2 more fan modes. Since Go-Buster Beet and SJ05 can combine and become Buster Hercules, I thought, why can't Ace just combine with one of the other Buster Machines to form alternate formations without all the components?

Yep, exactly. It's a spray can of gloss (usually also available in matte or semi-gloss) clear coat, to seal the paint job. Just make sure it's safe for plastic. I think I got mine at Walmart for $5, in the spray paint section.
I can post a picture of what I use later tonight, if you want.

also could you show a picture or 2 with patstriker in some better light, im not really sold on the glossiness

The front didn't end up quite as glossy as I would like, but in person it's pretty great.
I'll see what I can do about a better picture.

Can't imagine I'm going to like GreatGo-Buster as I was sufficiently unimpressed with Go-BusterOh, but 04 and 05 look great individually. Gonna have to give them a ton of paint though.
