still with him, too! clearly Ren sneak attacking him wasn't enough to completely wipe him out. |
