TV-Nihon's uploaded the first 3 episodes of their redone Blade translation, if anyone's interested. Its also in HD as well.

While the hardsubs and TVNs encode tend to ruin the HD quality quite a bit, IT WAS ABOUT FRICKIN' TIME BLADE GOT A REDO. The old files look absolutely horrible.

I might be biased here, since I'm the translation checker for TV-N's blade, but...

I'm pretty sure takenoko already uses the best settings he can to encode them. He encodes them directly from the bluray rip, not from an encoded work raw (which seems to be what most people believe). If anything, blame it on the upscale by Toei.
