The Boukenger mold is easy. Just maneuver the arm out so you have a clear view of where the ball joint is and put a small drop in. Hurricane Red was tricky, but doable. You have to maneuver the shoulder so you have a little space between the arm and the shoulder sleeve where you can see inside. You have to try and get a small drop in through the space so it will fall onto the joint. |

http://i.imgur.com/HbQkt1o.jpg This is Burning Agito, but the concept is similar. Just shave some off, and take a few bits and mash it into the joint. I know that sounds weird, but it works, I've used dry bar soap on three Figuarts to save them from the SQUEAK. Just put it into the shoulder joint where it is in this picture, and move it around SLOWLY. Especially if it squeaks, because it's already got way too much friction if it's squeaking, and is possibly tearing already. When you do this, the soap should do the trick nicely. The best part is, most people HAVE dry bar soap already! |
WOuldn't I have to take the entire arm about though?
|
Just be careful...I accidentally used too much on my Barnaby Brooks Jr.

And per my Hauls post, there'll be no local/stateside release of Gokaigers, according to my source at Image Anime. Asked about the "back ordered" post on the Gokais and he said yes they'll be re releasing them soon, as they (Bandai) won't be releasing them here in the States. Take it for what you will. Until I hear different, I'll stick with this. Those who missed out (like me), this is your second chance. Quote:

Personally i would rather spend the 3 dollars for the shock oil and get some toothpicks because it works faster and longer and it doesnt end up looking like that!! lol no offense but damn!
ive used the toothpick method with oil for my ryuranger and my kibarangers shoulders its very easy and it helped so much! |

He said there wasn't going to be a US run. I think the ship has sailed for Bluefin releasing the Gokaigers... Too bad for those that don't have the Gokai girls yet, because "yikes" at those prices! I think I got my two for 7000Y each last year.

Those dang prices for those two are what makes my Gokai SHF collection incomplete. Red and Blue would be easy, if I could ever find them. |

The difference there is that although those items received another run, they remained exclusive to Tamashii Web. A straight reissue of an exclusive that is also no longer an exclusive is unlikely. So, any hypothetical reissue of the female Gokaigers would at least be cheaper than secondary market prices but still cost a bit more than the boys due to the necessity of a middleman. Why Bandai would waste time reissuing Gokai Blue and Green, poor selling figures that they were and the signal that anyone not a red would be exclusive, is beyond me. I'd need a source more reliable than some guy at Image Anime to believe this (not that I'm in the market for SHF Gokaigers). |

That's all I have to say about that... |

I don't really keep track of BlueFin because I've no huge interest in them, but have they ever released something so far after release date in Japan as it'd be for a US Gokaiger release? |

I'd say if we don't see them again at SDCC this year then it'd be safe to say the Super Megaforce releases are scrapped. |

And this wasn't the first time the Gokaigers have been displayed, is it? I really don't think they're coming. Eitherway, they've been awfully quiet about it since SDCC and Bluefin aren't exactly quiet, they love hyping up releases that are even just in the talking stage of (like shieldless MMPR Green and Armored MMPR Black). If a US Gokaiger release was happening, I'm sure they'd be talking about it often. Anyway, what's everyone's experience with Mandarake Umeda? Its been 4 days and no Order Confirmation, I even replied and asked for it personally after 3 Days like they advised... Really don't want to miss out on the cheap Yellow Buster and Gorisaki I nabbed! In other news, I was playing with Black Condor last night and was therefore reminded what an epic figure he and Red Hawk are. I swear, the Jetman are the pinnacle of Figuarts releases; beautiful sculpts, awesome articulation and generous and well thought out accessories. It is a travesty that we don't have White Swan, Yellow Owl and Blue Swallow yet. I swear I'd sacrifice any and every upcoming Figuarts release both announced and unannounced to get those three on my shelf. Bandai could charge me anything, just give me those darn Jetman! |

Damn, didn't mean to stir up so much trouble.... |
Fair enough. I still think that people waiting for a US Gokaiger release are going to be disappointed and the Gokai girls prices will probably climb as time goes on.
|
Bluefin announced Ulta Act Ginga for July 2014, but so far nothing about Gaim. I'm starting to think Bluefin might not release the Gaim figuarts in the US.

Some Official pictures of Rose Attacker, priced at 4536yen.

And how do you know it's "faster and longer"? My method takes less time than shock oil to do, I am not sure how you would think it would take longer, especially since you have to go out and get the shock oil, and toothpicks, and have to carefully put it on the toothpick (same amount of time as shaving some bits off a bar of soap), and either have to disassemble the arm (same amount of time as a bar of soap) or struggle with the stuff in the way to put it in the joint (same amount of time as a bar of soap). MY method is also easy, and because it's soap, there's pretty much no clean up, just bits of soap, no toothpicks to throw away either. Quote:

I missed out on preordering Zangetsu, and I have a feeling that BigBadToyStore (Where I have my Gaim and Baron preorders) won't be stocking him, what options would people suggest? Or is it just a case of waiting until his release and hoping to find him in the wild?
Also, considering my first Kyoryu Red broke on first contact with him, I'm going to be shock oiling his replacement pretty much out of the box, there's just something about doing it with soap shavings that makes me feel uncomfortable. |
Well BBTS shipped my Figuarts Delta yesterday and it'll arrive at my house at the end of Monday so thankfully the sun won't be down before it arrives cause end of the day has never meant during or after sunset for my orders whenever I have UPS Ground as the shipping option :lol

I got my Kyoryu Blue & Green set today, pretty fast for r-sal. I'm still waiting on Mammoth Ranger.. which I had shipped u-airmal. Which I'm starting to worry about. Too good to be true I guess. Anyway.. Kyoryu Blue & Green, awesome figures! Unlike Red, I'm seeing no paint QC issues on the yellow teeth on their helmets. Hopefully Gold is the same quality.
I think after Zyuranger & Kyoryuger I won't be buying many more Sentai figures. Bandai doesn't seem committed to finishing older Sentai teams or Sentai that much anymore. I'm a team collector, so I won't be happy with just a bunch of one off releases. |
They aren't gonna lose focus on the Dairanger teams, it's just gonna take them a while cause of how many damned teams they have to make/complete in the first place, making a complete Sentai Team in Figuart form seems to take longer than completing a few Kamen Rider Figuarts plus you have to consider the popularity difference between the two especially since it seems Sentai makes it big mainly due to Power Rangers these days.

Does anyone know anywhere else that's taking preorders for Imperer and Zangetsu? Nippon-Yassan is out of Imperer. :(
|
Imperer is a web exclusive that's being released at the end of next month dude, it's NOT retail so if you DON'T pre-order it before the end time you can't get one and the pre-orders for April releases ended AT THE BEGINNING OF LAST MONTH, sorry dude but you'll have to pay regular price, don't worry most of the time exclusives that are single packs aren't that pricey anyways, it's the multi-packs that are a pain in the ass & a pain in the wallet.

I know TWE reissues or second runs are once in a blue moon, but Gai really deserves a second run. I mean he's listed for well over $150 nowadays.
|
Bluefin said that the Gaim figuarts are under review. Does that mean Bluefin won't be releasing them?
