At the same time, it is a retail release, so I could hold out for Bluefin, like I chose to do for Baron. Although even I'm starting to think this is taking an unusual amount of time for them to be given the clear.

People generally want the base forms over any upgrades, even when they have relatively little screen time. And this is just speculation, but I'll be surprised if Zangetsu continues to use his energy form for much longer.

Especially now that sides are being drawn in this rider battle thing. It's already established they have regular belts that anyone can use and Professor Ryoma probably has some kind of kill switch on the energy belts.

Is there a good chance Bluefin will release figuarts for Kyoryugers in the States being that there will be an adaptation of Power Rangers coming out? I may hold out for the cheaper Bluefin version if that's true.

I hate shopping on AmiAmi since I never had any luck on that site. I'm going to wait and see if Image Anime has them up for pre-order soon.

Just to be sure, how reliable are ImageAnime, CDJapan and AmiAmi with their pre-orders?

I have Baron, Gaim and Zangetsu pre-ordered from each of those sites respectively.

I keep hearing about how crap HLJ is when it comes to pre-ordering since there's basically no point to doing so.

All three sites should be fine for preorders, but bear in mind that depending on the figure, Image Anime can be ridiculously expensive compared to some of the others. Usually they only charge Bluefin retail for the relevant figures, but ones only available in Japan can be costly.

Just got the Figuarts Kamen Rider Delta purchased from bigbadtoystore.com form 43.38 USD *35.99 plus 7.39 shipping* so honestly compared to ordering it from a Japanese website it was a steal plus I finally got to purchase something with my own card instead of me having to just give my grandpa the money & him putting it back in his bank account from him purchasing me something with either one of his credit cards or with his paypal account.

Well it was cheap compared to ordering from an import site because Delta was ported by Bluefin. Bluefin releases are always released at around a set price. I bought Delta a couple of days ago from Midtown Comics in Time Square for the same price plus tax.

Well crap.

I just wish there were some shops in the Clay/Duval County area of Florida that sold these things, the closest one called Sun Coast Comics is only selling those types of items via internet now as their in person shop only focuses on comics now :L.

Has HLJ been getting better with preorders? I haven't heard of people getting shorted on something from them since issues with some Transformer MP preorders a while back, but maybe it's occurred with products I don't follow as much so that could still be cropping up from time to time for all I know.

No. Kyoryuger, Toqger and Gaim were filled with unfulfilled preorders. It feels like it may be far worse than it had been a couple years past.

It's cause the toylines of those three shows are so damn popular that honestly it's gonna be quite difficult for all preorders to be fulfilled.

Then they should do like Amiami does and have a set number of stock when doing pre-orders instead of taking every one that's put in and then cutting loose the ones they can't fill once they get their stock in.

At this point pre-ordering from HLJ doesn't even guarantee that you'll get your stuff. You're basically participating in a lottery.

HLJ has not fufilled my preorder no less then five times. Some Transformer MPs and some Sentai stuff. I gave up on them and now never pre-order from them or always have a back-up. The Customer Service sucks too, there's always someone else they want to blame for their own crap service and never even have the decency to TELL you their not fulfilling your order, you'll just be waiting until you notice everyone else has theirs and then you have to contact them yourself.

Depends on what you actually have preordered, I haven't noticed from the last couple pages what you might have. If preorders on every other site are closed, there's no reason to get rid of them, because at least the miniscule chance of HLJ fulfilling your order is better than not having one at all (if no chance of picking it up soon after release). If it's something available on another website right now, especially at a comparable price, you have nothing to lose from dropping your HLJ order.

The thing is, no preorder will be perfect and 100% guaranteed. Even AmiAmi, who are typically fantastic about fulfilling pre- and back-orders, have flubbed a listing and allowed for more orders than they have; this happened recently with AC Gridon. There still is no site in recent memory as notorious for dropping orders or not even having items you've ordered and paid for, supposedly sitting in the Private Warehouse, as HLJ.

