I like the actual robot to be practical/real, and I like it when CGI is used to make the practical effects look cooler.

Senpujin from Hurricaneger is literally Live Robo. All the villains in Boukenger are based on previous mecha and the Dethgalian Players are all homages to MOTWs of the past 40 years. And of course, Gooooooooooookaiger!

What exactly do you want? Again, it sounds like you've never watched Super Sentai.

And again, Senpujin is Live Robo, Boukengers monsters are all based on previous mecha, Dethgalian Players are all based on previous monsters and Gokaiger is all about that stuff.
