I've always found it difficult photographing with red and blue backgrounds. I'm still trying to get the hang of black and white :). Ryuki came out fine, I think it's the contrast with the background that helps him pop.

Unfortunately with the tight hips on my Verde this is the only position other than straight that I can get his legs in :(

Hurricane doesn't have the sweet Dragon head though! Although I guess it will now as I have Flame, but I had no plans to buy both...

How's the ball joint at the chest on yours? The joint on mine has a low tolerance and just pops off the abdomen when i have him leaned forward. Which sucks whenever I place him on his bike.

Chest is fine on mine. But the hips are a nightmare. Trying to rotate them any further than straight is scary. There's a lot of resistance, so much so that it seems like it'll break. I guess I need to get some shock oil.