My question is who's actually getting their pre-orders fulfilled because I've seen absolutely nobody who's pre-ordered an item actually receive them so their stock MUST be going to someone.

YIKES. I primarily use them for Transformers, so I suppose I've had less opportunites to be hurt by their stock issues.

For what it's worth, I've consistently had all my recent Transformer preorders from them fulfilled. I went with them for MP-17, 18, 19 & 12G along with Go! Exprime and Go Prime and Generations Rhinox and I think Orion/Megs, with no issues. I suppose I've been fortunate. If it's relevant at all, I've consistently preordered each of those the day they went up on HLJ, though that may not have guaranteed others in similar situations, for all I know.

And yet because of HLJ I got an AC Zangetsu for like 2000 yen with shipping, when he goes for like 15000 yen now thanks to scalpers :lol

So…how's Kyoryu Green and Blue for those that got him in hand?

My HLJ order for AC Zangetsu mysteriously disappeared after it's been in the private warehouse for weeks. Just saying.

Mine are perfect, although I admit I never had any problems with Kyoryu Red either, despite having swapped his arms and hands well over a dozen times.

I did have a little trouble getting Kyoryu Blue's hand around the handle of the Stego Shield (its big), but in the end it got on there perfectly and he holds it very securely.

Damn, all three of the new Sentai releases are amazing. Words cannot describe how upset I am that every week there seems to be half a million Kamen Rider releases announced and there's only 4 upcoming Sentai full stop, all coming out within three months and all from either Kyoryuger or Zyuranger. I have no interest in the Kamen Rider stuff, so this is really worrying me. I love my Sentai figuarts and I have them all so its not like its a nice break to catch up or anything... Bandai, start announcing new Sentai releases, like, yesterday!

Still, these guys rock!

Mammoth Ranger was always my favorite Ranger, I liked Goushi a lot.

The Kyoyugers are really done well, they're absolutely packed with accessories and therefore have so many unique display options. I could gripe about the lack of Gaburicannons, but I think the inclusion of the Armed On modes and eventual Kentrospiker make up for it. Blue and Green come with a Drikelance, assumedly edited to make Kentrospiker, although I can't actually work out how it'd be different to the one that will come with Kyoryu Pink. Mammoth Ranger likewise has a Tricera Lance with pegs and a Ryugekiken with slots for the Howling Cannon. I'm still going to whine about the lack of a Ranger Gun, Ranger Sword and Thunder Slinger, though. I really think that sucks.

Something of note, Mammoth Rangers Moth Breaker lacks detail on the medal, it looks like the same deal for the Tricera Lances and Sabre Daggers too. Weird, I was really impressed with the Ryugekiken included such tiny details, especially considering the medal on the Ryugekiken is much smaller. The Dino Bucker keeps the Mammoth image, though. Its very minor, but I think its sort of interesting none the less.

All in all though, all three are fantastic beautiful figures. I can't wait for the last of the teams.

Congrats man. Wish I could join you guys in preorders, but don't think I have the funds to keep up. Anyway, I'm going to Image Anime to get either the Hurrikenger set or Gouraigers. Or Iron Man. Leaning towards Gouraigers. Update you all here, although most of you already have it.

Strangely, IA also has some of the Gokaigers listed as "back ordered". They were sold out, but guessing we're getting a second windfall due to SMF. Well, just FYI for the locals or those who missed out the first time like I did. Check out the site.

I've never had a problem with HLJ before, guess I've been lucky. I order Transformers and Gunpla from them from time to time, and recently had a couple of orders that were around $150 each shipped and everything I preordered and ordered was available. I am cautious, but it's a last resort.

So this is kind of annoying. The arms on my Hurricane Red and Bouken Blue are suddenly stiff as hell. I cannot even move them without using force and I have no idea why since they were not like that when I first bought them.

Get a tiny bit of shock oil in the shoulder joints. That'll loosen them back up with a bit of gentle movement.

My Ouja and Hurricane Red were the same way. I've even had some Transformers who would suddenly get stiff joints after a long time.

How do you get the oil inside the joints?
